Chapter 10: My Red Rose

Name, Nayl. I am now 26 years old. I was in my last education at a university in Bandung. I am also a vocalist of a rock band who often perform at various events. I look like a real rocker with torn pants, a leather jacket and long hair.

But somehow, Vajria always called me 'beautiful!' Actually not only Vajria, but some people also often call me beautiful! I am not a girl at all! I'm just a real guy who tries to always look charming.

I've known Vajria for about six months. Our first meeting happened while I was doing an art show on campus while our introduction happened when my big bike broke down and Vajria asked me to ride his bike.

Since then I have been close to Vajria. She is a girl who I find beautiful and attractive. Although her appearance is fleeting like a man, but to me she is a sweet girl. She was the first girl I liked and I made her my red rose!

But Vajria prefers to call himself a guy. He wanted to and always felt like a man. That's why she also likes me because she thinks I look like a girl.

It's up to Vajria to think of me as a girl or a boy. The important thing is that he loves me and is always with me. Vajria has made me understand what it's like to be in love and I love her half to death!

I was always afraid of losing her, I could even be jealous of the girl close to her as well with the guy trying to get close to her.

Like today, I ran into a handsome guy when I was going to meet Vajria in his class. Anyone who saw it, would definitely be attracted to a guy like that! I even heard when the guy asked Vajria to Lily, Vajria's best friend.

Instantly also the alarm bell rang out loud in my mind. I immediately put my ear to listen to the conversation between the guy and Lily. I'm not really a peeper, but it's about my red roses!

"Vajria is still in her class, Vin" said Lily answering the boy's question about Vajria.

"I'll be there now!" said the guy again.

"Okay, she must have met you! You haven't seen me in a long time!"

"Surely!"

"Good luck, Alvin!"

"Thank you, Lily!"

So his name is Alvin? Looks like he's not one of the students at this college because I've never seen him before. I immediately approached Lily as Alvin passed from before her.

"Ly, who was Vajria?" ask me without further ado.

"Oh... It's Alvin. Vajria's guy!"

"Vajria anyway?! I'm Vajria's guy!"

"Oh, have you guys been together yet?" lily's question really sucks!

"Not yet, but I'm sure Vajria loves me!" answer me confidently! "If the same guy, has Vajria been in a relationship for a long time?"

"Yes, they've been close a long time! Just not officially. They used to be friends during High School and now Alvin is studying in Jakarta. But Alvin always routinely visits Vajria if there is another time off"

"Kok Vajria never told me about Alvin?!"

"What time?! You're afraid to be jealous!"

"I'm jealous!"

"You want!" I immediately left Lily and rushed towards the Vajria class. It felt like my eyes were pierced by fire and my chest was about to explode seeing how Alvin was now giving Vajria a paperbag and Vajria seemed to happily accept it.

Vajria called and asked me to have lunch with Alvin, but I turned him down on the grounds that I had band practice. I didn't want to be with them and I just wanted to follow them from a distance.

It was really painful to see that Vajria and Alvin not only ate together but they also went shopping and went home until the afternoon. Vajria never knew that I had been following him all day and saw all his closeness to Alvin.

His night with me Vajria told me that Alvin was an older class brother during High School and was also the son of his Papa coworkers who were well known by his family. I believe, Alvin does seem to come from among the people and he is a tough rival for me...

But I'm sure that Vajria only loves me! Because now he's officially asking me to be his girlfriend and I'm also accepting (although I actually asked him to shoot me)

I will always be the one to love, be with, and be loved!

But of course I can't keep quiet about Alvin! The next day when I saw Alvin reappear on campus in his fancy car, I immediately approached Alvin and asked him to speak to me for one word!

"Hey, Alvin. I'll talk to you for a second, will you?!" I said without further ado.

Alvin frowned. "You who? Did we know each other before?" tanyakanya.

"I'm Nayl! Yesterday when Vajria wanted to have lunch with you, she called me first to ask me to follow"

"Nayl's? Which Vajria yesterday called? Geez, I thought Nayl was Vajria's girlfriend!"

"No, I'm a guy and I'm Vajria's girlfriend!"

Alvin was dumbfounded as if he couldn't believe my words just now. "You, Vajria's girlfriend?! Is that true?!"

"Why?!"

"Cowok isn't as clear as you are, where Vajria's girlfriend might be! Vajria thought about it too! I'm a near-perfect person who can't handle him yet!"

"Well that's it, the guy that Vajria loves is just me. Vajria can only be happy with me! So from now on you do not have to bother or approach Vajria again! Because Vajria is Nayl's red rose!"

"That's crazy!" hiss Alvin!

"What's crazy?! The crazy one is a guy who has no self-esteem, always deketin girls even though the girl already belongs to the cave!" I started to get emotional!

"But the cave has known Vajria for a long time!" Alvin is emotional too!

"It means nothing that Lo knew Vajria for a long time because now he belongs to the cave! Now you get out of here and take that Lo luxury car away! Get rid of the red rose of the cave!"

"Okay, Nayl! Look at it later! If the cave can not dapetin Vajria, then Lo will also not be able to be with him! The cave has access to the Vajria family! Gua will tell Papa and his brother that Vajria doesn't deserve to be in touch with a guy not obviously like Lo!"

Alvin left the campus parking area by slamming his car door in front of me! But my guts don't squeak one bit! I will never take a step back even to defend my red rose!
