Honest

Valen was quite surprised when he saw Zoe sitting on the edge of the bed holding an empty plate. That means Zoe's feeding Alden. But, why would Zoe be alone with Alden in this hospital room? What does Zoe have to do with Alden? And Valen just remembered that the one who told him Alden went into the hospital was Zoe. Why do people call Zoe when Valen is on Alden's list of emergency numbers?

Valen actually really wanted to be angry, but he paused because Valen did not have the heart to see Alden's condition was still pale. Valen had promised himself not to talk to Alden directly when he was emotional.

"Val, sorry.." Zoe who felt a cold gaze from Valen immediately took the initiative to apologize.

"You seem to be very thirsty" Valen said as he stared intensely at Alden.

"Tonight, accompany me to bed in the hospital." pinta Alden who also looked at Valen without blinking.

"As you wish, baby. I'll learn to obey you." Valen held Alden's cheek, then rubbed it gently. "Are you still sick?"

Alden shaking. "I'm not sick because you're here" she wrote. Alden shifted a little, then he patted the empty part of his bed. It was a code for Valen to get into bed. "I want to talk to our baby."

"Den, shame..There's Zoe here." Valen said.

"It's okay, baby. I'm helping you." Zoe holds Valen as Valen climbs into Alden's bed.

The bed was perfect for both of them. Alden slept facing Valen. He directly rubbed Valen's stomach gently.

"Hay, Daddy's son. What are you again?" Alden began interacting with his son.

Valen felt the baby inside his stomach move. She's not used to this yet, but she's very happy that the baby is responding to Alden.

"Honey, he's kicking around" Alden said in awe. Alden even smiled so widely as he looked directly at the movement in Valen's stomach after Valen slightly opened his shirt.

Zoe was glued to the spot watching the two people making out. He felt like a fool in the wrong place.

"Ehm. It looks like I have to go first. Get well soon, Den.." "Val, I'm back." said Zoe to Valen and Alden.

"Thanks Zo's. Be careful on the road." replied Valen. Alden doesn't seem to care much about Zoe because she's busy with the baby in Valen's stomach.

"Darling, can I talk?" asked Valen gently.

"Why Val?" Alden closes Valen's shirt, then focuses on the woman.

"So Jason went home. I've already kicked him out, but he still wants to wait for me in the living room." Valen explained honestly.

Alden was quite surprised by Valen's confession. Why is Valen suddenly talking about Jason?

"I know, Den. I'm not trying to provoke your emotions. I just want to be honest with you." Valen held Alden's hand which was much larger than his. From Alden's expression, it was certain that the man was a little emotional.

"Wouldn't a relationship work out well if it's honest with each other?" "So I want to be honest with you." "So Jason was waiting. But, when I went to the hospital, he also left. So you don't have to worry. I didn't talk to him either."

"Hmm.. and then?" Alden seemed to raise one eyebrow. He still doesn't understand Valen's story.
