Your Officemate's
64. A Deal

"I promise, when Abbey and Manda understood and Aaron got a little bigger. You can do whatever you decide is best for us."

"And if in the end you still cannot forgive me. Just tell me, let me leave this house. Not you" Hans said.

Erika thought maybe this was a good opportunity to talk. All this time he was patient and relented, the result was the same. He's wounded. Hans deserves to know what the end of this Erika thinks of Hans.

"I feel alone, like fighting against a shadow. Competing without knowing who my rivals are. The only person I expected to be able to stand by me, and help me when I fell instead allied with my opponent to lie. I feel like I'm the stupidest person in the world. Do you think this is fair to me?"

"Moms I beg you to forgive me." Hans lowered his head.

"Then he asked me to come back, and to repay him I couldn't. I still have the rest of my life to be happy by forgetting my disappointment."

"I understand. I know the direction of your conversation. And I really regret it. I'm sorry." Hans again pleaded.

"How about I kiss another guy? Are you going to take me back?" Erika frowned.

Hans was surprised, obviously he would not be able to answer. Let alone knowing Erika kissed someone else, seeing Erika talking to a man Hans already disliked. Men are sometimes selfish. They don't want their own to be touched by others, but they themselves can't control their eyes and minds.

"My heart hurts every time I see you, because it will only remind me of that woman. Coming back to you, makes me like a helpless and easily underestimated woman."

Erika and Hans were crying together. Erika did not even hold back - her tears again. Often that honesty does not give way out but only hurts both parties. Hans is hurt because he feels his hope of an apology is dashed. Erika is again hurt because she recalls how exhausting the days she struggled to uncover all of Hans's strangeness.

"If you've made up your mind, tell me. Soon we will be separated and I will explain to the children. I don't want you to be depressed when I'm with me." Hans said with a heavy heart.

"Please promise." sue Erika. Hans' lips seemed to be shaking.

"I promise." said Hans in a hoarse voice.

They were still sleeping in the same room. But Hans slept on the couch, not on Erika's side anymore. Erika has not been able to decide yet and she still remains clueless as to what her heart desires. But this is better than nothing. At least Erika had already said what she wanted to say. And also heard Hans would approve of whatever his decision was. The important thing is that whenever Erika decides, Hans will grant it.

Some wounds will heal faster if a person continues to move. There are no scars, but there is love that can erase every pain.

The next day Hans does not leave Erika alone, pensive and keeps remembering things that hurt her heart. Hans, who has made the wound, will also treat it. And the best way to show regret is by deeds.

Hans has decided to take a few days off to accompany Erika and restore the days that had been lost with the children. And children seem to understand what happens to their parents. They are really obedient and work well together, including Aaron who never once fussed.

Erika had already given up her online job completely to Kirana. Currently the focus of Hans and Erika is to please the children.

At home, they enjoy their favorite ice cream while watching their favorite movies. Aaron was left rolling - rolling on a fur carpet on the floor of the living room.

At dinner, Abbey and Manda cheered happily as Erika cooked their favorite meal. Hans thanked Erika. Abbey and Manda were very happy when Erika, holding Aaron, accompanied them to a conversation before going to bed.

Afterwards Abbey and Manda help Hans wash the car. Although they can bring to the car wash, but washing yourself is the best choice in family time like this. After all, Abbey and Manda instead of washing the car, they play water with Hans. Aaron soared - jumping in Erika's arms while occasionally shrieking in excitement. Every time the water accidentally splashed towards him, he would also giggle. It doesn't matter whether the car is washed clean or not, but the bonding that is formed between them is more important.

*Bonding is a well-established emotional bond.

"In this house, let no one make Mommy sad again." chirped Abbey when they had changed clothes and re-assembled in the middle room.

"If Mommy leaves, we definitely won't be what we are today" Manda added as she swaggered spoiled to Erika.

Hans put his ass on the sofa, he fell silent as he looked at his children.

"Already.... already, let's eat! Aren't you hungry?" Erika tries to distract the children.

"Wouldn't eat. Want to drink cold." said Abbey, pulling out her tongue. Manda immediately imitates by sticking out his tongue while stinginging - nasal. Aaron laughed gigglingly thinking Brother-sister was teasing himself.

"Mommy's got ice mixed. Who wants to?"

Erika.

"Mauuu.." replied Abbey, Manda and Hans simultaneously. Five minutes later Erika was back with a tray of four bowls of mixed ice and one glass of fruit juice for Aaron. They sat down and received their bowls. Instead they thanked Erika.

"Once, finish the ice. Don't talk anymore." said Erika while feeding Aaron.

Seeing the ice gravy running down Manda's chin, Erika took a tissue and wiped it.

"Like a little kid." Abbey told her sister.

Manda smiled shyly and looked at Erika, Abbey, Aaron and Hans. He put his ice bowl on the table, took a clean tissue and approached Hans. With that tissue she wiped Hans' mouth.

"Slow down - Daddy's meal plan. Don't be like a child" he said proudly.

Spontaneous Erika laughs amusedly at Manda's behavior.

"Mommy, don't you want to wipe for Daddy?" ask Abbey.

"Eh?"

Hans and Erika turned to each other, with indecipherable gazes.

The best gift for children is to see their parents love each other.
