The Substitute

The Substitute
Raininess

Ozan is looking for Ameera. A dozen times the man tried to call his wife's number, but was not answered, until finally he could not be contacted again.

Ozan was panicking. Strange thoughts about Ameera began to pop into his mind. He paced in the living room, staring at the screen of his phone.

Ameera where? Dina said she's been home since. But why haven't we reached home yet? starches. Ozan.

He went to his room to get his jacket and car keys. He decided to go find Ameera. Ozan picks up the phone and calls Ramon.

"Hello, Ram. Have your hackers track down Ameera's whereabouts. He hasn't come home until now. His number is off." Ozan ordered that he was already in the car. He drove his car to find Ameera.

"You go where Ameera is, why your number isn't active." Ozan was getting panicked.

He glanced at the clock on his wrist. Already showed at 8 pm .

O Allah. It's like this hour. You where she is. Outside the night itself is dangerous.

Ozan suddenly remembers his father's house. Maybe Ameera's there. Ozan immediately turned his car towards Ameera's old house. It didn't take long for Ozan to get to Ameera's house. He drives a car like an evil person.

He arrived at the courtyard of Ameera's house. The atmosphere of the house is still exactly the same as it used to be when Ameera and her father were still in the house.

The house is now only inhabited by Bu Yani and his son who is still in school.

"Mom, is Ameera here?" ozan asked shortly after the middle-aged woman opened the door.

"Ameera hasn't been here since returning from Turkey Ms Yani replied.

Ozan's face panicked. I don't know where else to look for Ameera.

"Is there any friend of Ameera that she often meets?"ask again.

"Ameera's friend is only Rangga, as far as Mother knows, she has no other friends anymore" replied Bu Yani.

"So where's Ameera?" ozan muttered.

"Is there a problem with Ameera? It's not usually that he leaves without news." Ms. Yani was panicking.

"I don't know either, Mom... It was fine before going to college."

"Where is he going?"

Ozan was getting frustrated, "Mom, if Ameera comes here please tell me, yeah! I'm gonna go find Ameera first!"

"Yes. Be careful" said Bu Yani. " If there's anything with Ameera, let me know, yeah..."

"Yes, Mom..." Ozan immediately drove his car out of the house. While occasionally trying to call Ameera's number. Still not active. Ozan is panicking.

His eyes glanced here and there along every road that passed through him. He had ordered Ramon and his men to search for Ameera. No matter where they look for it. All he wanted was to find Ameera as soon as possible in one piece.

Rain falls with lightning. Ozan's panic was already unstoppable. It feels like he's almost crazy looking for Ameera's whereabouts.

"Where are you, Ameera. How about you get rained out there. "the murmur is full of panic.

His heart was about to stop beating now. Cellphone rings. Ramon's name was on Ozan's phone screen.

"Hello, Ram! How's it?"

"Where's lu?" ramon Tanoa asked Ozan.

"According to the person I am, Ameera's last location was in a city park. You try to find it there. You know there really is."

Ozan threw his phone into the passenger seat next to him. He drove the car very fast in the rain. Before long, he was in the park.

Ozan got out of the car without caring about the heavy rain. It surrounds a vast park in search of Ameera.

"Ameeraaaaa....!" The sound of his screams calling Ameera's name was heard amid the torrent of rain. He had several times shouted the name Ameera, but there was no sign of Ameera's existence.

He went back to look for Ameera in every corner of the city park whose lighting was limited because there were only a few garden lights that lit up.

Ozan wandered around for a long time until his eyes caught the figure of a woman sitting on a park chair. He was sure it was Ameera by looking at the clothes she was wearing was the clothes the ameera had been wearing when she left for college.

Ameera seemed to have been trembling withstanding the cold that was gnawing at her body. Ozan immediately approached and grabbed his shivering body.

"Darling... What are you doing here at night,"

Because of the cold Ameera could no longer answer his question.

"We're home, yeah, your body's cold."

Ozan immediately carried Ameera to a car parked in front of the park. He sat Ameera in the front passenger seat.

Ameera's body was already trembling. Ozan took off Ameera's shirt and put on his jacket from the back seat. Ozan immediately drove the car to his house.

Ozan takes his cell phone and contacts the person at home to prepare warm water for Ameera to take a bath.

****

Ozan was hugging Ameera who was asleep under a thick blanket. Sometimes he showered Ameera's face with kisses. The worry that had taken hold of his heart had not completely disappeared.

For the second time he felt the same fear, as when Ameera was lost in a pine forest.

Given all the events, it would be like he locked Ameera in the house so as not to go anywhere.

"Don't worry me like that anymore. I almost went crazy looking for you "whispered in Ameera's sleeping ear.

Early morning....

Ameera opened her eyes. As usual, when he woke up from his sleep, he would find Ozan hugging him. Ameera looked at Ozan's sleeping face. She stroked her husband's face until Ozan woke up to feel Ameera's hand exploring his face.

"Dear, what's wrong with you? Can't sleep, can you?" ask Ozan.

Ameera simply replied with a shake. Ozan hugged him immediately.

"Don't make me worry like that again, yeah. I'm almost crazy looking for you" Ozan whispered in Ameera's ear. A few moments later, Ozan let go of his embrace.

Ameera was still looking at Ozan's face. But this time his eyes were different. Ameera's eyelids began to fill with clear fluid, but she held it back from spilling.

"Darling, are you having any problems? Why are you crying?" Ozan stroked Ameera's face gently and kissed her forehead, "What's wrong? Tell me..."

Ameera remained silent, not answering Ozan's question. One thing Ameera realized was that she had failed to fortify her heart.

Ameera felt betrayed by her own heart. How he tried to build a fortress in his heart so as not to let the name Ozan engraved in it. But without him knowing Ozan has entered and mastered his heart. And the harsh reality is, Ozan doesn't have the same feelings as him.

Why this has to happen to me. Ozanku... Is he going to leave me now? Naura has returned to him. I'm really pathetic.
