Three Character Girl
The Murder Case of ll

"Davidson hesitated, he glanced at Lord Cronshaw at a glance, and finally pulled the two back into the dining room." - Inspector Alex.

"However, all Davidson's efforts to show Lord Cronshaw and Miss Courtenay were in vain. So he hailed a taxi and accompanied Miss Courtenay, now sobbing, back to her flat" Commissioner Saga said.

"The woman was clearly confused, but she did not reveal her secret to Davidson. Only, he repeatedly said that he would 'make the old-fashioned Cronch regret this incident!'" said Inspector Alex.

"This is the only clue that the woman's death may not have been an ordinary accident and her body was valuable enough to be dug up again" Rani said.

"By the time Davidson managed to calm Miss Courtenay down a bit, it was too late for her to return to Colossus Hall. So, the actor went straight home to his flat in Chelsea. His wife, who reached home some time later, brought news of the terrible tragedy that occurred after her husband left Colossus Hall." the story of Inspector Alex.

"It seems Lord Cronshaw got grim during the dance. He distanced himself from his group and they barely saw him again for the rest of the night. At about 01:30, just before the height of the dance, that is when everyone had to take off their masks, Captain Digby, an officer who knew the Cronshaw disguise, seeing the viscount standing on the balcony staring down, towards the couples who were dancing." continued Inspector Alex.

FLASHBACK TO :

"Hello, Cronch," call Digby.

"Come down and join us. What makes you mope like an owl up there? Come on, there's gonna be a fun old game soon." Digby added

"Well," Cronshaw said.

"Wait for me, otherwise I won't be able to find you in that crowd of people!" as Cronshaw spoke, Cronshaw turned around and left the balcony.

Captain Digby, who was at the time with Mrs Davidson, waited below. Minutes passed, but Lord Cronshaw did not appear. Digby was impatient.

"Did he think we'd be waiting for him all night?" digby.

"Just at that moment Mrs Mallaby approached the two and she was told what had happened" Digby said.

"Well!" the beautiful widow was full of spirit.

"Tonight Cronshaw was like a headache bear. Come on, let's find her and pull her out." continued Ms. Mallaby.

The search began, but in vain until it occurred to Mrs Mallaby that perhaps Cronshaw could be found in the room where they had dinner one hour ago.

FLASHBACK OFF :

"The three swung their steps there. And how surprising the view they saw. No doubt, Harlequin was in the room, but he was lying on the floor with a dinner knife stuck in his heart!" said Inspector Alex who then stopped, and commissioner Saga nodded her head,

"Good case! And there's no sign of who the killer was!" exclamation Commissioner Saga.

"How should the clue exist?" ask the curious Rani.

"Well," Inspector Alex said again.

"You know the next story. Double tragedy. The next day this murder made headlines in all the newspapers, and there was also the brief news that Miss Courtenay, the famous actress, was, he was found lifeless in his bed and his death was caused by cocaine exceeding the dose. Was his death caused by an accident or suicide? Her female servant, who came to testify, admitted that Miss Courtenay was a drug addict. We again concluded that the death was just an ordinary accident. However, we cannot help but consider the possibility of suicide. In particular, the actress' death was unfortunate as it closed the opportunity to get a clue about the cause of the late altercation with Lord Cronshaw that occurred the night before. O, yes, a small box made of e-mail was found on the body of Lord Cronshaw. At the top of the box was written Coco's name in a diamond inlay. Half the box contained cocaine. Ms Courtenay's maid recognized the item as belonging to her employer, who almost always carried the box everywhere because it contained a stockpile of drugs that had enslaved her" Inspector Alex explained.

"Is Lord Cronshaw himself a drug addict?" ask Rani.

"Cannot be. He strongly opposes the use of sedatives." commissioner Saga replied with a nod in thought.

"But, since the box was in Cronshaw's hands, it meant that he knew that Miss Courtenay was using the dope. Does that make sense, Inspector?" ask Rani.

"Well, this is the case. What do you think?" ask Inspector Alex.

"Oh, here." replied Inspector Alex, taking a small object from his pocket and handing it to commissioner Saga.

A tassel made of emerald green silk with a few strands of thread dangled, as if it had been roughly pulled from its place.

"This we found clasped tightly in Cronshaw's hand" Inspector Alex said.

Commissioner Saga returned the tassel without giving any comment.

"Does Lord Cronshaw have enemies?" ask Commissioner Saga.

"No, as long as people know. Looks like he's liked by a lot of people." replied Inspector Alex.

"Who benefits from his death?" ask Rani.

"His uncle, His Highness Beltane, will inherit the title and the land. There is little suspicious information about this deceased uncle. Some said they heard a heated argument in the small dining room, and Beltane was one of them. You know, a dinner knife taken from a table is suitable for carrying out a murder at the height of an altercation." explains Inspector Alex.

"What does Beltane say about this?" ask Rani.

"She explained that a waiter was drunk and she was rebuking him. After all, it was one in the morning, not half in two. Captain Digby's testimony was completely timely. His conversation with Cronshaw and the discovery of the body only differed in about ten minutes." explained Inspector Alex.

"As Punchinello, I think Beltane is wearing a hump and a wrinkled outfit, right?" ask commissioner Saga.

"I don't know the exact details of the costumes" inspector Alex said, staring at commissioner Saga with curious eyes.

"At any rate, I don't know what that has to do with the costumes." 8 inspector Alex continued.

"Don't know?" ask commissioner Saga.

There was ridicule in Commissioner Saga's smile, and calmly Inspector Alex continued the conversation.

"There's a curtain in that little dining room, isn't there?" ask Rani.

"Indeed, but.." replied Inspector Alex who stopped thinking.

"With the room behind the curtain wide enough to hide someone" said Rani.
