Jason hung up. He was leaning against a swivel chair that looked so comfortable. Jason chuckled at the stupidity he had done. He did it all for Valen. Jason even bought a building that was not cheap by hiding from his mother. Jason thought, by being the owner of this television station, Valen would notice. But Jason was wrong.
Valencia is married. And Valen's husband isn't a playful man, even richer than Jason.
Yes, after investigating from Zoe, Jason finally found out about Alden Sebastian and how they got tied up in marriage. Alden is a rich man, but he's just an adopted son and now Alden's been kicked out of Sebastian's family.
Worth it, Valen begged to keep working.
"Night Sir.. He said, you called me?" a woman came in and faced Jason.
Jason stands. He left his swivel chair, then confronted the woman. The woman took a few steps back because she was not strong enough to get a look from Jason.
"Do you know what your mistake was?" jason asked in a polite tone.
"Well, no sir." replied the woman stammered.
"Why are you being rude to Valen? What harm?" this time Jason was more serious and showed his warrants.
"Because he's relaxed at work." he replied honestly.
"So you want a relaxing job too?" jason asked as he continued to look into the woman's eyes. "Then you don't have to work, you relax at home."
"But, sir.."
"If tomorrow you're still here, I'll drag you home myself." Jason turned around and did not want to listen to the woman's explanation anymore.
"Jason!" the typical woman's hoarse voice melnegking makes Jason's hair stand up. Jason turned. His face that was so dignified, suddenly became like a sweet child.
"Go quickly." Jason coded the person he just fired to get out of the room.
The woman bowed, then ran out without much protest. He was very scared because beside him was a negative aura emanating from a dozen bespectacled middle-aged women who were blotting their waists.
"Night, Ma." Jason moved first to hug his mother.
"Explain what this is all about" Jason's mother said without further ado.
"Jason wants to start a business in the entertainment industry, Ma."
"This time, what other woman?"
"What does mama mean?" ask Jason who pretends not to know.
"Jas, stop acting stupid." Ms. Meri was very worried about her only child. He has always been very totality in pursuing a woman. Whatever Jason's gonna do to get his attention. But, too bad, the women that Jason approached had no more feelings for Jason and just used him.
"Ma. This time Jason won't let go." Jason held onto Ms. Meri's shoulder to calm her mother. "This woman is independent and beautiful, just like Mama." "He's also from a distinguished family."
Ms. Meri softened a little because Jason lobbied her well. Ms. Meri as a single parent would have wanted Jason to have a tough woman like her.
"What's his name?" ask Ms. Meri to be curious.
"Valencia Bramantyo" Jason replied proudly.
Ms. Meri frowned. He is no stranger to the name Valencia.
"Mom knows?" Jason started to panic for fear that his mother would put a wall on Valen once he knew he was married.
"How do you know that you haven't brought her in front of Mama?"
"He's busy, Ma. Jason's gonna take Valen to Mama."
Ms. Meri nodded. "But remember, Jas. If he doesn't love you and just uses you, you better find another woman." Message from Ms. Meri. "And sell this station immediately. Help Mama at EO."
"Ma, I don't like that field."
"Mama won't argue with you anymore, and Mama's leaving."
Jason waved his hand with a smile of relief at his mother's departure. After Ms. Meri died, Jason sat back in his office chair.
Jason's current feelings are centered on only one person. Valencian. He looks depressed with Alden. Their relationship is not good. Jason has decided to stay close to Valen and will be more totality in paying attention to him and his son.
This is the craziest thing in Jason's life. He dared to approach a married woman. Jason won't take Valen, but at least he'll make sure Valen's safe and secure.
"Valen, I promise I'll take good care of you" Jason said with a smile.
