Rio was shocked not to be upset when he woke up to find blood spots stuck to his thigh skin. Our bodies stuck overnight without changing position. I still feel so comfortable in Rio's arms even though my stomach hurts a little.
I ignored the pain until this morning when the blood soaked my sensitive part. Rio patted my cheek. Trying to wake me up who still doesn't realize something is threatening the safety of my fetus.
"Umi woke up ... wake up darling," he said in a worried tone.
"Emmmmm ... Is it morning, Bi?" I asked innocently still not realizing anything.
"Umi-Umi, don't move much, dear" he said as he watched me start writhing around my body that b*gil was still in bed.
"Sir, why is your face so worried?" I asked after peeking at his face while trying to open my eyes.
"You're not okay, honey. You seem to be bleeding" she explained with a swab of my forehead.
"Blooding?" I immediately glanced at my lower body. Right, the bloodstains are not a little stuck almost all over my thighs.
"Abi, how's this?" Anxiety and panic began to come over me.
I'm so scared. Afraid of losing my baby. Unable to hold back fear, tears just fell down my cheeks.
Rio moved from his place and hugged me. A friendly kiss perched on the tip of my tub. He tried to calm me down even though anxiety was running over him.
"Calm down, Abi will take Umi to the doctor. Abi will help Umi get ready. Don't move much, honey," he said again which was then offset by helping me wear clothes.
Rio again carried me down the stairs. There was panic downstairs too. For the father-in-law saw the red ink piercing the cloth that wrapped my body.
"What's up, kid? What's going on?" his love for Rio while following Rio's carefree steps towards the car.
"Pray that nothing bad will happen. Rio's taking Indy to the doctor. Indy's bleeding" my husband told his father.
"alright. Be careful on the road, you'll be waiting for you at home." My in-law's face looked pias saw me who had to go back to see a doctor with a worrisome condition.
Ten minutes Rio was splitting the streets with his car and we were finally able to get to the clinic. Rio immediately brought me inside. Screaming as loud as possible to call the medical personnel who are on guard in the morning like this.
The doctor came with the nurse. Rio moved away from my sight as the doctor examined my condition.
"Fetal heart rate still exists. But it's quite weak" the doctor explained after a fetal heartbeat detector he attached it to my stomach.
"Alhamdulillah," said Rio lirih.
"No, I'm not doing any strenuous activities. I don't feel stressed either" I replied confidently.
"Wait, does having sex affect the fetus to cause this kind of effect doctor? Honestly, we had an intimate relationship last night. And this morning my wife's bleeding pretty much." Rio vividly told that sensitive thing without awkwardly to the doctor.
"Well, maybe that's the cause. I recommend not to do it too often or if you can not do it during the early trimester of pregnancy. Because at a young gestational age is very susceptible to fetal miscarriage." The doctor explained it in detail to me and Rio.
The doctor gave me a new prescription. Because right now my body is quite weak. I'm grateful that my baby can still be saved. And I will make sure, there will be no more carelessness that will threaten his life again.
"Can I fast for four months?" ask me when we're on our way home.
"For the sake of you and my hero, I can't touch you." Rio was steady with his decision. I'm glad to hear that. For surely he will not whine anymore asking for a steady ration on me.
Arriving home, I saw the father-in-law still waiting on the porch. It's only natural that he was so worried, that I was his first grandchild. Which of course will be his heir as well as the successor of his generation.
"How are you doing, son?" the question immediately greeted me as soon as this foot peered on the terrace floor.
"Mr don't worry. Indy and dede baby are fine." I smiled so that my pias-in-law's face would fade.
"Alhamdulillah, I am very worried. Come on Rio, bring Indy in. He has to rest a lot." Rio was holding me. Bring me back into the room.
The spray that was covered with blood stains has now been replaced with a new one. The smell of the firefly welcomed my nostrils when the bedroom door was opened.
But suddenly .. huek, huek, huek. My stomach repels the scent of this fragrance. I used to love the smell of orange in my room.
"Umi ... Umi is okay?" asked my husband after driving me to the bathroom.
"Our room is very fragrant. Umi doesn't like it" I said as I washed my mouth.
"alright. Don't come out before Abi tells Umi to get out of here. Wait a minute, honey." My husband left me right away.
And what did he do? Rio opened the wide window of the room. Carry a fan and rotate it tightly to drive away the fragrance that fills the room.
Ten minutes it was felt that the fragrance had disappeared. Rio told me to get out of the bathroom.
"Umi, come out sweetheart. The room no longer smells" he said from the bathroom door.
I took out a little bit of my face, rather my nose to sniff out the scent I hated. Right, it's gone. I don't smell that scent anymore. Now I can get out feeling safe.
