Cannot Forgive Not Be

Ella was lying weakly on the hospital bed. His face looked pale, with a drip that stuck into his left hand. The doctor had just examined her, her stomach acid was rising, due to late eating, and too much burden on the mind. Ella let out a long sigh, her left knee hurting as it moved. As a result of the fall, his left knee was injured, as well as his left elbow that looked bruised.

"Drink again El." said Nadhira as he looked at Ella.

Ella nodded, then Nadhira took him a glass of warm tea, and helped him drink.

"I've called Mas Gilang, he said he'll be here soon with Budhe" Nadhira said as he placed his empty glass on the table.

"Yes Nad, thank you for helping me a lot" Ella said as she looked at Nadhira who was sitting next to her.

"El we are friends, there is no need to thank you like that" Nadhira said as she rubbed Ella's arm.

Shortly after, the door of the room opened. It was Vino who came. He stepped closer to Ella, and Nadhira.

"How is he doing?" vino asked Nadhira.

"It's better" replied Nadhira.

"Thank God then" said Vino.

"Thank you Vin." said Ella quietly.

"No need to thank you, we're happy to see you're fine El." Vino replied with a smile.

A few seconds later, a handsome man came into the room. His body was clad in black pants, and a long white shirt rolled up to the elbows. Ella's heart beat rapidly as she looked at the man, Kairi. What'd he come here for?

Ella turned her face away, her heart still hurting, and was disappointed at Kairi's attitude last night. Although she actually misses, and wants to throw into her arms, Ella holds back her feelings. She is a woman, obligated for her to maintain her pride. Kairi had already let go, and left him. There was no way now that Ella would shout longing, that was very much not allowed, because she was not a beggar woman of love.

"Whatever this longing may be, I must keep it to myself. She can't know, she let me go. I can't hope for her anymore." Ella's mind was biting her lips.

Kairi kept walking towards Ella. The more Kairi approached her, the faster Ella's heartbeat would be. He closed his eyes, trying to strengthen his heart so as not to melt with Kairi's charm.

"Gabriella, what happened, how are you?" kairi asked as she stood next to Ella, her face full of worry. The woman he loved so much lay weakly in the hospital because of him.

"Get out!" ella said flatly, and without turning her face away. He did not look at Kairi for a second. Not unwilling, but Ella did not dare to look at him. Just as soon as his eyes met Kairi's blue eyes, surely his defense would be destroyed right then and there.

"Gabriella, I came here to apologize. I was wrong, I misunderstood you. Please forgive me, please let me see how you are" Kairi said, staring at Ella.

"Vin, I just want to be with Nadhira" Ella told Vino.

Vino understood Ella's words, then he got up from his seat, and approached Kairi.

"We go out first" Vino said as he took Kairi away.

They walked out of the room.

"Although Ella still loves you, but she needs time to forgive you, please understand" Vino said as she patted Kairi on the shoulder.

"I'm not going to give up, I'm going to keep trying to get him back" Kairi said.

"That's great, she's happy to be with you. If you've got him later, please don't let him go again" Vino said.

"I understand, yesterday I misunderstood, and I finally made a fatal mistake" Kairi said.

"You can definitely fix your mistake" Vino said with a smile.

Meanwhile, in the room, Ella returned to shed tears. His wound grew even more gaping when he saw Kairi coming to see him. "Then why don't you forgive him?" ask Nadhira.

"He hurt me, Nad, it's impossible for me to forgive him so easily. I still have Nad's pride." replied Ella.

"We're not the same, you've held high your pride El. As for me, I have absolutely no self-respect as long as I love Andra." Nadhira said as she bit her lip.

He remembered a long time ago, when he was in a relationship with Andra. He always succumbed to Andra's selfishness. He always put his pride aside, for the sake of their relationship. But finally, now the relationship is running aground as well.

Shortly after, the door of the room opened. It turned out that Miss Halimah, and Gilang, they entered the room.

"I think Andra caused Ella, and Kairi to split up, so I beat him up. But it's not, it turns out that Kairi himself misunderstood Ella's feelings." said Vino with a grin.

"You beat him up, and he's innocent. Then isn't he mad at Vin, his face battered so?" nadhira asked as he frowned.
