ASSISTANT CULUN

ASSISTANT CULUN
Chapter 4. Fall asleep

Abigail squirms when she hears the alarm she sets. He blinked his eyes repeatedly trying to gather his consciousness. With heavy steps he prepared to return to work.

Abigail stared repeatedly at the paper patches containing Darren Wang's schedule and habits.

"You're backing down but prestige. It's only been a few days" Abigail murmured as she pegged in front of the mirror.

After he felt better, Abigail rushed out of the agency's rented apartment and headed for Darren's residence.

It didn't take long, Abigail arrived at Darren's apartment at 06:00 a.m. As usual, he would check around first before entering.

Over the course of several days of work, Abigail always arrives before Darren wakes up. Having started memorizing the young man's habits, Abigail rushed to install hidden cameras and voice tappers at some point.

After everything was sorted out, Abigail immediately prepared Darren's equipment in the workspace.

"Amk!" Darren cleared his throat because Abigail didn't realize she was awake.

Abigail looked up in surprise, she immediately turned around and was even more surprised to see Darren's appearance, which did not show that the young man had just woken up. Pale face as well as dull and reddened eyes accompanied by dark circles under the eyes. All of this is enough to explain what happened.

"Good morning, sir." Abigail slightly bowed to pay her respects.

"Hmmm." Darren replied as he turned his body. "Tell Trias, I don't want to go anywhere today" she said, leaving Abigail and returning to her room.

Abigail rushed to pick up the phone she used specifically for the task this time. Then he called Trias and delivered Darren's message.

While waiting for the arrival of Trias, Abigail boiled water to brew jasmine tea which she would serve to Darren and Trias. Not to forget Abigail also prepared some biscuits as a complement.

"What are you doing?" darren's voice made Abigail aghast. He turned around and saw Darren sitting at the table with both hands propping his chin.

"Boiling water to brew tea, sir."

Darren looked at Abigail lazily. "Have you contacted Trias?"

Abigail nodded. "It's Master." he said again.

"I don't want to hear you call me Master" Darren said tightly.

Abigail fell silent, she thought of the right word to call Darren.

"I'll call you" Abigail said after making the choice.

"Am I that old?" Darren looks angry. "Ah stop!" he said again and left Abigail still confused.

"Morning has called for war!" hiss Abigail while throwing a washcloth that she was holding.

"Hahhh, I have to learn patience. Otherwise I'd end up being the wife of someone I don't know." complained Abigail again while stroking the chest.

The sound of steam coming out of the kettle made Abigail aware. He finally decided to stop feeling sorry for himself.

Shortly after Abigail's work was completed, the bell rang. He went to the door and checked the screen first to find out who was coming. As soon as he saw Trias' face, Abigail immediately opened the door.

"Good morning."

"Good morning, brother." Abigail shifted so that Trias could enter freely.

"Where is he?" Trias circulated the look for Darren's whereabouts.

"It looks like it's in the room."

Trias nodded and walked towards Darren's room and knocked on his door.

Abigail chose to go back to the pantry to pick up tea and biscuits. As he returned to the living room to serve drinks and snacks, Darren and Trias were talking seriously.

"Abigail, please come out first." Darren's pinta.

Abigail did not answer, she just nodded and took her bag. But he did not go far, Abigail just sat down while leaning against the front wall of the Darren apartment unit door.

He immediately took a special phone as well as earphones to steal the hearing through the eavesdroppers he had installed before.

"His face was terrible, with eyes that seemed to ask for help. It freaked me out and I couldn't go back to sleep." Darren's voice told Trias. "I have to how?"

It turned out that Darren dreamed of the murder victim, Abigail murmured inwardly.

Silent, Abigail took back the phone and fiddled with the object to get a visual display in the room because no sound was heard for a while. Until finally I heard Triassic talking.

I heard a long breath. "Well, if that's all you can do for now" said Darren, who sounded desperate.

"Then I'll find you a cure and bring her here." Trias stood next to Darren.

Abigail immediately cleaned up her equipment and stood up.

"I'm leaving first." Trias said goodbye. He looked at Abigail and smiled. "Thank you for the tea."

"Sama-sama." replied Abigail while slightly lowered her head.

After Trias entered the elevator, Abigail felt uneasy on the left side of her body. When Abigail turned her head, it turned out that Darren was looking at her sharply.

"I won't let you go home, but I don't want to see you right now either. It's up to you how to interpret my words." said Darren tightly.

Abigail fell silent, she thought for a moment before finally answering. "Then I'll wait here."

Darren just shrugged his shoulders indifferently then closed the door, leaving Abigail alone in front of his unit.

Abigail took a deep breath. He tried to dampen the emotions that began to creep up. Abigail chose to sit back on the floor and pulled out the notebook. Without having to wait for instructions from Trias, Abigail begins to reassemble Darren's schedule.

Without notice, until lunch time, Abigail was still faithful in her seat. He glanced at his watch and exhaled violently. He was forced to eat lunch outside the room because Darren had not yet given permission for him to enter.

It didn't take long for Abigail to finish her lunch. After clearing the box, he stood up and thought he would do what he could to pass the time. As he thought, the door opened quickly.

"Come in." Darren opened the door and went back in.

Abigail immediately picked up her bag and followed Darren's footsteps without making a sound. He stared hard at the young man's back.

"Sit there." again Darren gave the order while pointing to a minimalist sofa located not far from the grand piano. "Listen to this song and express your opinion" he added, sitting facing his piano and turning his back to Abigail.

Without waiting for his assistant's answer, Darren immediately pressed the piano keys and played a pop genre song that has a typical melow rhythm.

Abigail closed her eyes, Darren's music game sounded sad as well as soothing. He changed his sitting position by leaning in order to enjoy the song performed by Darren more. Unknowingly, Abigail fell asleep.

Darren plays his new song with a lot of emotion. At the end of the song, he looked back to see Abigail.

Darren was shocked to see Abigail sleeping on the sofa and not listening to the song until it was over.

Out of annoyance Darren pressed the keys repeatedly violently using his ten fingers. This made Abigail wake up from her sleep.

"I told you to come in to hear my new song and give your opinion! But you fell asleep!" Darren stood up with a gasp of breath as he held back in anger. "You better get home now!" he nodded again while pointing towards the door.

"Sorry, sir, uh sir." said Abigail nervously as she herself was surprised to find herself asleep.

"What did you call me?!" Darren's getting angry.

"Eh, sorry." said Abigail once again.

Not wanting to get emotional, Abigail immediately took the bag and left. Behind him sounded Darren who was cursing venting his frustration.

On arrival at the apartment, Abigail called Micah. This time it was round. He walked to and fro in his room while waiting for Micah to pick up his call.

"Hello." I heard Micah's voice at the end of the line.

"Hello Brother."

"What's going on? You sound lethargic. Are you sick Ai?" Micah sounded worried.

Abigail shook her head, even though she knew Micah would never be able to see that.

"I think I want to stop." Abigail put her forehead against the window of her room. "I can die of a heart attack because I'm constantly holding back my emotions."

Hearing Abigail's complaint, Micah laughed. And Micah's response made Abigail's face even more tangled.

"Are you sure? If you're sure, you'll be happy to take care of your replacement." Micah sounds happy. "And that means you...."

"No, I'll hold on." Abigail cut off Micah's speech and quickly disconnected the phone.

"No, I don't want to get married yet" she said, staring down the highway far below.
