Steve looked up at Alden who was driving. Alden's face made Steve think of someone. But Steve hurriedly shook his mind.

"Are you sick, sir?" ask Alden who realized that Steve daydreamed while looking at it.

"No. I was just thinking about something." said Steve with a wry smile.

"Think what?"

"Do you know where your parents are?" "I mean, your real parents?"

"Yes, my mother is dead. And I don't know where the man who dumped us both is." Alden replied in a cynical tone.

"So, your father threw you away?"

"The irresponsible man was probably ashamed because my mother was just a poor maid."

"What kind of man would be like that." Steve emo I need to hear Alden's story.

Alden responded with a smile. "It's just the past, sir. I'm sure now the man is sorry for a lifetime because he's hiding like a coward" Alden said casually.

Steve didn't say much anymore out of fear that Alden might recall his past. He focuses on files that have been opened but not read.

..."Alden, if I had a kid like you, I wouldn't have wasted you." said Steve Lirih....

"What do you say, sir?" ask Alden who didn't hear Steve's words.

"No. You'll have to walk around on my campus."

"Good."

Alden felt Steve's expression turn so sad. What did Steve think?

Everyone bowed when Steve came. Obviously they have a lot of respect for Steve as their boss. Steve walked with dignity without showing a smile.

Alden followed Steve from behind. He listened well to how Steve explained the history of the school he founded. He also told Alden some important rooms on this campus. Alden doesn't understand why Steve told him all that.

Their journey ends in Steve's private room on the top floor. Steve had a neat and very clean room. Once inside, Steve immediately sat in his seat of greatness.

"Sit down, Den." Steve ordered.

Alden sat down in front of Steve. He looked at the old man who was now busy staring at the file.

"Don't you have a secretary, sir?" ask Alden curiously.

"For what? They just make me emotional." " All I need is a boy, not a secretary" Steve replied without looking at Alden.

"You'll just get Zoe married and everything will be in order" Alden suggested.

"You know what Zoe looks like?" Steve glanced at Alden. Zoe was very unexpected. He is very free-spirited and often changes partners.

"Aren't you looking for your girlfriend's child?" ask Alden curiously. "Who knows your son."

"It has. But, I didn't find any trace of him at all." "I also don't know if he's alive or not."

Steve looked at the frame located on his desk. He then took the frame and rubbed it like the photo in front of him was real.

"Is that your girlfriend?" Can I see it?" Alden was getting curious trying to ask the frame to Steve.

But just as Steve was thrusting his frame, Alden's phone rang.

"What's up, baby? Is there a problem?"

"No. I just want to ask, is your work good?"

"Yes, my boss is very nice. Are you with Zoe?"

"Yes, we're eating."

"So, why call?"

"I just miss you, baby."

"Me too's. Miss you more, baby."

"Yes, diligent work, my dear. I'm waiting for you at home." Valen ended his call by kissing Alden on the phone.

Alden smiled at his wife's behavior. It's not usually Valen to be so considerate and spoiled. Maybe because they just got better.

"Den. We're leaving now." Steve suddenly appeared behind Alden, making the man shocked.

"Where are you, sir?"

"Riding."

Alden hurriedly put his phone in his pocket, then followed Steve's step out first.

Meanwhile at the mall, Valen just turned off his phone with Alden.

"Why Alden, Val?" asked Zoe while chewing her fries.

"Eitherway. I feel bad." Valen replied softly.

"Just relax, he's got a good boss."

"How do you know?" valen asked suspiciously.

Zoe sipped her ice with a puzzled expression. He forgot that Valen didn't know Alden was working with his father.

"And I heard your conversation." Elak Zoe.

Valen. He also began to eat the dishes that were on the table with less vigor.

"How's your relationship with Alden?"

"good. He was so considerate and made me breakfast." "The night he always rubbed my back and stomach." Valen told me with a flat expression.

"Alden cook? A burly man like that?" zoe asked in disbelief.

"Yes, he used to live alone after getting out of the Sebastian Family home." "I'm really lucky to have a husband like him." Valen smiled to himself as he recalled what Alden had done lately.

"Yes, Alden is that cool. He's also very manly." "But I support you with Jason" Zoe said excitedly.

"Zo, what's wrong with you? Why would you support me with Jason?" "My husband is Alden." Valen emphasizes Alden's words so that Zoe is conscious and no longer carries Jason's name.

Zoe pursed her lips. He looked at Valen who looked a little annoyed at his words earlier. "Sorry, Beb. Yeah.yes.. Your husband Alden and he's the coolest guy that suits you well." Zoe said.

"You're so weird, Zo.. You don't seem to accept me being with Alden." Valen said, but only inwardly. He's still not feeling well because of Alden and now Valen's mind is growing because of Zoe's strange attitude.
