Three Character Girl

Three Character Girl
Disappearance of the Cook

"Rani's sister said that the cook, who was as valuable as the jewel, left on Wednesday and did not return. So, he left yesterday." Commissioner Saga continued.

"Yes, that's her free day!" exclaimed madam Todd who suddenly appeared. Rani, commissioner of Saga and Annie are shocked by the sudden appearance of the woman in their conversation.

"Madame, it's possible that Elly had an accident. Have you been looking for him in the hospital?" guess Rani kept listening to the woman's story.

"Exactly. That's what I thought yesterday. But this morning he told people to take his suitcase. And there's not a word for me! Had I been home at the time, I wouldn't have let her suitcase be taken away - treat me that way! Though I just went to the butcher." explained the madam.

"Can you describe the cook?" ask the curious commissioner Saga.

He was middle-aged, big and strong, his black hair had already started to whiten very respectably. For ten years he was my cook. Her name is Elly Dina." replied the woman.

"Are you not - not at odds with him that Wednesday?" ask Rani full of search.

"No. And this is what makes everything so strange." replied the woman.

"How many people are your servants, Madame?" ask the curious commissioner Saga.

"The cook and the waiter who cleaned the house, her name was Annie, she was a very pleasant girl, a little forgetful, and her mind was filled with young men" she replied.

"But the work is good" he continued, staring at Commissioner Saga.

"Has he and the cook been on good terms?" ask Rani who keeps listening.

"Their relationship has its ups and downs, of course. But overall very good." replied the woman.

"And the girl can't explain this mystery?" ask commissioner Saga.

"He said no, but you know how the waiter was when they used to conspire" the woman replied.

"Then it's okay, we have to make sure of this. Where do you live, Madame?" ask Commissioner Saga.

"At Clapham. Prince Albert Road number 88." replied the woman

"If we may know, what is your name?" asked the curious Rani earlier..

"Call Mrs Todd" replied the woman, staring at Rani.

"Well, Mrs Todd, then I'll come to your house this afternoon" commissioner Saga said, extending his hand.

"Alright, I really hope for your work. See You!" mrs Todd exclaimed as she replied to Commissioner Saga's hand and continued with Rani.

After that Mrs Todd stepped foot left the room of Commissioner Saga where there was Rani who was with her husband, Commissioner Saga.

"Saga Saga! It seems that what we are dealing with is a new case. The disappearance of the cook from Clapham!" rani exclaims after Mrs Todd is really not with them..

"Really! Don't let our friend Inspector Alex hear it!" reply Exclamation Commissioner Saga

Then Rani and Commissioner Saga left for Clapham on a sport bike where she was shaken by her husband..

Prince Albert Road is where small, neat houses line up. All houses are exactly the same, with neatly lacy curtains adorning windows and a polished brass knocker glittering across the door.

"Tin....Kegs....!"

Rani rang the bell of the house and the door was opened by a neat and ayu female servant. Mrs Todd shows up and greets them.

"Don't go out first, Annie," exclaimed. Mrs Todd.

"They're cops who want to question you. You better get inside first." continued Mrs Todd.

Annie's face showed an inner contradiction between fear and joy. Then she turned her body and stepped out of the master and she returned to her room.

"Thank you, Madame," said commissioner Saga as he spread his views around.

"We'd like to ask your waiter right now alone, if that's allowed" Rani said kindly.

"Oh, of course!" replied Lady Todd and they were then ushered into a small sitting room.

After Mrs Todd who was clearly seen reluctantly left the room, commissioners Saga and Rani began to ask carefully.

"May we know what your name is?" ask Rani who started making small talk.

"Annie sir and mistress." replied the waiter who was kindly.

"Well Miss Annie everything you're going to tell us is very important. Only you can give evidence of this. And without your help I can't do anything" said Commissioner Saga who stared at the waiter.

Worry disappeared from the girl's face and excitement became more apparent.

"Surely, sir!" said Annie.

"I'll tell you everything I know about the missing cook, she's Elly Dina" continued Annie, who looked up at the handsome commissioner Saga with a sparkle

"Hm, Elly Dina. Good," said commissioner Saga who gave his approval.

"Well, first of all, what do you think personally because you're an incredibly smart girl. Looks once! What do you think about Elly's disappearance?" ask commissioner Saga who is still staring at the waiter.

Having gotten a boost, Annie's answer flowed smoothly with gusto.

"People who trick girls into being prostitutes under the pretext of being given jobs, sir. From the moment I said that, Elly always reminded me to be careful of them not to smell her perfume or eat the candy she gave, no matter how polite the young man was. That was Elly's advice to me. Now they have managed to trick him! I'm sure of this." the waiter explained with worry.

"Maybe Elly was sent to Turkey or to one of the regions in the East, where according to what I heard, her people liked fat women!" continue Annie while taking a deep breath and taking it out slowly.

"But if and if this really happened, would he tell someone to take his suitcase?" asked Rani who had been listening to them.

"I don't know, madam. Elly might need her stuff, even in such a foreign place" Annie replied.

"Who has come to pick up his suitcase, is it a man?"ask the curious Saga commissarais.

"Carter Paterson, sir." replied Annie.

"You're the one who packed the suitcase?" asked Rani who scrunched her eyebrows together.

"ah! How intriguing. Then when she left the house on Wednesday, Elly decided not to return. That's right, miss, isn't it?" ask commissioner Saga.

"Right, sir." replied Annie who looked slightly dumbfounded.

"I haven't thought about it all this time. But, it's possible that the girls' impostors aren't they, sir?" continued Annie who added with concern.
