Currently, Jang Uk was lying in front of Arka in the condition of losing one eye, and most likely dead. Losing to Caius, losing to Kenny, and the death of Agung had undermined Arka's resolve. After reaching his limit a long time ago, Arka's spirit was shattered after Jang Uk was unable to answer as Arka desperately called out his name. Satisfied with herself, Erca praised her own talent and believed that she was a true demon. He not only strengthened the punch with soul energy, but also managed to unleash a black glint on Arka.

The black spark does not choose who will be blessed. Erca's black glint makes Arka break through the palace. The special-class Devil continued to defeat him while revealing Arka's determination to become weak. Erca believes it's not just a battle to fix things, it's a war of truth. He believes Arka is the same as him because Erca kills without hesitation just as Arka saves people without thinking twice. It pits demonic instinct with dignified human reasoning. Erca was confident this conflict would determine which of the two was left a hundred years from now.

After completely defeating Arka mentally and physically, Erca asked the student how she planned to win and whether she had ever counted how many demons she had lost. Erca never cared about how many people she killed and was sure she would forget Arka in the end. He turns his arms into claws like a praying mantis and tries to kill Arka. However, there was the sound of applause that suddenly shifted Erca.

"Gion shoja's bell sound echoes the impermanence of everything. Sala flower color reveals the truth that prosperity must decline. However, we are the exception!" Garou.

"What just happened? We switched places?!" Confused Erca.

Urahara, Yuna's student who was brought in by Agung, also joined after medically treating Jang Uk. He believes Jang Uk might die and asks Garou not to blame him later. Garou then told Urahara to help his brother Arka before telling his friend who was about to lose that he had to wake up because their battle had just begun!

Helpless and trembling on the ground right in front of Garou and Urahara, Arka explained that she could not fight anymore. Not only did Jang Uk perish before his eyes, Agung was also killed by Erca. Urahara was shocked because even a 1st class magician had been defeated recently. To add to Arka's suffering, Onimaru could potentially slaughter tens of thousands of people and Arka felt she needed to help others to compensate. However, he felt a complete failure in that regard. Arka wanted to avoid any feelings other than a murderer, but now she was in the right position. Crying and writhing on the ground, Arka reveals that she cannot forgive herself.

Enamored by Arka's affliction, Erca jumps towards a group of witches with spiked arms. Garou clapped her hands and activated her technique to replace Erca's position in the air with Urahara behind her. Erca tries to turn around and attack Garou, but the witch exchanges the position of the demon for Arka's position. Off guard, Erca was left wide open to receive a powerful kick that made her stagger towards Urahara. Garou quickly swapped Urahara and Erca again and took a position in front of his brother to face that special demon of the class alone.

"Brother, you are a man among men. Don't limit yourself to such narrow-mindedness.you are a witch.you and I! Jang Uk and Mr. Supreme! We are all together, a witch! as long as we live, our dead friends will not really die! it is not about sin or punishment, when we become witches, our lives cannot be limited by such misfortunes. Seeking meaning or logic in death can sometimes tarnish the memory of those who have been lost! even so!

Urahara quickly treated Arka's wounds by applying his magic technique. He tells Arka that his injuries will not get worse from now on unless he maintains a new one. Urahara has done the same for Jang Uk. Urahara admits that the man (Jang Uk) has no pulse and is not breathing, but Urahara keeps pushing Arka by adding information that his chances of safety are not 0%. After trying to instill hope in Arka, Urahara took Jang Uk and retreated from the palace.

Erca attacked Garou and tried to split herself in several different ways to outsmart her opponent. However, Garou proves efficient in avoiding Erca while staying away from Arka. The small transfiguration man behind Garou turned into a huge spike, but he managed to dodge the attack. The attack that almost cut off the witch's clothes, made Erca disappointed her opponent did not clap. Even so, Erca was confident after harnessing the power of the black flash, hoping to do so once more. He believed the attack brought him closer to the true essence of his soul.

Garou suddenly clapped again and interrupted Erca's thinking. Arka appeared before the demon, in a position ready to fight. He filled his fists with soul energy and reminded himself of Great's last words: "I leave the rest to you". Arka also secretly apologizes to her downed mentor for almost using her sins as an excuse to run away and promises to endure her suffering in the future.

Focusing and re-committing to the battle, Arka unleashes a black spark on Erca, smashing the demon's arm with a black flash! Erca was repulsed but quickly healed her wound. Amused, the demon smiled and said that Arka had returned from the dead. Garou welcomes him back into battle and Arka is ready to fight beside him.
