Chapter 44. Sweet

Abigail stepped quietly even though she knew someone was following her. A black minivan slowly followed after Abigail came out of the minimarket not far from the apartment.

After arriving at a crossroad, Abigail did not walk directly to the building where she lived. He deliberately turned to the left away from the apartment and walked quickly. Abigail suddenly ran so fast.

The minivan door opened, some men descended and went straight after Abigail. While the vehicle was immediately tethered to gas to help the chase.

Abigail got into an alley that was impassable to vehicles and stopped at a roomy place. Right behind him, a group of men came to a stop and tried to catch their breath.

Abigail placed her groceries on top of a pile of used cardboard, then turned around and looked at the people following her one by one.

"Quickly summarily her!" The orders of one of the pursuers. And a moment later some of them came forward while removing sharp objects from behind their clothes.

Seeing that, Abigail immediately took out an iron tube from her pants pocket. He pulled the object into a stick that was not too long but very flexible. His left hand grabbed a small knife tucked in his waist. Abigail had no intention of simply knocking out her opponent this time around.

The fight ensued, Abigail's rapid movements left her attackers confused. Just a few seconds walking, began to hear screams of pain from the men.

Despite being so fast, Abigail was occasionally hit from such a difficult position given the overwhelming number of opponents. He raised his leg and kicked so hard that the man in front of him darted backwards and fell.

Abigail was silent, she set her breath with wild eyeballs scanning the surroundings. Seen some men who from the beginning deliberately did not come to attack were grinning. Apparently they set the strategy by progressing in two teams. When Abigail has shown signs of fatigue, then the second team will immediately go forward to attack.

Not long after, the second team walked quickly into the fighting area, and the first team inched back.

"Akkkhhh!!!" The backmost man from the second team suddenly shouted in pain. And then there was a fight.

Abigail used the opportunity to attack. Although he did not know who was coming, Abigail felt it was a help.

A man was aiming for Abigail's head with a baseball bat. Quickly the girl lowered her head and landed her sneers into the man's groin, making the owner of the paga roll in pain on the ground. And at the same time from the opposite direction a hand was pointed at his stomach.

Abigail resignedly, her current position was not possible for her to fend off the attack. But suddenly a hand came in just before the attacker's hand hit his body.

The girl quickly straightened up and hit the back of her other opponent very strongly. As he turned around about to attack the person behind him, Abigail was startled and held back her attack in midair.

"Darren!!!"

Darren who was also holding his fist in the air was just gnawing. "Your back!!!" Then he hit the man behind Abigail very strongly.

Due to Darren's movements hitting the attacker behind him, Abigail regained her senses and refocused. Once in a while Darren and Abigail together take down an attacker. 

And not infrequently Abigail failed to focus due to seeing the handsome face of Darren who was so masculine when both his jaws hardened with a sharp and deadly eye highlight. The girl even had to blink in order to get back to her real situation.

The two fought hand in hand over the attackers until none of them could get back on their feet.

"They, they're so strong." The sound of Trias gasping from behind made Abigail quickly twist her body.

"It looks like they're using steroids or something." A young man who follows the Triassic.

"Yes, right."

Abigail recognized the last young man, who was none other than Kay.

"I'm sorry I didn't bring a gun." Imbuh Kay while rubbing the corner of her lips slowly.

Realizing there were many wrinkles on Abigail's forehead, Trias immediately introduced the young man who was behind her.

"Abigail, meet Felix, one of my friends, Darren and Kay."

Abigail nodded and smiled at Felix. "Hello, nice to meet you."

"Hello, so do I." Felix said after a while observing the girl before him.

Abigail headed for a pile of cartons to pick up her grocery bags. He took a bottle of mineral water from the bag and drank it straight away. But only a few sips, Darren immediately seized and immediately drank water without rubbing the former lips Abigail.

Although upset, the girl was unable to do anything. He let Darren to drink first.

"Sugary." Darren said as he returned the bottle that had left a little on Abigail.

"Make me feel like this water is normal." Sahut Abigail receives a bottle from Darren's hand.

The young man smiled a nosy smile. "Maybe it's because there's a lip there." Darren's whisper was right in front of Abigail's face.

Looking at Darren who was teasing him, Abigail could only take a deep breath. "I'm tired, and don't want to argue."

Darren smiles. "Let's go home." He appealed to others. They walked to a parked car not far from there.

"Why did you not throw away your shopping bag?" Kay asked suddenly when she saw Abigail.

Abiga looked at the pouch in his hand. He did not understand why he ran away with the bag.

"Ehmm.enthus." Answer then.

Arriving near the car, Darren opens the front passenger door and asks Abigail to enter. He did not want to make the girl uncomfortable if he had to sit with another young man in the back.

"How did you find me?" Abigail asked Trias who had driven the car to leave the field.

"We almost turned into the apartment yard when we saw you turn and followed by a minivan. That's why we're coming soon." Answer Trias.

Abigail nodded her head. "That's what it looks like." Mumbled again.

Then the girl turned to look at Darren, Kay, Felix and Trias in turn. "Thank you so much for helping." He said while smiling a sincere smile.

Suddenly Darren used both of his hands to cover Abigail's face. He even squinted his eyes at Kay and Felix. Darren is not willing if his friends see Abigail's sweet smile.

"What are you doing, sir?" Abigail tries to pull Darren's hand down because it blocks her sight.

Trias chuckled amusedly, as did Felix and Kay.

"Oh Darren, it's just a smile. Can't you share it a little with us who are still alone?" Tempta Felix's.

"No way!" Darren replied with great emphasis.
