ASSISTANT CULUN

ASSISTANT CULUN
Chapter 42. Gyms

That evening Micah, Abigail, Darren and Trias had dinner at Darren's apartment. And Micah decided to stay at Abigail's apartment. Aside from the request of the younger brother, there was something else Micah wanted to discuss.

After returning home from Darren's unit, Abigail unloads her clothes and some belongings and arranges them all into a nightstand that is already available in her room. The apartment occupied by Abigail already has complete furniture. He only needs to bring his clothes and personal belongings because everything has been prepared by Trias and Darren.

"Ai, what do you think of Darren's decision to live and work in the same place?" Micah asked after they prepared for the break and Abigail appeared to have finished applying skin care.

Abigail sat on the edge of the bed facing the sofa where Micah was sitting while patting her cheeks softly.

"It will be exhausting, brother. Because a lot of people are going in and out of the building." Abigail gave her opinion. "Unless they do a good screening process for each crew that can get in and out of the building easily."

Abigail pensively for a moment. "Have any team members been betrayed before?"

"There was, according to your report back then the makeup artist named Rui. He was forced to do so because he needed big money for the recovery of one of his family members."

Abigail nodded her head. He was increasingly curious about the course of the mission that he could not remember anymore in the meantime. "A possibility like that can no longer be ignored. Could've turned up a new traitor." His word.

Suddenly Abigail got up and sat down beside Micah after she was silent for a while.

"What's wrong?" Micah looked up, surprised that Abigail made a sudden move like that. Moreover, the gaze of the younger brother who looked directly into his bead of eyes.

"Are Darren and I really kissing?"

Abigail ignored her accelerating heartbeat. He endured the embarrassment of asking Micah about it. Even Abigail could already guess if right now her face was definitely flushed red.

"Silver's worried your sister's answer will make you lose focus." Micah answered with a smile.

Abigail covered her face with both hands. "From my brother's expression can already be clearly seen the answer."

Micah rubbed Abigail's head with affection. "My sister's grown up, not felt."

"It's embarrassing." Abigail lowered her hand.

Micah smiled faintly. "Whatever happens, always remember. Your contract is not yet completed. Someone will come and try to finish it. So stay focused."

"I knew. As my brother used to say. There will be times when you can't help me at all." Abigail held Micah's hand in her head. "Thank you for always trying to be there for me."

Micah pulled Abigail into his arms. "That's what family is for."

Abigail returned Micah's embrace warmly. Even the girl closed her eyes enjoying the affection Micah had poured out. It seems like Darren's saying that he's spoiled has a point.

After Micah broke his arms, he held Abigail's hands and looked straight into the girl's eyes.

"This time, I asked Venus to seize Draco's failed contract. But before, there would be 1 group of amateur hunters who intend to try."

Abigail's eyes blinked several times hearing the name Venus coming out of Micah's mouth.

"Sir Ve.." Abigail could not hide the sadness in her heart.

Venus is considered her own sister. The emotional closeness of both exceeds the relationship of the coach and the trained person. Naturally, when he heard his name Abigail felt sad and longed. Venus has not seen him for a long time. And when they meet again they will be on two opposite sides.

"Why is it that every time you see Brother, he never wants to see me either?"

Micah was silent, and he did not know what Venus was.

"For that, I don't know."

Abigail sighed harshly. He wanted to know the reason Venus, even he had time to wonder in his heart, maybe he had done something that made Venus disappointed to not want to see him.

"Yahhhhhhhhh...We better take a break."

Micah just looked at Abigail who was already moving towards the bed. He knew Abigail's heart must have been hurt because Venus avoided her. But Micah could not have kept this plan a secret from Abigail. He was afraid, Abigail would be surprised when she met Venus even though Venus later only theatrical.

☘️☘️☘️

Abigail was already inside Darren's apartment after escorting Micah to the parking lot. The girl read a Triassic paper containing a list of her work.

"If my memories don't go away, I definitely won't be confused to start a job." Abigail murmured while checking the stock of vitamins Darren would take.

"If your memory hadn't been lost, I might have fucked you by now."

Darren's voice made Abigail flinch and half jump as she turned around. He didn't know the young man was there.

"You surprised me, sir." Abigail said with her palms on her chest.

Darren's lips covered a wry smile. He did not like the way Abigail was talking to him at the moment. But there was nothing he could do.

"Sorry to surprise you." Darren leaves Abigail alone.

The girl turned back, she immediately took a glass and filled it with mineral water and drank it. His breathing was slightly puffed up as he was still in a state of shock.

"What did he say? Fascinate myself?" Abigail held her head with both hands. "Oh my God, I'm taking back my words. I'm grateful to lose some of my memory."

With great difficulty Abigail returned her focus. A moment later the girl resumed her activities.

He went down to the second floor to bring a bottle of mineral water and a bottle of fruit juice. In front of the door that read gym, Abigail entered the code that has been given Trias and entered without looking around.

After putting the two bottles on a table not far from the door, Abigail immediately twitched to her left side as she felt an attack from behind.

Without seeing who attacked him, Abigail twisted her body to put up a fight. Looks like a young man who has the same height as Darren trying to paralyze him.

Abigail fended off the movement of the young man who was always eyeing her stomach and neck. On one occasion it was seen that the position of the young man was open. Abigail made use of the gap to retaliate and pat her assailant's chest very strongly.

The young man took a few steps back. Abigail gave chase, and with a very fast movement, the girl managed to hit at some points like the base of the arms, back and also waist.

The fight with his bare hands did not look like a draw. Abigail was more dominant, her attacks were more successful landing on the young man's body.

The combination of Abigail's hands and feet forced the young man to fend off the attack by walking backwards. Until then the tip of Abigail's right leg lifted straight and managed to press the attacker's neck that had been cornered on the wall.

"Who told you to? Why attack me?" Abigail looks very intimidating.

But the young man did not answer, Trias and Darren's voice surprised Abigail and lowered her legs.

"Pig! Stop that."

"Kay!"

Abigail tidied up her clothes and hair as Darren approached her. While Trias helped Kay to stand up well.

"He attacked me first." Abigail said as Darren looked at her and Kay in turn.

"I've never seen him, so I think he's an intruder who tried to harm Darren." Kay defended herself.

"But I'm not sneaking around at all." Abigail Sahut.

"Sorry, I was so shocked that I attacked. As I recall only Darren, Trias, Felix and I can enter this place. So it's only natural that I act immediately." Kay put on a wry smile. He could not believe he had been defeated by a girl.

Trias rubbed his face. "It's my fault. This girl is Abigail, Darren's personal assistant. And yes, Abigail, this young man who attacked you is Kay."

Abigail stared at Kay flatly. "Hello, and I'm sorry I hurt you."

Kay took a deep breath. "It's humiliating. I was defeated by a girl." His his hiss while looking down for a moment.

"Hi, nice to meet you." Imbuh Kay again when her head has been lifted. He even held out his fist in exchange for a handshake.

Abigail returned Kay's fist and finally left without saying another word. In his heart he was grateful, the attack was like a training for him to increase his sensitivity to sudden attacks.
