Chapter 22. Meet Atep Ceceng, the second commissioner
After finishing talking with Abqari, detectives Egan and Keiko turn their attention to checking the truth of Romeo's alibi.
And now these two detectives are in Romeo's office lobby again.
At the reception desk was seen Hilda who was sitting with her neat uniform and slick hairdo that made her look more beautiful.
"Hello Hilda's. We meet again," detective Keiko said as she threw a smile.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Egan, Ms. Keiko. Can I help you this time?" hilda said also flashed a friendly smile.
"We want to see Reno and the other commissioners today" Detective Keiko replied.
"But the commissioners are meeting guests in their respective rooms" Hilda replied.
"When can we meet them?" ask detective Egan.
"Sorry, but I can't confirm sir. Because they have advised not to be disturbed" replied Hilda.
"But it looks like we can bother them because today we brought a warrant," detective Keiko said.
Not yet Hilda gave another answer to the sentence released by detective Keiko, someone with strict control out of the elevator to the lobby.
"Who is he?" ask detective Keiko.
"He was Mr. Atep, one of the commissioners in this company," replied Hilda.
Hearing the answer from Hilda, detectives Egan and Keiko immediately ran over to the person who was still steadily stepping towards the exit full of control.
"Sir Atep?!" detective Egan said he followed one of the commissioners.
Quickly, the guards who had been walking around Mr. Atep had arrested detective Egan.
"We're from the police" detective Keiko said, revealing her badge.
Mr. Atep stops his steps and signals his guards to release detective Egan.
"What is this business?" ask Mr. Atep.
"We want to ask for help from Mr. Atep" replied detective Keiko.
"What help can I give to the police?" ask Mr. Atep.
"We want to confirm someone's alibi sir" detective Egan said.
"Well," Mr. Atep guided detectives Egan and Keiko into a room and gestured his guards to stay in their respective positions and not follow them.
Detectives Egan, Keiko and Atep entered a small room in one corner of the lobby, which contained two chairs and a small table in the middle.
"So, whose alibi do you want confirmation? And what's the real problem?" ask Mr. Atep.
"There's a murder case that we're trying to expose sir. Maybe you know the victim?!" detective Egan told me the information.
"Who are the victims?" ask Mr. Atep with curiosity.
"Tania Akbar, one of the officers here," replied detective Egan.
Hearing that answer, Mr. Atep's face suddenly changed as if hearing bad news.
"Tania Akbar?" tanyanya tried to convince what she had heard.
"Master, sir" replied Detective Keiko.
"Do you know the victim?" ask detective Egan.
"I know him, but not as one of the employees here" replied Mr. Atep.
"Where do you know the victim?" ask detective Egan.
"I know Tania as a former lover of the son of the largest shareholder and the son of the CEO of this company" replied Mr. Atep.
“So right, that Tania and Romeo were once in a relationship?“ ask detective Egan.
"Rubber. So is it true that Tania is dead?" ask Mr. Atep.
"Rubber sir. We found the victim on a hill in a state of lifelessness,” replied detective Keiko.
"So you don't know that Tania works here?" detective Keiko is still trying to confirm.
"No. All this time I knew that Tania was the ex-lover of Romeo. That's it, that's it" Atep said.
"You mean Romeo Soeratman?" ask detective Keiko.
"Do you know Romeo?" ask Mr. Atep.
"We've been seeing him since the beginning of this strongest case" detective Egan tells.
"But I know that they have not been in contact for a long time" said Mr. Atep.
"As I recall, they had a big fight before parting ways,"
"What are the things that make them fight so much?" detective Egan started prying information again.
"I don't know for sure what kind of trouble they were fighting at the time. I dare not speculate" Mr. Atep answered the question.
"We also want to ask about Romeo's alibi" detective Keiko said.
Mr. Atep's face turned a little pale and began to behave clumsy when the detective wanted to ask a lot about Romeo.
“Is on August 21st, there really a meeting involving the commissioners?“ ask detective Egan.

Mr. Atep was silent as if he did not want to answer that question.
“Remember sir, we have the authority to ask that question because we have a warrant,” said detektifEgan trying to press Mr. Atep.

“Is the previous CEO the father of Romeo?
“True. the current CEO is Mr. Julian Soeratno,” replied Mr. Atep.
“So, there is a plan for Julian to be replaced by his son, Romeo?“ ask detective Egan.
“True. such was the original plan,” replied Mr. Atep.
“Was Romeo Soeratman in the meeting that day?“ ask detective Keiko.
mr. Atep went back into silence trying to avoid that question. But of course detective Egandna Keiko will not let Mr. Atep not give an answer at all.
“How about Atep sir?“ detective Egan asked still trying to press.
“Seinget me... Romeo was present at the time but it was too late,” replied Mr. Atep in a hesitant tone.
“Are you sure sir?“ ask detective Egan.
“Iya. I'm sure,” this time pack Atep replied confidently.
The three of them were silent for a moment to manage the situation until finally Mr. Atep said,”I still have important business. I have to go.“
“Good sir Atep.thank you very much for your cooperation,” detective Keiko told Mr. Atep while regretting it.
Mr. Atep stood up from one of the chairs and tidied up his clothes, then he left detective Egan and Keiko who were still in the room.
“So according to lo, can we correct Romeo alibi?“ ask detective Keiko to her partner.
“We have to ask the one remaining commissioner,” detective Egan said.
“We meet him now?“ ask detective Keiko.
“Gue wants to see you now. Let's ask Hilda, if the commissioner is done with his guest,” retorted detective Egan.
The two detectives came out of the room and tried to find Hilda at her place of work. But Hilda was not there.
“Where's Hilda?“ detective Keiko asked Hilda's co-worker.
“Hilda is meeting her friend,” she replied.
“Where?“ ask Detective Keiko again.
“I do not know. earlier he was only permission to leave for a while,” replied his colleague Hilda.
Just as detective Egan stepped into the workers' locker room, Hilda had already picked him up from the front of the lobby.
“You're looking for me?“ ask Hilda.
“Where are you from?“ ask detective Keiko.
“I've met up with friends,” Hilda replied as she walked back into her study.
“Who is your friend?“ ask detective Egan.
“You want to meet with Mr Bian Hararjo right?!“ hilda asked while whispering to detective Keiko.
“Who?“ detective Keiko whispered.
“The last commissioner you want to meet. That, sir Bian is walking out of the elevator,” Hilda replied.
Detectives Egan and Keiko turned their bodies around and saw a well-dressed man crossing a lobbi.
