Alden felt suddenly his feelings were not good. He tried to contact Valen, but his phone was off. Is the woman sleeping? Valen has been sleeping a lot lately. Maybe she was exhausted from having to take care of a lot of housework. But, not usually Valen deactivates his phone. Or Valen's batre runs out during the walk?

Suddenly, Zoe enters the guest room and surprises Alden.

"Den, Dad's looking for you" Zoe said as she looked at Alden without blinking.

Yes, Alden is currently wearing a full suit. She also looks different because of her hair on the spike. What was clear in Zoe's eyes, Alden was so dazzling.

"I'm out first."

"Wait a minute, Den." Zoe held Alden's wrist. He approached, then his hand grabbed Alden's tie. "It looks slanted."

Alden reflexes to shake Zoe's hand. She was very uncomfortable with Zoe's treatment of acting excessively as if Alden was her lover.

Alden already knew enough the modes of women around him who often tease him. All of Alden's life, there were only 3 women who didn't like to flirt. Rea, Valen and Milka. That's why Alden can be close to them.

"Sorry, Miss. I've been waited on by Mr. Steve." Alden immediately went out and did not want to be alone in the room with Zoe.

Steve's house is getting crowded. Alden had little trouble finding the old man's whereabouts.

Alden had no idea why Steve was making the show at home and he also had no idea about the purpose of the event. Steve could have had an event at a wider hotel. But why did he choose a house to invite so many colleagues?

'COLLAPSE' someone hit Alden until his drink soaked Alden's clothes.

"Sorry" said the man. But as soon as he saw Alden, the man's expression instantly turned tense. "Why are you here?" said cynical.

"I'm at work, Om." Alden replied without taking his eyes off the man.

"Alden, where have you been?" Steve patted Alden on the shoulder. "Lho, Bram. You know Alden too?" Steve turns to Bram who looks less friendly to Alden.

"No. I accidentally hit him." Bram smiled at Steve. He had to control his emotions in front of Steve. It would be very funny if Steve canceled the cooperation that had been established only because of an Alden. "Who is he?" ask Bram curious.

"This, Alden. My favorite private driver." Steve introduced Alden to Bram.

Neither Alden nor Bram reached out. Not only was Bram busy controlling his emotions, but Alden was too. Her in-laws are so outrageous.

"Oh, driver." "Yes, it fits." said Bram with a laugh.

Alden clenched his hand. He met with Bram 2x and all those meetings gave a bad impression to Alden. First, Bram had already insulted Alden's status which was only the adopted son of a maid. Second, he insulted Alden's work.

"Yes, just be careful about accepting strangers."

"Alden, can you get me a drink back?" Instead of responding to Bram, Steve asks Alden to go get a drink. He knows that Alden doesn't like Bram, and vice versa.

After Alden died, Steve then brought Bram to sit on the sofa to chat with more comfortable.

"So, how long has he been working with you?" Bram who was still curious about Alden again asked Steve.

"Not so long ago. He's looking for a job, and I take it to work."

"You better not trust him too much." - Bram. "I see him as emotional and insolent."

Steve laughed loudly. Although Bram said 1000 of Alden's ugliness, he wouldn't be affected by it.

"I like him a lot. If only he hadn't gotten married, I'd want to match him to my son" Steve said after stopping laughing.

Bram was speechless no more. Of course everything Bram said was just random. He doesn't know Alden very well apart from his past and Alden's work at the club. To be honest, Bram was very unhappy with Alden because he had made mistakes that caused his son's life to be difficult and suffering.

"Forget about it." "I wonder, why are you making a dinner like this all of a sudden?" Bram switched the conversation unrelated to Alden.

"I'm actually hitting the jackpot."

"Is there a new partnership? With which company?" ask Bram kepo.

"This is far more valuable than cooperation with the number 1 company in the world." Steve gave the code so Bram could come a little closer. "I've found my future successor." whispered Steve.

"What???" "Is Zoe getting married?"

Steve shakes. He gave a meaningful smile to Bram.

Bram scratched his head that was not itchy. He was confused with Steve. What is more valuable to him?

Bram's phone in his pocket shook, forcing him to stop thinking. He picked up the phone from his wife after asking Steve for permission.

"Honey, Valen passed out and now we're in the hospital" Esther said in tears.

"Quiet darling. I'll be there soon." Bram hangs up, and rushes out of Steve's house.
