"Well how?" ask the curious Rani.
"I also went to the address he gave me to the lawyers. And true, a tiny house and allowance of three hundred pounds a year.
Little is known about these lawyers. They had just received a letter from a man in London, asking that they hand over the house and the hundred and fifty pounds for the first six months to me." Elly Dina told me.
"What about your belongings that are still left in your former employer's house? And how did Miss Todd react to you?" ask the curious Rani.
"Mr Crotchet sent my things, but there was not a letter from Mrs Todd. I guess the Madam was angry and envious with a hint of my luck. The madam also held my suitcase and sent my clothes in a paper package. Even so, had the Madam never received my letter, of course the Madam thought I was a bit outrageous." replied Elly Dina, Rani and commissioner Saga listened to the long story attentively.
Then they looked at each other and nodded their heads, as if they were completely satisfied.
"Thank you, Miss Elly Dina. As you said, there is a bit of irregularity. Let us take charge of your difficulties" said Commissioner Saga, who was given an envelope.
"Are you going back to Cumberland soon?" ask Elly Dina.
"Yes, please excuse me!" said farewell Elly Dina while greeting Ranibdan commissioner Saga alternately.
After the departure of Elly Dina, Commissioner Saga and Rani leave the room. They want to have lunch together.
"Saga Saga! there is no defeat for this case!" exciting Rani.
"You're my wife, I'll call Inspector Alex!" exclaimed Commissioner Saga who fiddled with his phone while stepping foot into their motorcycle parking lot.
"Sir Saga, where are we going?" ask the curious Rani.
"First of all we will have lunch first, after that go to Prince Albert Road address number 88, Clapham" replied commissioner Saga.
"So, are we going there?" asked Rani who knitted her eyebrows while looking at her husband with curiosity.
"Yes, it's true. Although, frankly, I'm afraid we're too late. Our fugitive may have flown, dear." replied Commissioner Saga while giving Rani a helmet and Rani received it.
"Who are we hunting?" asked Ranibuang curiously.
"Simpson didn't attract that attention" Commissioner Saga replied, commenting on his smile.
"What...!" rani was very surprised.
"Hey, sweetheart! Don't you that all this isn't clear to you!" whispered commissioner Saga who started his motorcycle.
"The cook was put away, I realized that" said Rani a little irritated.
"But why would Simpson want to get him out of there? Does the cook know anything about him?" ask the curious Rani.
"I don't think in the slightest he knows." replied Commissioner Saga.
"Well how?" rani asked while twitching her eyebrows.
"Simpson wanted something that belonged to the cook" Commissioner Saga said.
"What's Money? The Australian heritage?" ask Rani who is trying to guess.
"No darling! something very different!" replied Commissioner Saga who paused for a moment.
Rani turned to her husband, apparently the statement of commissioner Saga sounds so fantastic that Rani guessed that her husband, was teasing her.
But commissioner Saga's face was really grim and solemn.
"Of course he can buy a suitcase if he needs it" Rani said, thinking.
"He doesn't want a new suitcase, my dear. What he wanted was a suitcase that had good origins. The suitcase is a clearly respectable person." Commissioner Saga explained.
"Wait, Saga!" rani who looked at her husband sharply.
"absolutely outrageous. Saga sister you're playing me!" rani shouted a little furious.
Commissioner Saga replied by looking at Rani sharply.
"Sad you don't have Simpson's thoughts and imagination. You see, Wednesday evening Simpson persuaded the cook to leave. Business cards and printed paper are easy to get. He was willing to pay one hundred and fifty pounds following the cost of a one-year home rental to ensure the success of his plan. Elly Dina did not recognize him with a slightly colonial-colored beard, hat, and accent completely outwitted Elly Dina. That's the end of Wednesday, except for the trivial fact that Simpson has taken the securities worth fifty thousand pounds." explained Commissioner Saga, but Rani was still in doubt.
"The simpson? isn't that Davis?" ask Rani.
"If only you would let me continue speaking, Ran! Simpson knew that the theft would be known by Thursday afternoon. That day he was absent, but he lied by saying that he was waiting for Davis when he came out for lunch. Perhaps Simpson confessed to stealing and promised to return the securities to Davis - after all, Simpson managed to take Davis with him to Clapham. That day the maid-free day and Mrs Todd was at the sales stand. So, no one was home. When the heist is discovered and Davis disappears, Davis is the thief! Simpson is completely safe and can work again the next day as an honest employee, as people expect." explained Commissioner Saga.
"And Davis?" ask Rani. Commissioner Saga made an expressive gesture and shook his head slowly.
"That sounds too horrible to believe. However, other explanations are possible. The only difficulty for the killer was to dispose of the corpse. And Simpson had planned this a long time before" Commissioner Saga explained.
Rani is immediately fixated on the fact that even though Elly Dina clearly meant to go back the night she came out and she remembers her remarks about the peach setup, her suitcase was already packed when it was taken.
It was Simpson who sent a letter to Carter Paterson to stop by Friday and Simpson also packed the suitcase Thursday afternoon. Suspicion of what might arise from a maid leaving the house and sending someone to pick up her suitcase.
The suitcase has been labeled and addressed in his name, perhaps to a train station already reached in London. Saturday afternoon Simpson, in his disguise as an Australian, claimed the suitcase, pasted a new label, and addressed it and sent it back elsewhere, again with a note 'please let it go'.
When the authorities were suspicious and reasonable enough to open the suitcase, there was no information linking it to Prince Albert Road number 88.
"ah! we've arrived!" commissioner Saga exclaimed when he stopped the speed of his motorcycle and both got off the motorcycle.
Then commissioner Saga asked the security guard in front of Mrs Todd's house, and found out that Simpson had not been in the mansion for two days.
Commissioner Saga's guess is correct. Simpson left the house two days ago. However, he did not escape the consequences of his criminal actions.
