The Mahesa Rahardjo residence
Looks like guests are starting to throng the mansion. The spacious courtyard was already filled with cars lined up neatly. Today is the day Syakila and Afif look forward to, where they will be a legitimate couple in a sacred bond. The wedding ceremony is held at home, while the party will be held at a star hotel.
Mother and father were busy welcoming the guests who arrived, although his heart was a little gloomy to take off his beloved daughter, at least his smile was still engraved adorning the lips of both of them.
Aunt Aida came with her family. As a brother, Mother gave a special greeting to the woman.
"I'm sorry, I can't accompany you yet" said the mother felt guilty, because she couldn't be with Aida's aunt during the event.
"It's okay, Brother. I can do it with the others."
"Oh yes, inside there is Mbak Aya and Sesil, you just go there." Designate a special room for relatives.
After Aunt Aida entered, it was Alisa's turn to approach Sabrina's mother.
"You're so beautiful" praised Mother cupping Alisa's two cheeks. The girl was wearing a long gray dress given by the mother. Though without the hijab, Alisa starts to dress as covered as Aida's aunt wishes.
Camelia had once incised a deep wound. But Mother never took revenge on the woman, and still considers Alisa the son of Aida.
Alisa smiled then hugged the mother tightly, a clear circle dripping down Alisa's cheeks as the mother patted her back.
"You who are patient, the soul mate in the hands of God, you and Devan are brothers who cannot possibly unite. Mommy pray that you may quickly find a man whom God has chosen."
Alisa wiped her tears and let go of her embrace.
"Yes mother, now I understand that love should not have."
"Attent."
Mother took a tissue and wiped the remaining tears that were still wetting Alisa's cheeks.
"I'm sure you're in the room, you'll be there."
Alisa just nodded then turned to stand in front of dad.
As a wise parent, I do not want to be selfish and selfish. The man spread his hands first, understanding Alisa's face that seemed afraid to say hello.
"You don't want to hug Dad?"
As Alisa looked up, she still could not believe what she heard. However, upon seeing the smile of the father, Alisa was convinced that this was real.
"Can?" alisa asked doubtfully.
"Please!"
Alisa hugged Mahesa's father, she did not know what to say because she had a very warm family.
"Consider your brother Devan, forget what ever happened between you and him, now go see Syakila."
Alisa spread her gaze towards the talking guests, then stared towards the second floor.
Surely Raisya was also in Syakila's room.
From the bottom of her heart, Alisa wants to go up, but she still fears her presence is not well received by others, eventually Alisa joins Aida's aunt.
Not long after, the groom-to-be came. The atmosphere that had been filled with small talk, was now increasingly rumbling. All guests occupied the space provided when Afif walked into a room prepared for him.
"Where's the bride?" ask the ruler who was already in place.
Mother caught Alisa who was behind her.
"Lis, please call Syakila, yes!"
Alisa nodded and moved from her seat.
In room
The other sisters were on the couch and in bed, they were busy with their cell phones.
"Not to be afraid, I was also in your position, even at that time I and Brother Devan were not close to each other like you and Afif mas."
Raisya recalls the story of a few months ago when he and Devan were met in a still awkward state. When Devan did not want to glance at her beauty or care about her. Even Devan keeps contacting Alisa during her happy day. Isn't that more horrible?
Alisa arrives at the end of the stairs, in front of the room there is Devan and the twins are staring at her.
"Who are you looking for?" ask Daffa.
"You call Syakila, Afif has come."
"All right, I'll call you." Devan moved from his seat and opened the room next to his room.
The beautiful angel was joking with each other, while his wife and sister were in front of the dresser with MUA.
"Afif has come, now you're down."
Syakila's chest was beating faster and could not be conditioned, between fear and nervousness mixed into her chest.
"Sister how is this? I'm really scared."
"Don't be afraid, I'll accompany you." Raisya reassured, easing the uneasiness in Syakila's heart.
Gathering her courage, Syakila finally came out of the room with Raisya and her sisters. Upon arriving at the end of the stairs, Raisya let go of his grip and looked back.
"Lis, you go with Syakila, yeah, I have a little business."
Alisa nodded, although this was not the first time they met, Raisya was still a little awkward when face to face.
Alisa went down with the others, while Raisya approached her husband who was still in front of her room.
"Didn't Brother want to come down, the show will start soon, but why is it still here? As the first child should be accompanied by Mother, surely she is sad."
"Yes brother, we go down yuk! Poor mother, soon lost Kak Syakila," invite the twins.
"You go down first, I'll follow you."
After Daffa and Daffi disappeared behind the stairs, Devan and Raisya now live.
"I know, it must be because of Alisa," Raisya guessed.
"Sokay know, I'm waiting for you" Devan replied.
As he said, Devan took Raisya's hand and went down. Devan split through the crowd and approached his bund who was sitting right behind Syakila.
"Mother is not papa?" tanya Devan who now chooses to sit on the left side of the mother, while Raisya on the right side.
Devan clasped his mother's hands very cold.
"Syakila is not going anywhere, she just changes the status, she still belongs to the father and Mother" whispered Devan pulling Mother's body and hugging her from the side.
"Yes mother, Brother Devan is right. Syakila is still the mother's daughter and will be forever like that" Raisya assured.
"Are you ready?" ask penghulu.
Syakila who was sitting next to Afif was holding her chest for a moment as Afif replied with a word, ready.
Silence, there are only chants of holy verses of the Qur'an that are heard, followed by a heartwarming Father's speech, after which it is continued with the wedding sermon where it is the moment of agreement held.
The words of Ijab qabul finally took place with wisdom. Father and Afif shook hands tightly. Dad said the ijab with a little trembling, then Afif said the qabul with one breath until a legitimate voice accompanied the room.
Last prayer for the bride. Mother is getting sobbing in Devan's arms. Likewise with Raisya who was also moved. Finally all beautiful, and hope the relationship Syakila and Afif lasting.
