Chapter 21. A Good Day

Darren moves back to a new apartment after the attack. This time without grumbling because he was aware of the truth, all would not happen if he could be calmer in the face of pressure.

Abigail asks Micah to investigate Rosalin, as every time there is a girl around them, something bad happens.

Abigail checked every corner of the new apartment carefully. This time it was Micah who chose the apartment and suggested it to Triasaka.

"Pig."

"Hmm?"

"Trias is looking for you" Darren said as he looked at Abigail in surprise. Abigail's position of turning her back at first made Darren remember his dream before it turned scary.

Abigail walked past Darren as usual and her steps came to a halt as Darren held onto his arm.

"What's wrong?" Abigail was astonished to see Darren's hand holding her arm.

Darren did not reply, he just looked at the girl closely. And a moment later he took Abigail's hand off.

Abigail did not think much about Darren's actions, she then headed ahead to meet Trias who was apparently talking to Micah.

"Sister Trias called me?"

Trias and Micah stopped the conversation and looked at Abigail. Then the young man gave Abigail a map containing some photos of Rosalin with someone.

"Rosalin met several times with the leader of the gangster Son of***** whose emblem is a knife and skull." explained Trias.

Abigail closed the map after seeing all the photos inside.

"Why did Sister Trias show this to me?" both Abigail's eyebrows are linked.

"I think you need to know everything related to Darren's problem." Trias looked at Abigail gently. "After what we passed last night, I think you deserve to know all the risks of working with us."

"For you also know, who you should beware of." Micah added pretending not to know Abigail.

The girl smiled faintly looking at Micah. "Thank you for reminding."

"Will the special guard we asked for not be staying here? I mean the young man who helped us last night." Triassic asked Micah.

Abigail raised both eyebrows and smiled faintly, Trias thought Morgan was the sent-in guard from the agency. Micah fixed a little of the mask he used.

"He's all around you, don't worry. I give you full security guarantees. On condition that Mr. Darren is not rash anymore." Micah looked at Darren who was already standing behind Abigail making the others turn to look at Micah.

"I'm not gonna do that anymore." Darren nodded firmly and glanced at Abigail for a moment.

But it did not escape Micah's observation. The slightest expression he could see very well. Micah looked at Abigail and smiled widely unbeknownst to anyone because of the mask she was wearing.

Micah bailed to go home and Abigail offered to drive. In the elevator, Abigail took Micah's hand off.

"So? Will you have a sister-in-law?" Micah opened his mask and smiled seductively at Abigail.

"What brother-in-law?" Abigail thaws.

Micah rubbed Abigail's head slowly. "He hasn't said it?"

Abigail frowning. "He who? Saying what?"

"Darren."

"Darren's? Why is he?"

Micah looked at Abigail, from her sister's expression it was obvious Darren had not said anything to her.

"Nothing." Micah smiled faintly.

Abigail was silent, she seemed to be weighing something.

"Sister, if we use Darren as bait, how about it?"

"You want to catch the real criminals?"

Abigail nodded. "I suspect, Rosalin also had something to do with the murder case that Darren saw."

Abigail sparkled, she twisted her body to face Micah directly.

"I will follow Rosalin's activities and will finish this quickly. Can't wait to get back to Morgan."

Micah looked at Abigail with a frowning forehead. "Is this really Morgan?" Micah pointed at Abigail's left chest with his index finger.

Abigail was about to answer Micah's question, but the clanging sound of the elevator made the two come to a realization and Abigail returned to her usual attitude.

Abigail asks Triasaka and Darren for permission to leave early. As soon as he arrived at the apartment, he immediately changed his clothes and opened his disguise. Abigail wears high waist jeans and a sleeveless t-shirt that fits the body. The light blue t-shirt showed off its curves very beautifully.

Abigail even deliberately put on makeup and makeup with a smiley eye and red lipstick look. His hair that began to be long was left strung with the ends of the hair made curls.

Abigail went to a famous restaurant. Since the assault on the apartment, Micah installed a spy to follow and record all Rosalin's activities. Even the spy was ordered to report everything he saw and heard directly to Abigail's secure cell phone.

Abigail was lucky, the officer who served for the reservation chose a seat for Abigail who was right near Rosalin and a man.

Rosalin who had not realized Abigail's whereabouts stood. From his seat Abigail heard the woman saying goodbye to going to the toilet.

After Rosalin was nowhere to be seen, the man immediately sat down in front of Abigail and extended his hand.

"Brody de Lima." he introduced himself.

Abigail simply smiled sweetly without welcoming the man's helping hand. Brody pulled his hand, but he didn't look disappointed in the least.

"Waiting someone?"

"No." Abigail replied lightly.

"Ah..your voice is really beautiful. Give me your card." Brody was seen staring at Abigail with a full of puja.

"I don't want to look for a commotion and I don't want to be the target of a beautiful woman's rampage." Abigail put on a sad face.

"Who? Rosaline?" Brody waved his hand. "He wouldn't dare hurt you. He's nobody anyway."

"Nobody? But you're wearing a wedding ring." Abigail pointed at Brody's ring finger with her chin.

Brody smiled wryly. "My wife died from being killed some time ago, I just haven't had time to remove this ring."

Abigail looked at Brody with flashing eyes teasingly. "Mr Brody, go. Your woman will be back soon."

Then in a graceful style Abigail took a sip of her drink, making Brody even more sultry.

"We'll meet again." Brody glanced mischievously before returning to his seat.

As Abigail said, shortly after Brody returned, Rosalin came with a smile that never faded. During the meal, Brody occasionally steals glances at Abigail. And that made Abigail smile, her target had eaten the bait she threw.

Really good day. Abigail murmured in her heart.

Soon Brody and Rosalin leave the restaurant. In a quick motion, Brody throws his business card at Abigail's table and glances.

Abigail just smiled faintly in response to Brody. After the couple passed, he immediately picked up his special phone connected to a hidden camera mounted on the contact lens. Then saw a video recording of his conversation with Brody.

Abigail sent the video to Micah and asked to send someone to watch over the man.
