Chapter 26. Knowing the identity of Hilda's lover
After agreeing, that day detectives Egan and Keiko decide to meet Hilda at her place of work.
But when the two detectives arrive in the lobby, where they usually see Hilda sitting sweetly working to receive guests for the company.
“Hilda today in or not?“ detective Keiko asked one of the receptionists.
“He is being called by our boss,” replied his colleague.
“Called where?“
“I don't know sir. Hilda called and she left immediately. He just said called by our boss,” replied the receptionist again.
“You guys were the police yesterday right?“ the receptionist asked.
“Betul,” replied detective Egan.
“Are you guys investigating something?“ ask the receptionist.
“Do you know Tania Akbar?“ ask detective Keiko.
“Tania? Who just entered a few months ago?“
“Betul. What do you know about Tania?“ ask detective Egan.
“Ngga much I know about Tania. I only know he's a close friend of Hilda's. I hear he peddles himself and I think Mr. Romeo knows him. Is Mr Romeo one of his customers?“ the receptionist looked very curious.
“Can be true but can also be wrong,” detective Egan deliberately made the receptionist guess. The confused face of the receptionist made detective Egan smile with satisfaction.

“Let's go,” reply detective Egan also whispered.
“Gue wants to go to the toilet first,” said detective Keiko and he just passed by leaving his partner who still enjoys the confused face of the receptionist.
Detective Keiko came back out of the nearest toilet from the reception desk because on his doorstep it said 'Toilet in repair'.
“There are other toilets ma'am. Near the back garden of the building,” said one of the officers who saw detective Keiko who had just come out of the toilet.
“Good. Thank you very much,” detective Keiko replied and immediately walked to the toilet in question because it was very kebelet.
In the back garden was a pair of humans talking to each other. Detective Keiko could see through the tail of her eyes but since she couldn't stand it, she didn't care at all.
After finishing his business in the toilet, detective Keiko immediately went out and returned past the park. The two humans were still in the same position, breathing and chatting, then shortly hugging each other.
Detective Keiko finally realizes that she recognizes the two men. Hilda and the man with her is Romeo.
Detective Keiko rushed back to see his partner in the lobby of the company building.
“I found Hilda,” detective Keiko said as soon as she met detective Egan.
“Where?“
“Lo definitely won't believe the same what I saw,” reply detective Keiko excited.
Detective Egan's face looks very curious. But once detective Egan had asked his question, they saw Hilda walking into the lobby.
“That's Hilda,” detective Egan said as he pointed towards the back of his partner's body.
Detective Keiko turned her body and looked at Hilda who was already sitting in her chair.
“Really? Who?“ detective Egan is getting curious.

“We were wrong about that. Hilda's lover is not Bian sir but Romeo Soertman,” detective Keiko replied.
“Hilda is dating her best friend's ex-lover?“ detective Egan was shocked.

“You mean, maybe he killed Tania because he knew that Tania was Romeo's ex-lover?“ ask detective Egan.
“Iya,” detective Keiko replied.
“Ngga reasonable. Why Hilda had to kill Tania just because Romeo and Tania had been dating, ” detective Egan refuted his friend's theory.
“What if Hilda feels that Tania is a threat to her position now!? Hilda fears Romeo is falling in love again with Tania,” detective Keiko is still adamant on her theory.
“What if it turns out that Romeo killed Tania on the grounds that he did not want Tania to tell Hilda that they used to be lovers,” detective Egan put forward a theory that appears in his head.
The two detectives fell silent, immersed in their respective theories and analyses. Trying to match their theory with the facts they have gathered even though in the end each of them finds a dead end.
“We're into Hilda's interrogation?“ detective Keiko asked, awakening her partner from her own thoughts.

The two detectives approached the reception desk and as usual Hilda greeted them with a friendly and sweet smile.
“Good afternoon detective Egan, detective Keiko. Can I help you this time?“ ask Hilda full of hospitality.

“Still want to ask me? Is it still about Tania?“ ask Hilda again.
“Unfortunately,” replied detective Keiko with a gloomy face.

“His father has not,”detective Keiko replied.
“We want to ask about your lover. Is your lover Romeo Soeratman?“ ask detective Egan.
Hearing the question from detective Egan, suddenly Hilda's face turned pale because of shock and shock because detective Egan already knew his lover.
