Three Character Girl
Ant Acid 2

In the afternoon he went into the room and Rani followed him. As he climbed the stairs, he held my arm and relayed his commands.

"Don't change clothes first. Turn off the lights and put Rani down here." Rani according. I found him waiting for me. With a gesture of commissioner Saga, the Rani was silent. We crawled silently along the wings of the children's room. Ronald occupies his own small room. We entered and took a position in the darkest corner. Ronald's breathing sounded heavy. He was not disturbed by our presence. "He slept well, right?" whispered Rani and commissioner Saga nodded.

"Dibius," he whispered.

"Why?" ask the astonished Rani.

"so that he does not shout that - "

"If what?" Rani demands an answer seeing commissioner Saga stop her words.

"If you get injected, buddy! Quiescent. We don't talk anymore - I hope something happens in a while."

***

This time commissioner Saga was mistaken. Almost ten minutes passed, then the door opened slowly and someone entered. I heard the snorting of hunting breaths and steps towards the bed. Suddenly a sound was heard

 "click".

A beam of small electric lanterns shone on the boy - the holder still invisible in the shadows of darkness.

The figure put down the lantern. With his right hand he pulled out a syringe; his left hand touched Ronald's neck Along with Rani and commissioner Saga jumped. The little lantern rolled on the floor and we struggled in the dark. His strength is truly extraordinary. We finally beat him too.

"Lamp. Rani has to see her face - even if Rani is sure that she knows her face well" commissioner Saga said.

"So do I," thought Rani as she fumbled, looking for the lantern.

For a moment Rani had suspected Hugo's secretary, influenced by my dislike for him. But now Rani is convinced that the man who wants to benefit from the deaths of her two young cousins is the insane person we're following in her footsteps. Rani's feet kicked the lantern.

Rani picked up the thing and lit it. It was shining full on the face - Hugo Lemesurier, the boy's father!

"No way!" whispered Rani raucous.

"No way!"

Lemesurier was unconscious. We leaned him into his room and laid him on his bed.commissioner Saga bowed. He carefully removed something from Hugo's right hand. He showed it to Rani. Syringe. Rani was horrified.

"What's it" Poison?"

"Atombs acid, I guess."

"Atric acid?"

"Yes. Probably obtained by filtering ants. He's a chemist, you remember" Death will be associated with bee stings."

"Yes, Lord," Rani said.

"Himself! And you've expected it?" commissioner Saga nodded sadly.

"Yes. Of course he's crazy. I thought that family history had made him insane. His strong desire to inherit the family's land prompted him to commit a series of criminal acts

It was possible that this thought first came to his mind when he traveled north with Vincent. He could not accept that the curse would not be proven. Ronald's son is gone and Ronald himself is facing death - people who have bad luck.

The arranging of death by rifle - which I had not suspected until now - was the planned death of his brother, John, in the same way as injecting ant acid into the veins of the neck. Thus his ambition came true and he became the master of many acres of family land.

But, the cheers of his victory did not live long because he found himself suffering from an untreatable disease. And a crazy idea arose - Lemesurier's eldest son would not be the heir.

I think the accident while bathing in the sea was on her end - she pushed Ronald too far into the middle. Fail. Then he cut the plants.

"Cruel!" rani whispered while shivering in horror.

"And it was planned so neatly!"

"Rubber, Dude. Nothing is more surprising than the idea of a madman! Or, the eccentric attitude of a sane person is incredible! I think he's been acting out of bounds lately. There's a cause for his madness."

"I remember I suspected Roger - that good young man."

"That's natural, buddy. We know, he was also with Vincent on the trip that night. We know, he's the heir after Hugo and his two children. But reality does not support our assumptions. The creeping plant was cut off when only Ronald was home - but Roger would have wanted the two children dead. Similarly, only Ronald's food was poisoned. And at the time, I knew only Ronald's father would say his son was stung by a bee. I've seen other people die from bee stings - which is why I've come to understand all this."

A few months later Hugo Lemesurier died in a private psychiatric hospital, where he lived after the events of that night. The following year, his widow remarried to John Gardiner, the red-haired secretary. Ronald inherits his father's vast estate and continues to develop it.

"Well, well," Rani told Saga's commissioner.

"Reliminate another misleading view. You managed to defeat the curse of the Lemesurier family resoundingly."

"I wondered for myself" said commissioner Saga seriously.

"Truly, I wondered to myself."

"What do you mean?"

"Buddy, I answer your question with one keyword - 'red'!"

"Blood?" I was suspicious, so my voice only sounded as a whisper.

"Your imagination is always sensational, Rani! What I'm talking about is something that's not so terrible - Ronald Lemesurier's hair color!" sighing, Rani put down her savings book.

"Surprisingly" said Rani

"my account balance in the bank never increased a bit."

"That makes you nervous! Jesus, Rani! If I had it, I wouldn't have been able to sleep all night."

"Your financial balance is quite balanced, yes," commented Rani spicy.

"Four hundred and forty-four pounds, forty-four pennies," the commissioner of Saga reported in a pleased tone to himself.

"Nice, isn't it?"

"That must be your bank manager's discretion. He certainly knows your pleasure in symmetrical details. How about we plant, say, three hundred dollars for the Procupine oilfield" Ads of various newspapers today say they'll pay a hundred percent share profit next year."

"Not if I am" said commissioner Saga, shaking his head.

"I don't like anything sensational. Make me a savings equal to a careful planting of les rentes - savings for old age - what's your term" - conversion."

"You ever make a speculative investment?"

"No, my friend," he replied reluctantly.

"Would never be. The only stock I had, that was without any risk, was fourteen thousand pounds in Burma Mines Ltd." commissioner Saga paused his word briefly, waiting for me to ask him to continue his story.

"Yes?" i'm urgent.

"And that stock I got without paying a dime - it was in return for my brain work. Want to hear the story, huh?"

"Of course I will."
