Chapters 15. Started questioning Hilda

Detectives Egan and Keiko took Hilda who was still involved in shock out of her office and went to a cafe located not too far from her office.

Detective Keiko accompanies Hilda to a table located right in the middle of the cafe, while detective Egan goes to order drinks for the three of them.

Hilda is still trying to hold back her tears when detective Egan has returned with a drink he ordered.

“Drink this first, Hilda. So that you can be more calm,” said detective Egan while pushing a glass of iced vanilla latte towards Hilda who is now sitting on her crossbar.

Hilda grabbed the drink and gulped it down once and put the glass back down.

“Me and Tania are from the same village. We both dream of being rich and happy. But I am the one who came to this city first, only a few months later Tania followed me here,”, said Hilda began telling stories.

“Do you know that Tania had worked as a teller in a bank?“ ask detective Egan.

But since his father had an accident he immediately switched positions to replace his father into the backbone of the family. It must have been heavy for him,“ Hilda's tears dripped.

“You know why Tania came out from where she worked before?“ ask detective Keiko.

Hilda did not answer detective Keiko's question directly. There was a look of uneasiness on Hilda's face. Then he took his drink back.

“Is that why he was fired?“ detective Keiko asked.

“Is Tania's boss named Abqari?“ ask detective Egan.

“Betul, he is the one. The coward Abqari,” said Hilda.

“Is it possible he killed Tania?“ hilda asked after a long moment of silence.

“We can't be sure yet. But of course we will put it on the list of suspects and will question him later,” replied detective Egan.

“I beg you, for my sake. Please find out who killed Tania,” said Hilda who now started crying again.

“Sure. Not only you, the Tania family even we are eager to drag the savage human into the cell and receive the appropriate punishment,” detective Keiko replied while shaking Hilda's right hand that had not stopped crying.

“But who was the person you were with in the dressing room?“ ask detective Egan.

Hilda looked surprised to hear that question again. His sad face from the grief had now turned deathly pale.
