It is common to be trampled

That morning Valen woke up feeling happy. As usual, Alden had prepared breakfast for Valen. This time Alden makes pumpkin soup and garlic bread, something Valen definitely likes.

"Eat a lot, baby" Alden said as Valen sat at the dinner table.

Valen. He picked up his spoon, and quickly ate what Alden had prepared.

"You don't eat?" valen asked who saw Alden quietly while looking at him.

"I'll wait for you to eat, then just go to work."

"Oh yeah, I forgot if you're working early and coming home late."

Alden smiling. She was happy because at night, Alden could accompany Valen at home. So, their communication can be smoother and there is no misunderstanding anymore.

"Where are you planning to go today?" ask Alden to confirm Valen's schedule. Valen is a woman who can't stay home. He always works or hangs out with his friends, so Valen will be very bored if he has to be at home.

"I want to go with Zoe later in the day. Can I?"

"Of course you can, baby." Alden took out several hundred thousand bills. "Not much, but probably enough for today."

Valen received the money from Alden with a feeling of sadness. He was sad because he could not hold as much money as he used to, and sad because Alden must have worked hard to get the money.

"Looks like Zoe's gonna buy me. You don't have to worry. This is saved for our baby." Valen gave back the money Alden had given him.

"Darling.I've set aside a little for our Baby." Alden held Valen's hand on the table while wiping it.

"Den, we don't know what's going to happen in the future. Keep it. I'm not in the mood to shop anyway." Valen remained insistent on not accepting.

Alden finally gave up. He put the money back in his wallet. "alright. Have fun, baby.." "I'll go to work first." Alden decided to say goodbye to Valen. He did not forget to kiss Valen's forehead and also rubbed his stomach.

Alden has arrived at Steve's house. He went inside to meet his new employer. Steve had breakfast with Zoe. The girl looked fresh as usual. She also dressed up very pretty.

"Morning, Mister.. Miss." greet Alden kindly.

"Alden, have you had breakfast?" "Sit's fast to sit here." Steve ordered.

"Sorry Mister. I'd better just be here." Alden refused subtly. He did not want to disturb the togetherness of the father and son.

Alden nodded. He's been looking into Billy Stevenson from Google. Billy Stevenson's name turned out to be quite famous because he had several International schools in Indonesia as well as abroad. And as Steve said, his hobby is horse riding.

"Where are you going today?" steve asked as he looked at his busy son.

"Today would like to go for a walk with Valen." replied Zoe as she put her phone into the bag.

"Isn't Valen Alden's wife? Are you close to him?"

"Near Dad. Zoe already considers Valen to be her own family. Isn't that right, Den?" Zoe nudged Alden who was silent.

"Eh, yes. Right." Alden was nervous because Zoe looked at him strangely.

"By the way. Thanks yesterday. You've brought me home. You're so cool." praised Zoe as she gave her two thumbs up.

"Zoe, remember don't do that again." "You have to take care of yourself." Steve interrupts Zoe's conversation with Alden.

"Dad's so chatty." "The truth is Zoe never got scandalized or did not get pregnant right?" said Zoe origin. He forgot that there was Alden who was married by accident. Zoe's words must have pierced Alden's feelings. It was evident that the man stood up straight from his stool.

"You deliberately insinuated Valen and me?" ask Alden annoyed.

Alden was silent for a moment. He worked here for the first time. And Zoe is the son of her master. Alden would have to accept that Zoe insulted him.

"That's it. I'm used to being trampled. Just do as you please."

"Sorry Den. I'm seriously sorry." regretted Zoe. "Did Valen know if you were working with my Dad?"

Alden shook his head weakly. He'll let Valen down again if he finds out his new job is just a chauffeur. Especially the driver of his own friend's father. Valen would be embarrassed.

"Okay, I'm not gonna tell Valen. But you have to forgive me first." Zoe stretched out her little finger to make pinky promise with Alden.

Alden seemed uninterested in Zoe's childlike play.

But, basic Zoe. He took Alden's hand and hooked their pinky.

"I'll go for a walk with your wife, and please take good care of my Dad." Zoe said with a big smile.

"okay.Thanks. I have to see your father again."
