Chapters 20. The first suspect
Half-dragged, Abqari entered the interrogation room that had been prepared by the investigation team.
Now Abqari is sitting in a chair where across the table are also detectives Egan and Keiko who are ready with all their questions related to the case this time.
“We just start yes,” detective Keiko said opening the interrogation session this time.
“Where were you on the night of the incident?“ ask detective Egan.
“You mean?“ Reply Abqari.
“Come Abqari. We know the reason the three of us are sitting in this room,” detective Egan said.
“Oh, you mean the night of the stupid Tania's murder,” Abqari said in a condescending tone.
“Why do you call a victim stupid?“ ask detective Keiko.
“Of course he's so stupid. How could a paid woman like her ask me to marry her, even she threatened to report what we did to my wife,” Abqari said emotionally.
"How can you call someone else a fool. While you're doing it along with the person you call stupid," detective Keiko said emotionally hearing a woman was denigrated.
"Why are you so angry?" timpal Abqari with a soft tone.
"Please appreciate my partner. Because I can also get angry," detective Egan said as he pulled Abqari's collar after leaning across the table between himself and Abqari.
"We're back to our first question, where were you when it happened that night?" detective Keiko tries to break up detectives Egan and Abqari.
"I was at home at the time. Watch my favorite movie that I play almost every year" replied Abqari while tidying up her clothes that were disheveled because of being attacked by detective Egan earlier.
"Are you with your wife?" ask detective Keiko.
"It's a pity that it's not. That night I watched alone and my wife was away with her friends' garden because there was a birthday that day" Abqari replied casually.
"It's really very dear. We can't cross you off our list of suspects Mr. Abqari" detective Egan smirked.
"I don't care. Because I'm sure I'm not involved with the case. I didn't do that to that stupid woman" Abqari replied still in her casual style.
"In that case, with all due respect we ask for a DNA sample from you" detective Keiko said as she placed a bag of catton buds to take a DNA sample.
Abqari casually took the bag, opened it and took out the cutton bud and put it in her mouth, taking some samples.
“There's more I need to take for you guys his DNA test?“ ask Abqari while putting the cutton bud on the table.
"Is that a big deal for you?" ask Abqari.
"It seems like you do like to argue with us huh," detective Egan reacted again.
Having completed their interrogation and Abqari still as a suspect, they could not hold Abqari longer.
“So, anything else I can help?“ asked Abqari in a denouncing tone.
“For now there is no more. We say thank you very much,” retort detective Egan no less fierce and as if underestimating.
Abqari then comes out of the interrogation room arrogantly knowing that the detectives can't hold him back.
"I really see the style of the Abqari," grumbled detective Egan.
"My same as well. But do you have to endure your emotions. You can make our investigation problematic" detective Keiko said trying to remind her partner.
"Gue believes he did it" detective Egan said in anger.
"Where can it be. We have to research well first we decide who is really guilty," said detective Keiko trying to be neutral even though he also does not like the attitude of Abqari.
"Importantly, now we're taking this DNA sample to Birdella to get her to be thorough, '" detective Egan excited.
"It's a check" detective Egan handed over a bag of DNA samples from Abqari.
"Who's this?" ask Birdella.
"We're number one" replied Detective Keiko.
"What's his name?"
"Abqari, our former victim's superior," replied detective Egan.
"OKAY. I'll check this sample quickly. Hopefully the results will come out soon," Birdella said and began to separate the sampling tools.
"If there is a result, please let us know in a piece," detective Keiko asked.
"Surely," Birdella replied.
The two detectives left Birdella's room.
