Chapter 39. Finding DNA without an owner

Detectives Egan and Keiko are still sitting comfortably on a sofa in one corner of Birdella's workspace, they are still waiting for the results of DNA research conducted by Aris, junior Birdella on the forensic team in a different room.

Now they have more than half an hour waiting for the results of DNA examination in the workspace Birdella but they still choose to wait patiently for the results of the work from Aris, without leaving the workspace Birdella at all.

While waiting for the results, Detective Keiko chooses to be busy with her own phone, trying to check on her mother's condition, while detective Egan just sits quietly relaxes her muscles, it was as if he had now returned completely immersed in the thoughts of his own. It was as if detective Egan was now letting his brain cells move and continuing to work looking for answers to questions created by himself. Detective Egan is still trying to put together a puzzle that is scattered with all the things they have, he is still trying as hard as his mind to solve the gospel murder case.

At this time Birdella's workroom felt more and more lonely had made detective Keiko almost fall asleep because every they were busy with their respective activities made none of them open their voices to each other conversing.

Birdella who is still focused and immersed in her preoccupation with doing her job is now distracted by the arrival of Aris who opens the door of Birdella's work room with great joy and confidence even to make her forget to knock on the door.

“I already have the result,” said Aris cheerfully.

Detectives Egan, Keiko and Birdella stood up from their seats and quickly approached Aris.

“How? is there a suitable one?“ birdella asked to know.

“One of the DNA on top of the badge matches one of the DNA samples in the data base in the office. She is a twenty-five year old woman named Tania Akbar.“

“What about the other DNA?“ detective Egan begins to thin out his patience waiting for that result.

Detective Keiko stepped back and sat back on the sofa she was sitting on when she finally heard Aris' words. It was as if the rest of his spirit today had completely exhausted itself as it seemed like they were meeting again with a dead end in their case.

Then Birdella took the results of the research from Aris' hands and lined it with one of the maps that were still lying on her workbench and she examined both of them carefully many times until there was confidence in her heart.

“Aris, try to get you here,” Birdella said calling her junior to come closer.

Then swiftly, Aris followed the direction of the senior, walking closer to Birdella's desk.

“This is a DNA test taken by detectives Egan and Keiko from a cigarette and this is the result of research and analysis that you did on the forest police badge. Try to pay close attention.“

Aris put his eyes fixed on both reports. back and forth both his eyeballs saw until he finally said, “Wah! the results of both are similar.“

“So do you think?!“ Birdella tried to validate what she believed.

Detective Egan who heard the chatter of the two forensic experts, immediately approached birdella's desk and asked, “What's wrong? what did you guys find?“

Birdella closed both reports in the brown map and analyzed it and said, “Gue must first confirm what I think is just a possibility or a possibility. I need to check the last piece of evidence and confirm the results of DNA research that is there.“
