I went out to call the driver and the man I had told me to wait outside.
"Come sir, the things are in the room" I said, pointing to my room first. The two men came in following my orders.
"What the fuck?! Both my in-laws and Heni looked confused.
"Cabinets, mattresses, shoe racks, tv racks are all transported, sir," I said without caring about my in-laws and Heni who was still glaring in disbelief. I told you I'd take care of this stuff someday, and now's the time.
"Heh, you can't be careless in this house. Those things are mine. You can't take him away!"
"Who said? Me and Handi bought it? How could it belong to mother?!"
"Don't overdo you Emma! The room was already in my mother-in-law's room" said Heni slowly. His hand gripped my hand, like it was threatening me. She did not dare to show her anger towards me because there was her mother-in-law here.
"Then why? That's your mother-in-law, not my father-in-law. Just give me your stuff, not mine!"
I approached Heni's in-laws and I shook hands with him.
"Sorry, I haven't met you yet. I'm Emma. I am the former daughter-in-law of this house. I'm sorry I took everything in your room, it's all mine."
Heni's in-laws looked confused. Many times he turned to Heni looking for an explanation but Heni did not dwell.
"Sir, in the closet there are clothes, do you want to be transported all?" ask the driver.
"No sir, take out the closet, it's not my clothes."
"Where's Ma'am put it?"
I looked at Heni. "You want to put where your in-laws' clothes are?" my many. Heni just glared not answering.
"Don't touch anything in the closet!" snapped Heni but I didn't heed it.
"Put it on the floor, sir, or where it's up to you. The important thing is that the closet is being transported" I replied. That guy just did my orders. I told them before that there might be a fight, but I explained the situation.
Heni and her in-laws immediately ran into the room after hearing my answer. While my in-laws walked over to me.
"You did this on purpose? You deliberately want to humiliate me?!" my in-laws.
"No! I just took my stuff. If you feel humiliated, it's not my fault. Isn't your boss a rich man anyway? When do rich people want used things?!"
I did it all on purpose. Indeed, the items I took from them were nothing compared to the ones they took from me. I purposely did it so that they would remember me until later after I left their lives. I don't want to go well. I want to upset them, I deliberately make trouble, I want to make a fuss. I purposely made this house a mess. Yep! I did it on purpose!
"Why didn't you ask Heni to buy you a house? Why take the house that was supposed to belong to Damar? If Heni's husband is rich he should be able to buy Heni a house. Don't you just stay here?!"
My in-laws are sniffing at my words.
"Why? You think I don't know if your son-in-law is poorer than me?! Even though mom was arrogant to go and fro showing off her rich daughter-in-law, it turns out that she has nothing?! Mom said what's Heni's husband's job? Successful entrepreneurs? Have company? Successful businessman why hitchhiking at home in-laws?!" I took out what had been holding me back all this time.
"So your mouth is a wild woman!"
My two men are almost done hauling my things.
"That's my bed sheet, don't take it!" I heard Heni screaming for the bed sheet still attached to the mattress to be returned.
"It's his shoes how's Mommy?" ask the driver.
"Take everything out, sir, just put it away. Just take the shelf because the shoes don't have me either!" Heni ran to pick up his shoes as soon as I heard my words.
"It's just Hen's shoe rack, it's cheap. Such an item is trivial. Your rich husband can definitely buy her!" sindirku again.
"Shut up!!!" shout Heni. He seems frustrated with me.
"Why angry? Your husband is really rich, right?!" I said while chuckling. I really enjoy this.
The more frustrated he is, the happier I become and the more I continue to infatuate their lives. I won't let them feel good after they mess up my life. I should have started working and moved on with my life. But because of their greed I was forced to cancel the employment contract that I should have started and start all over again.
Actually I could have rented a boarding room, but it would have added to the expenses because I also had to pay a nanny for Damar. If I go to work, with that much spending, is the rest of my salary enough for daily needs? Different story if I do not need to spend money to pay the boarding money.
"There's more Mommy?" ask the driver.
"Ad. Follow me sir." The driver and his friend followed right behind me. "That's sir ... The stove is the same as the gas canisters," I said as I pointed at the stove. Both men did my orders.
Meanwhile, I rummaged through the kitchen set looking for bottles of drinking and food that his brand is quite famous among mothers. I remember buying those things. I will not leave any of my belongings in this house, even if they are worthless I will carry them. Not because of its value, but because I'm happy to do it. I'm happy to piss them off. If they had asked well, I would have given it. But from the beginning they were wrong.
"Please bring this along." I handed over some bottles and food to my man. " Wait a minute sir, I have to say goodbye to my husband's family."
"Good Ma'am."
I went back to the family room. My in-laws look pale while Heni is busy picking up her shoes. Her in-laws must also be busy picking up her clothes.
"Your path! Only the stove and the bottle were brought!" said in-law.
"Early I lived here mom's stove was broken. Then me and Sandy bought it. Do you remember that?"
My in-laws are holding her head. Looks like his hypertensiveness is crumbling again. "Heni ... !!!" My in-laws screamed for her favorite daughter.
"What's wrong, Mom?! I'm putting my shoes on!"
"Call Hasan or Aaron! This wild woman is making my mother's headaches recur again!"
"Take the cure Hen, didn't your mother just come home from the hospital? Your brother must have no time to come here!" I'm used to the drama of sudden headaches, so already memorize which ones are really the headaches of which ones to pretend.
