Dusk Rainbow
Apologise

"Where else should we find Naimah's mom? It's been three days that David hasn't been in the office, who else are we asking?"

David's three employees are getting desperate. Devan's promised time is four days, while they have not yet received any sign of the woman's whereabouts.

"We pray that there may be a miracle" said one of them reassuringly, although his heart was beginning to fear that he would lose his job, they had tried their hardest to carry out his sentence.

"Didn't David come in because he was looking for him?" ask the others.

"Maybe, it's all our fault that we look down on others too much. Every action has a reply. If we get fired from here, it doesn't mean that our job to find Naimah's mom is done, we have to keep trying to apologize, now you're working."

The two employees returned to their desks.

Tears soaked the cheeks of a woman named Nia, not thinking about her job but thinking about her father who was in the hospital and cost a lot.

Devan comes with a million charms, as the son-in-law of Randu Laksana, he also has responsibilities in that office. Two days he took over David's duties, and today he came to check on yesterday's work.

"Morning, sir," greeted the employee with the map in his hand.

"Don't report to me, today Mr. David is in."

Deg deg deg

The woman's heart was becoming more and more unconditioned. His throats rhymed even faster after hearing David's name.

"Okay, sir" he answered nervously.

Devan passes, he only takes the things that are left behind and buys the rujak as Raisya wants.

Sure enough, after Devan got out of the office, David's car arrived in the yard. From behind the transparent glass door, all the servants could see his boss coming out of the car.

David opened the back door, bending over and putting his head inside.

I don't know what he's doing, it's almost fifteen minutes and it makes employees wonder.

"Susan won't come in."

Susan's cheeks were filled with tears. Not as enthusiastic when at home, now he is reluctant to go down. Every look at the office he remembers the incident that made him afraid.

"No papa, honey. There's a father who's going to accompany Susan. They won't be mad at Susan," David gently persuaded and stroked Susan's head.

This morning Naimah was not able to come because the cuisine was not yet cooked, while Susan insisted on wanting to come with her father.

Finally Susan collapsed and wanted to be carried by David to get out.

"What will you buy?" ask David who just stepped in.

Susan shook her head, her face kept down with her head resting on her father's shoulders.

That's Susan, Naimah's daughter.

Nia, dropping the documents in her hand, was astonished to see David at the elevator door.

If Susan is with Mr. David, it means that Ms. Naimah has also met.

The elevator doors open, David comes in. Nia ran over to her best friend who was in the other room.

"What's wrong, why are you panicking?"

Nia stroked her chest, "Susan came with Mr. David, I just saw him."

"Really?"

Nia nodded.

"We have to meet Mr. David now, don't delay any more time."

The two employees called one of his best friends and walked out of his room.

Hopefully Mr. David will tell you where Bu Naimah is.

It sounds very disrespectful, but they will still ask considering the increasingly narrow time.

Instantly the boy's laughter disappeared, his face pale and hiding behind the man holding the mop.

"Susan don't be afraid, auntie won't scold Susan," said Nia gently, walking slowly toward Susan who was hiding.

Susan, no one here will scold Susan anymore, so don't be afraid of anyone. Let's just say everyone's good like Aunt Raisya and Aunt Syakila.

The words again flashed through Susan's mind until she dared to shift her body, revealing her cute face in front of Nia.

"We're acquaintances, yuk!" She held out her hand in front of Susan.

"Aunty's name, Nia."

Susan linked her ten fingers, she still thought of all the words her parents had always advised her.

Long, nearly five minutes, Susan finally received the helping hand and kissed him.

"Susan" he said as they shook hands one by one.

Finally, the three employees were relieved, although they had not met Naimah directly, at least they could meet Susan.

"Assynolt…." A soft voice greeted from behind.

The three employees answered and turned their heads, how shocked they were when they saw someone in front of the elevator door.

Ms. Naimah.

They can only speak in their hearts because their tongues are tongue-tied.

Naimah lowered her head and remembered the time they treated her unfairly there, and now she was reunited with that person.

Naimah passed the three women who were still staring at her with intense gazes and approached Susan.

Why are they here, if they scold Susan again, Astagfirullah, I can't suudzon.

Naimah smiled faintly and grabbed Susan's tiny hand, while the other held a bushel of food.

Like the rain that falls in the dry season, the coming of Naimah makes their hearts cool.

The three women kneeled in front of Naimah which left the empress confused.

"What's this about? Why are you guys like this?" ask Naimah enthusiastically. He retreated away from the body of the employee.

Some of the officers who passed by were staring with strange looks.

"stand! Why are you guys like this?" naimah for the second time.

"Mom, I'm sorry for what I did at that time."

They seem to be sorry and regret their actions. Naimah was silent, she could do nothing but listen faithfully to the apology.

"I've forgiven you, now stand up, I feel bad for the others."

Naimah put down her challenge and helped them stand up.

Hearing a noise, David opened the door to his room.

"Next time don't ever look at people from the way they look. I am a widow, but I have never seduced David to be a husband, teach him that the honor of a man is in himself. May you not suffer the fate of me. I don't want widows either, but God wills another, and one you need to know, I'm a widow because my husband died, not as you say."

Naimah explained at length to the employee, in the slightest he did not have a grudge, let alone hate him.

David smiled and approached Naimah.

"Everything is clear, please work back, I don't want the incident to happen again" said David.
