Hi readers, sorry this is not crazy up 😁
Just want to share a story. This novel is dedicated to my nephew who was once a victim of abuse. Call it the Rose 😬
At that time the Rose was 14 years old, approaching 15. Puber's body is developing, and I'm sorry this pounding of mine has an oversized chest. At that time the rose was in the mosque near the house, after performing tarawih worship. Waiting for a cousin sister who is there need in the house of his friend, whose house around the mosque. Already deserted, the pilgrims have gone home only the remaining roses in the mosque. While busy waiting, suddenly an unknown person came to approach with a mode of asking the road.
"Dek, MT road. Haryono which way ya?”
"Oh, you just go straight through the road, the second turn" said Mawar while turning to point the road in question.
When he turned his head, the rose caught his breath, and the lewd father squeezed one of the Busts of the Rose and ran away as fast as lightning. The rose that was in shock over the incident was dumbfounded for a few seconds.
As soon as he realized what happened to him, the Rose shouted, "Intaaaaanann (the name of Rose's cousin sister)!!
Intan who heard the cry of his older cousin rushed over. He saw the Rose had cried, frantically asking "Lho, opo'o Mbak War?"
(Lho, what's wrong with War?)
"Come on, Tan mulih! Muliiihhh!!" hysterical Rose shouting.
It happened like that and it happened for two seconds. I don't want to say "Just like that" or "Just two seconds". Maybe for us it's just "just" or "free". But not for the rose. The incident stuck in his memory for a long time, about two years.
When Roses hear his Mother or Intan or Grandma telling the incident to other families, Roses will immediately hysterically and shut themselves in the room. The event gave trauma and psychological impact so great for the Rose. The rose is ashamed.
I made this novel because I was upset with all the rape theme novels I read on this platform. All rape victims will be married or married or married to the perpetrator. But in reality, however rich, as handsome as any perpetrator, for their victims is a scary figure. The person who traumatized him. If the victim is married to the perpetrator, of course the trauma becomes double. Studies say victims of abuse can experience huge psychological impacts such as PTSD (Post Traumatic Syndrome Disorder), depression, or even suicidal ideation. And I have seen with my own eyes, seen the Rose, my niece.
By marrying the victim to the perpetrator, it is the same as we legalize the act of abuse as long as married. I realized that the psychology of every human being is different. There are victims who want to marry the perpetrator, but in fact more who choose not to be married by the perpetrator.
Most victims feel shame, and blame themselves for being weak, for not being able to take care of themselves, for being stupid. Our job is to support victims of abuse. Support him in order to be willing to take his case to the legal path. Support him so that the victim should not feel ashamed, because the victim is innocent. The only one who should be ashamed is the doer.
Besides, I want to show the meaning of the struggle to all friends. Showing that what we or others think is bad, can actually be the best in God's eyes. Showing that we must always be sincere in carrying out the decrees of God, even though we feel heavy.
Finally, I apologize profusely if anyone feels offended by my writing. I don't mean to insinuate or blame. I am only slightly different from some of the authors who carry the theme of harassment *****l.
End of word (again), hehehe. Please support for my novel to be strong to fight until the end (already like a war, the inner reader 😆) with likes and comments.
