ASSISTANT CULUN

ASSISTANT CULUN
Chapter 28. Retractable From Mission

Abigail did not expect Micah to threaten with such words. She wanted to refute her brother's words, but was afraid that Micah would actually marry her and Darren. Darren just smiled awkwardly.

Abigail's mood improved after dinner. The four talked with a light topic even occasionally heard laughter.

"Thank you, eating outdoors makes me more relaxed." Darren said sincerely to Micah.

Abigail who heard that thought, some days she was not aware of Darren's change. If remembered again, in a few days this young man was no longer angry or experiencing extreme mood changes.

It seems like the psychic burden Darren has borne has begun to decrease. Subconsciously Abigail lowered her head in a sigh of relief and smiled.

As he raised his face again, the look in his eyes met Darren's. Abigail seemed to be swept away in Darren's warm and deep gaze. His blood rippled, but he could not break the eye contact.

Triassic and Micah realized that, and both chose to ignore it. They discussed other topics without disturbing the two lovebirds who were staring at each other.

But a moment later, a drop of rain fell right on Abigail's face. Making the girl blink and immediately look up while rubbing her cheeks. Sure enough, the star that had looked beautiful adorned the sky, had now been covered.

"Let's go in, it looks like it'll be raining soon." Micah invited everyone back into the house.

Not long after that it rained heavily. Even the wind was blowing very hard. But it was only a short time, because then the rain fell in moderate intensity.

Abigail stood on a veranda directly facing the garden where they ate. He wants to examine his thoughts and feelings that have recently become strange when together or seeing Darren. He was well aware, which he felt much different when he was together or saw Morgan.

The girl took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. His hands were folded forward as if hugging his body. He began to feel cold after tens of minutes of standing up.

Suddenly he felt the softness of a cloth touching his shoulders and arms. Abigail looked to her left side and saw a blanket made of flannel had wrapped around the top of her body.

Abigail raised her face and looked at the person who was enveloping her.

"Darren." Lirih Abigail's.

Darren smiled gently. "If it's like this, you could get sick. It's too cold." He said followed by a hand that pulled in front of the blanket to wrap the front of Abigail's body properly.

"Have you been feeling warm?"

Abigail nodded faintly in response to Darren's question. But his gaze did not escape the slightest of the young man's eyes.

Darren's closing his body. He hugged Abigail from behind, not even caring if the girl would be able to hear her heartbeat.

"Is it warmer?"

Abigail blinked as she felt Darren's hand clench more tightly. He looked down at the two hands of Darren who were in his stomach.

"This blanket is enough." Abigail raised her face and turned to her left side to look back at Darren.

The young man looked up and closed his eyes for a moment. Darren took a deep breath and exhaled it violently. Then he looked back at the girl in his arms.

"The thing is, my heart also my mind says this is not enough." He turned his face closer to Abigail's.

Just as he was about to land his lips on Abigail's lips, suddenly there was the sound of people falling down accompanied by screams and objects falling to the floor.

"Adduuuuhhhhh, buttocks!!! My leg!!! Uhhhhhhhh!!!" Scream someone.

Darren and Abigail quickly distanced the body and looked back. A waiter sat on the floor holding his ass.

The woman's servant's face looked in pain. A tray and a glass were scattered not far from his body. Even a deep brown liquid littered the floor.

Abigail and Darren rushed to help the middle-aged woman. They took the servant and sat him in a chair not far from there.

"I'll get the P3K box first." Abigail said as she ran towards her room not far from there.

"Where is sick?"

Before answering Abigail's question, the maid glanced at Darren for a moment.

"My left foot, Miss."

Abigail pulled the woman's pants and checked. Then he picked up a bottle and sprayed it on the area that began to look flushed.

"The floor is slippery and you seem to be less careful, madam." Darren.

"Right Sir, I'm careless. I reflexively turned around when I saw Mr and Ms. Ber…." The waiter immediately covered his mouth with both hands.

Abigail's face faded and became increasingly red. While Darren several times cleared his throat trying to cover up his embarrassment.

Seeing the reaction of the two lovebirds, the waiter also blushed in shame. "I'm sorry, Miss. I only intend to deliver the hot chocolate that Miss requested."

"I.iya. Ti.it's okay." Abigail stand. "Come, I'll take the madam to the room. I'll continue to treat Madam there."

Abigail helped the servant to stand up.

"Ehmm, I'll call someone to clean the glass." Abigail said to Darren.

As Abigail spoke, Darren became able to clearly see the girl's face which had completely flushed red. The young man just smiled and nodded.

"He's getting adorable." Lirih Darren after Abigail and the servant walked further and further away from him.

After breakfast, Micah asks Trias and Darren to stay because there is something he will talk about.

He took a map from the top of a nightstand not far from there and gave it to Trias.

"I'm sorry, but from today on I'll pull Abigail off the mission and give her a replacement until the contract is complete." Micah said as he returned to his seat.

"What?!!!" Darren and Trias were both shocked.

"But what's the reason?" Trias looked at Micah deeply.

Micah took a deep breath before replying. "Abigail's safety is under threat. I don't want to take any chances."

Darren frowning. "I think I'm the one who's under threat. Why now does my guard need a guard too?"

"There are some important things to consider. One of them is the development of this case. The case of the death of a great politician's son was simply closed. There is no investigation as usual. The news was muted so quickly."

Trias massaged his temple, Darren's body looks limp leaning against the chair.

"Rosalin disappeared without a trace." Micah Imbuh. "He's seen Abigail's real face, it'll make it hard for my agent to keep looking after you. He'll be the main target before he kills you." Micah looked at Darren gently trying to give some understanding.

At once, Darren's head quickly lifted and looked at Abigail. His eyes looked confused and sad. Then with a look of confidence Darren turned his gaze and looked at Micah.

"I understand, it doesn't matter to me." Darren said without a doubt.

Hearing Darren's reply, Abigail's heart ached. At first he thought Darren would try to get Micah to change his decision. But it turns out he was wrong, Darren seemed to receive the news well.

Abigail looked down at her interlocking fingers. The girl even bit her lower lip withstanding the growing pain.
