As mentioned earlier, Musi Corporation, the division of Agriculture, has the trust to cultivate about 700 thousand hectares of land in Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi.
The plan of the project will be built Food Estate and as a coordinator appointed Abang Idris as the division leader.
Food estate itself is a concept of food development carried out in an integrated manner. The coverage includes agriculture, plantations and livestock in an area.
Some of the land used for this food estate project is peat land that is found in many parts of Indonesia. In addition to peatlands, this project also utilizes degraded land, especially on the islands of Sumatra and sulawesi.
This Food Estate project has even received the support of international bodies such as FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization). They hope the project will further strengthen the world's food security.
For the Indonesian government, the Food Estate project is expected to further strengthen Indonesia as the world's food barn.
The Food Estate project is expected to require huge funds, so a consortium of projects from top entrepreneurs was formed.
In addition to Musi Corporation, it also joined Mahkota Group owned by Pangiran Abdul Jalil from Brunei Darussalam and Sheikh Hashim from Qatar.
The type of food crops planned to be planted consists of rice (rice), corn, sago, tubers, and rye archipelago raya.
Gadum Nusantara Raya is the latest type of wheat findings that can grow very fertile in Indonesia.
It is targeted that the wheat harvest will mostly be sent to the middle east (jazirah arabia) as a staple food reserve in the region.
As the project spokesperson was appointed Princess Dayang Mariam, who is the son of Pangiran Abdul Jalil Brunei.
Another reason for the appointment of this spokesperson is because Putri Dayang Mariam is very fluent in Indonesian (Malay), English, Arabic, Chinese, Indian and French.
In this project, Ustadz Hanafi was appointed as a liaison between the company and the Indonesian government (ministry of agriculture) as the land owner.
Ustadz Hanafi's involvement in the Food Eatate project makes him communicate more often with Putri Dayang Mariam. The two support each other, but sometimes also argue with each other.
"Mr Hanafi, the farmers we have paid above the minimum wage" said Putri Dayang Mariam.
"So why they still have to get a guarantee of health" said Princess Dayang Mariam when Ustadz Hanafi proposed a guarantee of treatment for sick farmers.
"I agree that the farmers have earned a high salary" replied Ustadz Hanafi calmly.
"But providing health insurance has nothing to do with salaries, it's a humanitarian issue" Ustadz Hanafi said, defending farmers who will work on the Food Estate Project.
"Mr Hanafi, the project that we will run is very concerned about the value of humanity" said Putri Dayang Mariam.
"Those who are sick we give health services and their income is also quite high" said Princess Dayang Mariam again.
"Why are farmers on high salaries? So that they can pay or cover health costs when they are sick" said Putri Dayang Mariam did not want to budge.
Idris' brother who was present at the meeting could only quietly watch these two young people arguing.
Likewise, another participant, Mr. Winarto as a representative of the Ministry of Agriculture, he could only nod his head.
In his heart, Mr. Winarto murmured, Ustadz Hanafi is more worthy of being the minister of labor than a Professional Businessman.
Health insurance issues have finally found common ground. The consortium will provide guarantees of treatment to farmers, namely against diseases suffered during the work.
Such is the conversation of the team members who prepare for the Food Estate project. They try to make the rules clear and detailed.
The goal is that this project can bring benefits to the consortium, but without having to sacrifice the fate of the farmers.

Humanizing the Workers
Ustadz Hanafi's defense of farmers working in the Food Estate Project is not surprising. This is very related to the field of religious knowledge owned.
In the teachings of Islam a worker is a path for the employer (employer or company) in an effort to achieve the benefit of life.
A worker wants at least four benefits, namely to get spiritual happiness, then soul happiness, then the wages received and enjoyment of the work they live.
Related to the relationship between workers and employers (employers or companies) in the Islamic concept, can be seen from some of the following propositions:
In a hadith of Mustawrid ibn Syadad, the Prophet said:
“Whoever becomes a worker for us, let him find a wife (for him); a servant if he does not have one. If he has no place to live, he should find a place to stay (for him).
From Sahabat Abu Bakr, he said: It was told to me that the Prophet Muhammad said: “Who takes a stand other than that, then he is an outrageous or a thief.” (HR Abu Dawood).
From the above mentioned postulate, in the Islamic concept of providing wages is not just money, but there are also other guarantees of eligibility for workers.
The feasibility of life for an employee may vary from time to time. Suppose a worker whose home is far from the workplace, of course, must be considered the transportation problem.
But in essence is the employer or company, obliged to provide convenience (living feasibility) for its workers when they carry out their obligations.
In other hadiths are narrated.
From Abdullah ibn Umar, he said, The Prophet said, “Pay the wages of the workers before their sweat dries.” (CHR. Ibn Majah)
Based on the hadith, the Prophet taught his people to humanize humans.
Give rights to workers who have fulfilled their obligations. Thus the workers will feel appreciated and have an impact on increasing the enthusiasm for work.
For employers or companies that are unfair to their workers, they will become enemies of the Prophet in the Hereafter.
As the following hadith sounds:
From Abu Hurairah r.a., he said, The Prophet said,
“There are three men whom I became enemies to on the Day of Resurrection, and whom I became enemies to, and I also took a stand against on the Day of Resurrection, the one who swore in my name and denied it, someone who sells free people then he eats (money) from the price, and the person who employs workers, then the person finishes his work but is not paid his wages.” (CHR. Ibn Majah)
This is the rule of hiring someone. The employer or company is obliged to fulfill the rights of its employees.
And in return, the employee or worker also carries out his obligations to complete the work mandated to him.
The existence of mutual respect between workers and companies will have an impact on the completion of work well, and on time.
