Missing Alden

"Sam wait."

Sam stopped stepping. He did not look at Alden, but he understood a little about Alden's intention to call him.

"We'll just talk outside." Sam codes Alden to follow him out.

The two of them decided to speak in an empty VIP room. Sam folded his hands while leaning against the wall.

"What's wrong, I don't have much time."

"I want to ask you to help me find Valen." Alden looked at Sam inside. He really hoped Sam could help him find Valen.

"Why Valen?"

"I don't know why he left. We don't have any problems."

"You sure? What was that then?" Sam squinted his eyes in confusion with Alden. Just now he saw Alden and Zoe hugging. Although Sam knows that Zoe is Alden's sister, Zoe seems to be hoping for more. Zoe's gaze on Alden clearly described everything. And Valen doesn't know Alden and Zoe's real relationship, anyway. That woman must have thought there was something between Alden and Zoe.

"Sam, if I have to kneel to you, I will, as long as you help me." beg Alden with a clear face.

Sam just saw Alden so sad. "I'll do it." "I'll go now." Sam walked to the door. He turned around again before leaving the room. "Take good care of your employer. Don't let him be like Dad." Sam said before leaving.

Sam went straight to his room. He opens the laptop and immediately tracks down Valen's parents' cell phone. Finding Valen is not a difficult matter. He can do that in a matter of minutes.

Sam gets Valen's address in an apartment on the outskirts of Jakarta. But, Sam had a bad feeling when reading the message between Valen and his Mom. There are many medical terms they use.

Who is sick? inner Sam.

Sam copied Valen's phone number quickly. He then called Alden's wife to ask about her condition.

"Hello, who is this?" the voice at the end of there sounded hoarse.

"It's Samuel Sebastian."

"Sam? How do you know I changed the number?" said Valen.

"That's not important." "Why did you run away from Alden?"

"Sam, I'm busy." Valen finally made his voice.

"Busy crying?" satire Sam. "What are you sick with?"

"Indeed I can't lie to a Samuel" came Valen's voice. "I'm not ready to tell Alden about this, because I don't know if I can survive or.." Valen did not continue his words.

"You've been critical like this, don't you intend to tell Alden??" Sam actually felt sad, because the fate of Alden's romance was so difficult.

"I told you I wanted to part with him for a while. At least until this kid and I can survive." I'm Valen who's been crying.

Sam took a long breath. He leaned back in his chair. This situation is really complicated. "Val, I don't want to scare you. But, if you don't survive, Alden can get frustrated." "Think of Alden, Val. Don't think about yourself." "Mom Alden left him too without explanation. So, you better not make Alden to regret his whole life for not being able to take care of you." said Sam.

In the next second, Sam hears only Valen's cry, and the phone is cut off.

Valen is crying again. Every time Alden remembered, he immediately wanted to cry. Undeniably, Valen misses Alden. But Valen's mind was different from Sam's. Precisely if Alden knew this disease, Valen was afraid that later Alden would be sad, angry or even disappointed in him.

Valen also did not want Alden to be too sad to lose himself if he later died.

"Val, what's wrong with you?" Esther who had just reached the apartment immediately ran to the room when she heard Valen's crying. He sat on the bed, then hugged his daughter tightly.

"Mom, what should Valen do?" asked Valen while sobbing.

"Why baby?"

"Mom, Valen dear Alden. But Valen doesn't want Alden to be sad about this disease."

"Darling, your decision is right. That man isn't looking for you either. So let it go. What matters is that you and this baby are healthy." Esther stroked Valen's stomach affectionately. Esther and Bram are angry at Alden, but they love Valen's son aka his future grandson.

Esther just needs to convince Valen that Valen is not sad anymore because he thinks about Alden. It seems Bram still disagrees if Valen continues their relationship after the matter is settled.
