What a good offer

Alden and Valen have been quiet for a week. They also sleep on each other's backs. Neither Alden nor Valen wanted to start talks.

They ate together this morning. Alden prepared rice, eggplant and chayote stew for Valen. He also did not forget to make milk pregnant women for his wife who was on strike.

So far, Alden's been trying hard to show Valen that he actually cares about her.

Valen had actually followed Alden's will. He no longer gathers with his social group. Nor did he interfere in Alden's work. Valen tries to shift his mind by reading books as well as shopping online.

"Val, are you using my online account?" alden asked suspiciously.

"Yes, why?" valen replied relaxed.

"What are you shopping for so many bills?" Alden put his phone to Valen.

Valen read the bill. "New 25 million, Den."

"New 25 million?" alden's back was shocked. So lightly did he say 25 million? Alden closed his eyes trying to calm down. But, unfortunately Alden could not. "Val, I don't have this much money. My salary won't be enough to pay your bills." Alden's tone has begun to rise.

"Yes my. You work nights home in the morning, but not enough? Looks like you got the wrong place to work."

'BRAK' Jebol is Alden's defense. He returned emotion.

Valen is the son of a Bramantyo who likes to drop his pride. As a man who had struggled to make a living for the family, of course Alden felt insulted by Valen's words.

"I'm leaving and probably won't be home until tomorrow." Alden said goodbye badly. He grabbed his bag, then slammed the front door hard enough.

Valen took a deep breath. He rubbed his stomach with anxious feelings. Honestly, he was worried that their son would follow his very angry Daddy.

Valen's phone rings. Mom's calling..

This is the first time Esther has called after learning of Valen's pregnancy.

"Hello, Mom?" valen hesitated.

"See.. How are you? Mom was very worried about you." Esther's voice seemed to tremble withstanding the cry.

"Valen good mom. Alden loves Valen very much and he meets all of Valen's needs." Lying Valen. He actually did not have the heart to tell what happened to his household life together with Alden.

"Do you need money?" "Mom's gonna send you some money, huh?"

"Darling, Mom please.."

"Ester! What are you doing?!" bram's baritone voice shocked both Esther and Valen.

Esther called Valen secretly. Now they're caught by Bram.

Valen squeezes the end of his clothes for fear of confronting the resolute and unforgiving Bram.

"How does it feel to live hard? Not good, is it?" asked Bram in a tone of ridicule.

"Dad.. Why did Dad say that? Valen didn't live hard." defended Valen.

"Well, ever since you married that bastard, you've been good at lying." "Don't think Dad doesn't know your life right now."

Valen. He believes his Daddy must have had people spy on him.

"Valen's sorry, Dad, Mom." this time Valen admitted his mistake.

"Dad has a good offer for you" Bram said later. "Hate the child, and then you get divorced from Alden."

Valen wanted to shout at the evil words that came from his Daddy's mouth, but Valen's tongue was locked tightly.

"Dad and Mom will forgive you if you do what Dad says." Bram said.

Valen was silent. In fact, his heart was so happy that there was a way for Bram and Esther to forgive Valen's mistake. But, his mind said that was not true.

Valen doesn't want a wedding made like a game.

"Daddy will find you a candidate who is equal to us and also who loves you as you are." added Bram again.

"Dad.. It looks like Valen can't take Daddy's offer."

Bram's turn was silent. Actually he was eager to pull Valen away from that narrow rented house. But, he wanted to see how strong his daughter was with a man like Alden. It is not impossible if later Valen who whines wants to return home. Crucially, Valen already understands Bram's plan to change his ruined life because of Alden.

"Yes already. Just think about it."

Bram hangs up.

Valen looks back at the photo of his wedding to Alden. He thought of the reason why they could be lazy and get married. Of course the answer is because Valen loves Alden. He just can't accept the job and Alden's explosive nature. The rest, Valen likes the man as her husband, as well as the Daddy of her son later.
