The Murder Case of ll
"Davidson hesitated, he glanced at Lord Cronshaw at a glance, and finally pulled the two back into the dining room." - Inspector Alex.
"However, all Davidson's efforts to show Lord Cronshaw and Miss Courtenay were in vain. So he hailed a taxi and accompanied Miss Courtenay, now sobbing, back to her flat" Commissioner Saga said.

"Wait for me, otherwise I won't be able to find you in that crowd of people!" as Cronshaw spoke, Cronshaw turned around and left the balcony.
Captain Digby, who was at the time with Mrs Davidson, waited below. Minutes passed, but Lord Cronshaw did not appear. Digby was impatient.
"Did he think we'd be waiting for him all night?" digby.
"Just at that moment Mrs Mallaby approached the two and she was told what had happened" Digby said.
"Well!" the beautiful widow was full of spirit.
"Tonight Cronshaw was like a headache bear. Come on, let's find her and pull her out." continued Ms. Mallaby.
The search began, but in vain until it occurred to Mrs Mallaby that perhaps Cronshaw could be found in the room where they had dinner one hour ago.

"Well," Inspector Alex said again.

The next day this murder made headlines in all the newspapers, and there was also the brief news that Miss Courtenay, the famous actress, was, he was found lifeless in his bed and his death was caused by cocaine exceeding the dose. Was his death caused by an accident or suicide? Her female servant, who came to testify, admitted that Miss Courtenay was a drug addict. "Well, this is the case. What do you think?" ask Inspector Alex.
"Oh, here." replied Inspector Alex, taking a small object from his pocket and handing it to commissioner Saga.
A tassel made of emerald green silk with a few strands of thread dangled, as if it had been roughly pulled from its place.
"This we found clasped tightly in Cronshaw's hand" Inspector Alex said.
Commissioner Saga returned the tassel without giving any comment.
"Does Lord Cronshaw have enemies?" ask Commissioner Saga.
"No, as long as people know. Looks like he's liked by a lot of people." replied Inspector Alex.
"Who benefits from his death?" ask Rani.
"His uncle, His Highness Beltane, will inherit the title and the land. There is little suspicious information about this deceased uncle. Some said they heard a heated argument in the small dining room, and Beltane was one of them. You know, a dinner knife taken from a table is suitable for carrying out a murder at the height of an altercation." explains Inspector Alex.
"What does Beltane say about this?" ask Rani.

"There's a curtain in that little dining room, isn't there?" ask Rani.
