Ara walked with Morgan until the road for public transport passed. Just like before, Ara waited for the bus at the stop along with Morgan.
Ara watched the view of Tokyo City carefully, making herself happy when since long ago she hated the crowd, so too long she locked herself in the room, when his father and mother left him for good.
Ara smiled, It's been a long time since the events of their departure. Honestly, I miss my mom and dad. If only they were still here with me, Ara's inner being, who had even become homesick with them.
Ara turned to look at Morgan, "where are we going?" ask Ara who forgot their purpose.
"To Naoki's house," Morgan replied without turning to Ara.
Soon enough, the bus they were waiting for came, breaking Ara's daydream.
Morgan looked over, "the bus has arrived. Come on," Morgan asked, making Ara nod and grabbing Morgan's hand to step onto the bus together.
The bus that Ara was riding on was always crowded. What's more, it's office hours. Many employees commute to work by public transport. Morgan was far behind, while Ara got a seat on the left side.
Looking at the place that was already full, Ara also looked towards Morgan.
"No papa, just sit down" asked Morgan before Ara finally sat in her seat now.
Ara sat on the sidelines, with the person wearing a black hat beside her. He seemed familiar with the person next to him.
The longer, the more people jostled, which made Ara become claustrophobic. He just kept quiet while watching the road, putting aside his trauma to the crowd.
But, it seemed like something was amiss with the person standing next to Ara. He constantly attached himself to Ara, just like back then, when he was harassed by striped-nose men.
Ara glared, unable to scream, out of fear that many people were after her and instead made a fuss in the general public. Not to mention Morgan's reaction which will certainly add to the atmosphere.
Ara just quietly resigned, while occasionally dodging and sliding her body next to him.
"Can you move over here?" ask the person wearing the black hat, all of a sudden.
Ara looked at him in surprise, not understanding what she wanted.
Seeing Ara's silent reaction, the person sighed, "i want to sit where you are," he muttered, making Ara understand what she meant.
I gotcha! He was trying to save me from this unwelcome man, Ara thought.
Ara nodded and prepared herself to move next door. But, Ara can't! His body was blocked with that jerk.
The kind-hearted man immediately looked towards the mysterious man who was bothering Ara, "Excuse me, my lover wants to move places," the black-hated man flatly muttered at the jerk.
The man stared harshly at the man in the hat until it frightened Ara a little.
He said, "look what you bastard!" snatch that jerk guy.
Ara just kept quiet, is there a dispute here? think Ara who doesn't understand what they're talking about in Japanese.
The man in the hat stood up and pulled Ara's hand violently. The powerless aura held back, only resigned when his hands were pulled rough, to change position to sit in the corner, where the man in the hat sat before.
"Let's die?" snatch the man's leg.
Unexpectedly, everyone looked towards him making him unable to pucker up and act arbitrarily again. He nodded and threw away his sight. Ara survived again this time.
Ara turned her head towards the man in the hat, who happened to be putting on a headset.
"Thank you" said Ara.
Ara who was a little annoyed, instantly plucked the headset from her ear.
"Thank you," cried Ara right in her ear, making herself smile thinly towards Ara.
Ara's eyes were rounded instantly, 'so sweet of her smile,' Ara's inner self felt amazed by her.
He continued his activities, reading books. Ara accidentally saw the cover of the book she was reading. The word "Ryu" was written there, making Ara nod her head, a sign that she understood.
Apparently, her name is Ryu, thought Ara.
Ara looked towards the window, letting go as far as her eyes could see. A very crowded city, but very clean.
Shortly, the bus stopped. Ryu prepared his things and stood up.
"Rij!" peekkik Ara's.
He spontaneously turned towards Ara. There was a pause per few seconds to look at her beautiful eyes.
"Thank you," said Ara, but she just fell silent, then flashed a smile at Ara.
He left Ara here. Ara's heart was suddenly sad, because Ryu did not respond to her words at all.
Morgan looked towards Ara, from a distance, and immediately approached Ara.
"It seems like someone has made a new friend" said Morgan, who sounded like an insinuation.
Morgan sat down on the chair Ryu had just left.
Ara glared in disbelief, as it turned out that Morgan was watching me from behind. Did he see the real scene? Thought Ara, who felt bad for Morgan.
"Ehhh .. no," Ara tried to hide everything from Morgan.
Thank goodness, Morgan was not aware of everything that was happening, Ara thought.
Morgan looked at Ara coldly.
"Repr ...."
Morgan suddenly grabbed Ara's shoulder, making Ara glare, so surprised at her.
"Don't you think, I didn't see it all," she sounded sharp in Ara's ears.
Ara had to swallow her saliva, as she was horrified to see Morgan's current expression.
Morgan looked at him fixedly, "the next time, if anyone harasses you, don't be quiet. Tell me," said Morgan who sounded a bit furious with the thing that had just happened.
Ara already felt guilty, because of her who had covered everything from Morgan. Ara pondered, then nodded towards Morgan.
Morgan gently stroked Ara's head, "if this were to happen, I would definitely feel that I was useless," she said, making Ara feel guilty for her.
Ara lowered her head, "when, I just don't want you to make trouble in public," Ara said, making Morgan silent, then stroking the top of Ara's head gently.
Morgan looked at her very intently, "if that was the case, I would not bother in public anymore" she said, making Ara touched and unconsciously flashed a warm smile at her.
