Abigail cleaned her air rifle. One week of staying in the cabin makes him a pleasure to hunt. He benefits a lot from this. Abigail can relieve fatigue, get hunted meat and also train her ability to shoot and be patient stalking targets.
"I hope today will get a rabbit." Abigail murmured again.
Eagerly he took his backpack and rifle and left the cabin. He deliberately appeared within the reach of the forest surveillance officer's camera. Because he believes, people who are hunting him must have hacked many camera networks to get information about his whereabouts.
Abigail started walking away from the cabin. He takes a different direction every day. The sun started to sink as he left.
Two days ago he saw a rabbit burrow while monitoring his monitor. Almost a month ago, Micah had already installed cameras in the area around the foot of the mountain. So that he and Abigail easily monitor the state of the forest.
Even if Abigail is under surveillance, she needs to be careful and always vigilant. Even during sleep in the cabin he always inserts a knife. Additional weapons in addition to a gun that always accompany when he sleeps.
After nearly an hour of walking, Abigail arrived at the spot where the rabbit burrow was located. The place is darker because many trees are shady. He immediately used a thermal telescope and monitored the surroundings. The surrounding area was safe, no snakes or other ferocious beasts would bother him.
Abigail took out some small ties of grass and placed them in front of the burrow. Then he returned to his hiding place and sat quietly to wait.
The girl smiled wryly, because right now she was like that rabbit. Hiding and being in the sights of the hit man. He was sure his current whereabouts had been known and the person could come at any time.
Through his binoculars he could see the movement of a rabbit in the mouth of a burrow. The rabbit was seen sniffing but remained vigilant. Then ran towards Abigail putting down her bait. Just as the rabbit was on top of the pan, Abigail immediately opened fire.
"Because!" Abigail cleaned up her equipment and immediately approached her game animals. A fairly large rabbit is already lying lifeless on the ground.
He raised the rabbit with his left hand and smiled smirkily. "I won't have the same fate as this animal." Mumbled again.
He immediately left the place and returned to the cabin. But as he was about to reach his residence, he noticed some points of light in a more open area with a lot of grass.
"People camp?"
Abigail picked up the night binoculars after putting the game animals and their equipment down. He walked a little forward and took a safe position.
From his position and supported by adequate equipment, Abigail could see the situation around the campfire in the middle and surrounded by several tents.
"Camera?" Abigail saw someone cleaning electronic equipment. "It looks like it's equipment for filming."
The girl breathed a sigh of relief, she stood up and immediately left from there. But while picking up the bag of equipment and animal prey, Abigail heard the sound of a broken twig. He immediately pulled out a knife and put his backpack back down.
Abigail was silent for a moment, once again the sound of a branch breaking from the left. He took the gun, with the two guns Abigail moved forward. A moment later there was a flash of light, it seemed like it was coming from a cell phone flashlight. The light moved a little further from there.
Abigail frowned, she hesitated to keep checking. But he should not miss anything, even if it does not threaten his life. Abigail hid behind a big tree. He began to hear the sound of breathing.
More than one person. Abigail murmured in her heart when she realized the person who turned on the cell phone flashlight was just a cheat.
A moment later a shadow flashed swiftly around the tree where Abigail was hiding. The girl reflexes her beloved Desert Eagle and attaches the deadly object to the shadow's body. Even the knife in his left hand had almost pierced the private area of the shadow. But a moment later he felt a cold metal object stuck to his temple.
"Who are you?!" The heavy voice of a man made Abigail's heart beat quickly. Slowly he lowered the two weapons that had been raised.
"By..Darren?" Abigail was stuck, though she did not see a face, but she was very memorized by the voice of the young man.
"Abi?"
Darren was no less surprised, he immediately lowered his weapon. But quickly Abigail held Darren's hand, just then the flashlight bearer arrived.
"Abigail?" The person who was none other than Trias was surprised to see Abigail and Darren who were still in a position to carry weapons even though they were half-descended.
Triassic all put out some glow stick fruit as their lighting. As the surroundings became brighter, Abigail could easily stare at Darren's handsome face. Neither did Darren, he did not take his eyes off the girl before him.
Trias smiled faintly, he turned to leave and dropped the glow stick. Will remain the sound of a broken branch being stepped on by him makes the two people who look at each other blink and look at Trias.
"Don't go, brother." Abigail Pinta. "What are you two doing here?" Further again.
"There's filming for a single that's about to release." Darren replied as he continued to stare at Abigail.
"It can hold a gun." Abigail smiled looking at Darren's right hand.
"Yes, so I can protect myself." Once again Darren responded to Abigail's remark without letting go of his gaze.
Trias stared at the two while scratching his nape which began to itch from the bite of a forest insect. Definition of true mosquito repellent. Darren was blatantly staring with a longing glint, and Abigail who looked confused as well as timid.
"And you, what are you doing here?" Darren asked back.
"I.." Abigail was agitated.
The girl lowered her head, she closed her eyes tightly. This unexpected meeting made his focus break. He draws and exhales repeatedly to regain his focus.
Abigail steps away from Darren and Trias without answering Darren's question.
"Better you guys get back. This place is dangerous." He said as he walked towards his backpack and hunted animals.
When Abigail starts walking away from them with a backpack and a rabbit, Darren immediately picks up some glow sticks and walks after Abigail. The confused Triassic did the same.
"Pig!" Darren's trying to stop Abigail. "Don't do this to me."
Abigail did not budge, she continued walking with a chaotic mind and a tight chest.
"ABIGG!!!" Darren called back in a louder voice.
"Don't follow me!" Abigail turned around and stomped her hands in annoyance. Even the rabbit he held until it was released.
"No! I won't stop until you explain it to me! Don't leave me like this!" Darren doesn't want to lose.
Abigail did not heed Darren's words, she went back quickly to go home. Darren was getting hooked, he ran after.
"I told you not to leave me like this!" Darren catches Abigail's arm and forces the girl to stop.
"We met at an inopportune time Darren! Please understand! Unhand me!" Abigail's voice sounded choked, even like a desperate person.
The young man in front of him did not know the dilemma he was going through. How he struggles with his feelings and tries to control the situation to stay as planned. They had to get out of the forest alive.
But Abigail forgot, there are many things in this world that cannot be controlled. There are even things that can't go as we want.
His encounter with Darren was like a crushing blow to Abigail. There is no such thing as perfect, he should be able to be flexible in the face of any changes that come suddenly.
