"Alden, wait." shouted Valen in the Corridor.

Alden didn't shout Valen. Instead he sped up his pace so that Valen could not catch up with him.

"Oh." Valen who uses high heels sprained because of running too fast.

Hearing Valen being in pain, Alden stopped his steps. He immediately turned around and ran towards Valen who was holding on to the wall.

"What's sick, Val?" alden asked, holding Valen's hand.

"I guess you don't care about me anymore" Valen said in a sad tone.

"I always cared about you." Alden looked towards Valen's stomach.

"Then, why did you go with Milka?"

"Val, you go with Jason, too."

"Jason was just a co-worker."

"Milka is my friend."

"But you came both."

Alden smiled cynically. "Valen, you're so selfish."

"Me, selfish? Not reversed?"

The atmosphere was getting hotter as the two of them started to punch the war drums.

"Look at you." Alden grabbed Valen, then turned him to face the mirror behind Valen. "Have you ever dressed this pretty for your husband?" said Alden with a shrill tone. He did not care as several pairs of eyes stared at them.

"You're jealous of me and Milka, but I've held it back a lot longer. You go with Jason day and night. You received all of Jason's gifts with pleasure. You know, how I feel as a husband?" Alden started to explode again.

Yesterday Alden saw a lot of new electronics at home, including AC. Not to mention there are branded clothes and sneakers that cost tens of millions. Alden has been patient all this time. Today all he revealed, even though the timing was not right.

"Den, lower your voice. I'm ashamed." said Valen lirih.

"Valencia! You are thinking only of yourself." Alden looks so frustrated to handle a Valencia man.

"You've always been emotional like this. Did you forget I was pregnant?" Valen still answered Alden. He was also very upset because Alden was always angry without hearing stories from Valen.

"I never forget, Val. But, it seems like you forgot." Alden quipped. Valen's clothes always blurred the impression that she was pregnant. Valen also never took care of Alden's needs.

"You're outrageous, Den."

'PRANG' Alden hit the glass next to Valen until it broke into pieces.

Valen is pale and unable to move.

"What's this?" A tall, strapping man with a cold face approached them.

The employee who saw him immediately lowered his head at the young man.

"Alden Sebastian?" call the man again.

Alden looked at the man confused. Why does he know Alden's name?

"I'm Romeo, Cassie's husband. I'm the one who replaced Reno to take care of Dad Dimas's hotel" the man said. (Romeo's story is in the novel Married With Romeo. don't forget to stop by yaa🤭😃😆)

Alden's curiosity was answered already.

"Do you have a problem with this beautiful lady?" romeo asked as he looked at Valen who was in shock and fear.

"What's your relationship with Alden, miss?" Romeo does not care about Alden and prefers to talk to Valen.

"He's my husband" Valen replied.

"No. I don't feel like I have a wife like her." Alden stared intently at Valen.

Valen looked back at Alden in disbelief.

"So, which is right?"

"Alden, what's wrong with you?" suddenly Milka came. He immediately walked over to Alden whose hands were already bleeding.

"Come, Mil. Let's just go. We don't deserve to be in this fancy place." Alden took Milka in front of Valen's eyes.

Valen. His feet were limp and not strong anymore. She was even more shocked because Alden left with Milka! Fortunately, Romeo was quick to help Valen. He took Valen to the couch in the lobby.

"Get me some water." Romeo ordered the employees who were watching an impromptu show at the hotel.

"No need." Jason came in with Valen's bag.

He had expected this to happen.

"Jason. Why are you here too?" Romeo stood face to face with Jason.

"I'm coming with him." Jason held onto Valen's shoulder which was still trembling in fear.

"Calm down Val, I'm here" said Jason softly.

"But she's my cousin's wife." Romeo scratched his non-itchy head.

"Let me explain, Rom. We go first." Jason helped Valen to stand up. He also holds Valen's arm, keeping him from falling.

Romeo notices those who disappear behind the elevator to the parking lot. Alden's love story seems complicated. Fortunately Romeo had gone through a period of complexity in his own household and now he lives happily with his wife and child.
