Abigail pondered, she stared blankly at the wet garden from the rain. Several times he heard a long breath. The sound of heavy rain seemed to rival his breath. The warm chocolate that has been provided has become cold because he did not touch even a little.
Micah who had just finished his work immediately approached Abigail. He stared at the small table in front of the Little Brother. The drinks and snacks provided did not touch the girl at all.
Micah approached and sat down next to Abigail. But Micah chose to be silent, though he was eager to ask. Micah waited for Abigail to take the initiative to tell her the problems that were troubling her without being asked.
The two sat in silence, letting the sound of the rain that began to subside dominate. Once again Abigail took a deep breath and exhaled violently before she finally opened her mouth to speak.
"Sister." He said without looking at Micah. "I'm scared."
The two words that slid from Abigail's lips made Micah's forehead wrinkle. He looked at Abigail carefully. The beautiful face of the sister looks sad. There were a lot of things he was afraid of and it was clearly illustrated. The happy light in her beautiful eyes was no longer visible.
"What are you afraid of?" Ask Micah gently. His left hand stretched out to tidy up the child's hair that fell on the cheek of the Brother.
Abigail did not answer. He chose to incline closer to Micah and rested his head on the Brother's arm. In fact, he hesitated to tell her the problem that had stuck in his heart. If it is not disclosed, it can
"I was scared after getting married and having children. Darren and I died and left my son alone." Lirih Abigail's.
Micah's face paled, he violently jerked his arm until Abigail was aghast and then sat down properly.
"Don't think that strangely Ai!" Hardik Micah. His face looks angry too.
But Abigail did not look scared, she looked at Micah flatly. The trauma of the past seemed to have taken hold of his brain.
"Darren is the heir to Zico Petroleum. It was a big company even so famous. Their competitors will definitely use all sorts of means to……"
"Stop!!!" Micah went up and stood in front of Abigail. Both of his palms were directed forward asking Abigail to be silent. "So please stop!!!"
Micah was panting to hold the turmoil in his heart. Abigail lowered her head, not long after which she began to sob. Today's weather really affected Abigail. Dark clouds overshadowed his heart.
"What's this?" The newly arrived Venus was astonished by the situation.
Abigail was crying, and Micah was angry and grabbed her hair with both hands.
Though puzzled, Venus immediately sat down and rubbed Abigail's back to calm the girl down.
"As long as I'm alive, I'll put all my energy and everything I have into protecting you. I'll make sure you don't have the same fate as your parents!" Micah spoke with great firmness. His eyes were already glazed. But with all his might he held back his feelings.
Venus was surprised, she widened her eyes. "What's wrong? Who threatened you Ai?"
Abigail did not answer, she still sobbed.
"Mikha?!" Venus asks for an explanation.
Micah sighed violently. He looked at Abigail for a moment and then looked at Venus.
"Ai was scared, after she and Darren got married and had children. There will be people who come slaughtering them like….." Micah could not continue his sentence. His jaws clenched firmly, his chest pounding faster withstanding the turmoil of his feelings.
There is pain that comes from Abigail's words. The terrifying memories of that night flashed back in his head.
Venus flabbergasted, her eyes closed for a moment. Venus felt the same way Micah did.
"Ai, is this because Darren's the heir to Zico Petroleum?" The voice of Venus sounded vibrating.
Abigail could only nod when answering Venus's question.
"We promised Lord Li that we will both take care of you with our lives. Until at any moment, until our last breath. We'll keep trying to keep your family safe." Venus convinced Abigail.
"Indeed, there is no perfect human creation. All systems made must have weaknesses. But if we try and do all that for good, God's cooking will turn a blind eye?" Micah continued, who was now on his knees, equated with Abigail who was hugged by Venus.
Abigail moved away from Venus. He then grabbed a tissue to clean his face.
"I'll go to the bathroom first." And soon left Micah and Venus.
After Abigail's departure, the two women looked at each other for a moment then hugged each other. Seeing Abigail who was crying in fear like that made the hearts of both of them sliced.
"I don't want to fail again." Micah in the arms of Venus.
Venus' body stiffened for a moment, she recalled the incident. Venus biting her lips trying to control herself.
"Nothing bad will happen to them." Venus patted Micah on the back. He said this after he could convince himself.
Micah took a deep breath and broke their embrace.
"I'm sure Mr. Zico has overcome their competitors in a good way. I've even investigated it." Micah said as he stood up. "But to be honest, hearing Ai's words, those doubts just popped out."
Venus was silent for a moment. "We'd better tell this to Grand Master Zico. He should know whatever Ai is thinking and feeling right now."
Micah thought of Venus' speech then nodded. "You're right."
"What's right?" Abigail had returned with a better face after washing her face.
Venus and Micah did not answer, they looked at Abigail lovingly. "How are you doing?"
Abigail took a deep breath before returning to her seat.
"It's better." He answered while smiling wryly. "Sorry to make you angry. I can't control my trauma yet."
Venus grabbed Abigail's fingers and patted her hand gently on the back. "Nobody can control the situation, neither can we. But we can live by accepting the fact that it's all ever happened."
"It's not easy." Lirih Abigail's.
"But not impossible." Micah Sahut.
"The three of us can live like normal people are good. Because not everyone can get through this." Venus tries to encourage Abigail. "Don't be too hard on yourself."
The words of Venus and Micah seemed to reveal the thick fog that enveloped Abigail's heart. In his heart he cursed his own stupidity that had thought of futile things.
Abigail looked at the two women in turn and smiled. "I will multiply my gratitude, so as to diminish all my fears."
"Good idea."
"Brilliant."
Praise the two women after hearing Abigail's decision.
