"Is this a recipe you're gonna have to make?" Raisya thrust a small piece of paper in front of his patient who was affected by the pterygium.
Pterygium is an eye disease characterized by the growth of a membrane on the white part of the eyeball that can reach the cornea. This condition can occur in one eye only or both eyes at once, and that occurs in patients this time only one eye.
Patiently Raisya explains to his patients what to do and not. Although his heart was anxious about the incident this morning, he remained professional and did not want to mix up personal and work matters.
"Thank you, Doc" said the man pushing his chair and moving.
After the person disappeared along with the door shut, Raisya approached Sister Ely who was recording a report.
"Sus, is the patient named Alisa's disease severe?"
Sister Ely looked up and remembered the name Raisya had spoken.
"It looks like it, Doc. From the data I noted, he had to undergo intensive treatment. He's got a chronic ulcer.
May Alisa be healed quickly.
"Are there any patients that need to be treated again?" ask Raisya.
"No, Doc. There was supposed to be, but he confirmed it again couldn't come, and he's listing tomorrow."
"Alhamdulillah, Sus, I would like to meet Alisa. Please accompany me!"
"By pleasure."
The presence of Raisya is a new color for Sister Ely. In addition to being friendly, Raisya also considers all people friends, no superiors or subordinates, all the same to the extent that people are not awkward to say hello.
Upon arrival below, Raisya reviews the smile of seeing someone who just got off the car. Although the incident this morning disturbed his heart, Raisya remained in his stance not to look to the side.
"Son Devan is here? Why didn't he say it first?" Her heart was pounding again when she saw her husband carrying two bags of food crackles in his hand.
"That must be for me" Raisya said in his heart.
"Sus, don't tell me that I'm here, yes" Raisya said. He ran back and hid behind the waiting room door. He wanted to surprise her and see Devan's reaction after finding out the room was empty.
Unlike usual who went straight to the elevator, this time Devan walked towards the receptionist.
"Sus, where's the room in Alisa's name?" ask Devan.
Duarrr
Bak was struck by lightning in broad daylight, Raisya's body limp instantly. Sister Ely who was at the door immediately ran over to Raisya who was about to collapse.
"Doctors are okay?" sister Ely asked quietly, afraid that Devan who was still in front of her heard her voice.
Instantly Raisya shed her tears and tightly embraced Sister Ely.
"Sus, did the nurse hear Devan's words earlier? She asked Alisa's room, didn't she?"
Sister Ely just nodded, she did not know the past of Raisya and Devan. However, as a married woman can catch a jealous streak on the face of the beautiful Doctor.
"Sus, I also want to go to Alisa's room, I just want to know what Brother Devan is doing there."
"Well, I'll drop you."
Sister Ely held Raisya's hand towards Alisa's room. The hand that had felt calm had changed drastically. Shaking and cold to grip the fingers of Sister Ely firmly.
"This is the room, Doc. Designate one of the VIP rooms at the end.
The door is slightly open. Raisya stopped his steps. Leaning his back against the wall without even wanting to enter or knock on the door.
"What are you carrying?" alisa asked in a weak voice.
"Where is Raisya's brother, sister?" Mayra's voice echoed.
"I just came straight here. He said he was having lunch with Syakila, and maybe now he's at the restaurant."
Raisya held back her fierce rumbling chest. Expelling the jealousy that burst into his chest, he should not be selfish and continue to think positively.
"I'll call Brother Devan. If he's honest, it means he's just visiting Alisa, but __"
Raiya shifted her body to the end of the hall and reached for her phone in the suit, while sister Ely who was still beside her just followed Raisya's movements.
Connected
"Assalamualaikum, dear. Tumben you called, what's up?" A sweet voice greeted, if Raisya usually felt happy, now the voice did not respond to anything.
"Waalaikumsalam, where are you?"
Raisya said in a calm tone, he did not want Devan to be suspicious.
"I'm downstairs, coming to your room soon."
"Where exactly?" ask Raisya next.
Silent, From a slightly hunting breath, Devan must be confused to say, that's what Raisya thinks.
"No need to answer, I'm still outside, I'm just afraid that you're disappointed if you wait a long time" Raisya said and hung up without greeting.
Raisya tries to maintain the inevitability that has been built solidly. He does not want to be complacent with one word, sure and sure of Devan's love for him even though the pain penetrates the heart.
"Sus, accompany me to the restaurant, I want to cool my mind."
Sister Ely stood in front of Raisya and looked at her reddened face, her eyes in tears until it was very noticeable that the woman was fragile.
"Patiently, I'm sure Devan's just visiting Alisa."
Raisya smiled bitterly and patted the shoulder of Sister Ely.
"I'm overdoing it, I shouldn't have thought too far, Brother Devan loves me, and I'm sure it will be like that forever."
Raisya and sister Ely leave the hospital. As said earlier, he went straight to the restaurant next to the hospital.
There was Syakila sitting at the very edge.
"It's been a while, La?" ask Raisya.
"Already, lunch hour was half an hour ago, Brother was late," said Syakila ketus.
"I'm sorry, I'm a lot of patients, so I just got here."
"I ordered a meal" Syakila said without staring.
Finally Raisya handed the menu book to Ely who was sitting in the next chair. Just a few minutes away, the food that Syakila ordered has arrived. Raisya's favorite menu is complete. However, right now his tongue felt bland, and did not want to touch it. Syakila looked at Raisya, as her friend and brother-in-law knew there was something hidden behind that tangled face.
"What do you want to talk about?" tanya Syakila broke Raisya's daydream.
There was no answer, Raisya just smiled wryly and returned busy stirring his food without wanting to eat it which made Syakila even more upset.
"If no one wants to talk about it, I'd better go" Syakila said.
Still the same, there was no reaction from Raisya. So Syakila really got out of her seat and left.
