The Substitute

The Substitute
Who is barbaric

"Ozan, that's your face why?" asked Zarima on the sidelines of lunch when he saw the face of the ozan slightly bruised. Ozan rubbed his right cheek. Glancing at Ameera with the tail of her eyes, made Ameera bow in shame.

"It's okay, Mah. There was a cockroach in the room, I wanted to catch it but it was attacked" Ozan said, staring intently at Ameera.

Ameera who got a sharp look also felt like her body was split into two parts.

Ozan who does not want his silly behavior to be discovered by his mother. As he kissed Ameera on the forehead, the girl woke up and gave him a boxing gift.

"Huh? A timing? If it's just a cockroach why is your cheek getting bruised like that?" asked Zarima, he felt the bluish face of Ozan.

"The prayer is bar-bar mah" said Ozan to quip Ameera.

"Ohuk. uhuk..." Ameera wanted food to hear Ozan's words. In a hurry he took a drink in front of him.

"Eh, eat it slowly son. " said Zarima, patting Ameera on the back.

"Eat him if you want to eat pray first." ledek Ozan, but the tease sounded annoyed.

Ameera's face was red. Zarima looked at Ozan and Ameera in turn. Finally the middle-aged woman came to her own conclusion.

"Oh, I know now!" he said while nodding his head, "Ozan, right mama has told you not to force that Ameera is not ready. You must be this barbaric, until your face becomes like that right. "accuse Zarima who suspects Ozan forced Ameera to ask for rations and ended with bruises on his face.

Ozan also did not accept the allegations made against him. She even craved food in shock to hear her mother's accusation.

"Well, it's not like that!" he said as he patted his chest that was hurting because he wanted food.

If I explain to my mom the reason is that I'm laughing. It's ridiculous. Though what I kissed my wife's own forehead, why does it feel like this disgrace. Inner Ozan

"You don't have a lot of excuses" Zarima snapped, "Ameera, you don't want Ozan to force you. Especially if he's just pounding on you." Zarima's direct words at the core made Ameera and Ozan's faces red.

Ameera wanted to hide her face under the table.

"Mama... Why am I accused of barbarism?" ozan did not accept.

"Yes, it must be you, right? Ameera couldn't have done that to you if you hadn't forced it. "

Irritated, Ozan nudges Ameera's foot under the table. Ameera did not want to lose, the girl replied by kicking Ozan's leg. Until they got into the action of kicking under the table.

"That's you starting again, Ozan? " ask Zarima when he sees Ozan's strange gurgle.

"What's wrong, I just kissed him on the forehead this morning, because he didn't wake up. Gini really kissed his own wife's forehead, like he had committed the most historic criminal act of all time." Ozan was joking, fiery with annoyance and feeling cornered.

Instead of being concerned about her son's fate, Zarima laughed out loud that the sound of laughter filled the room.

Don't ask Ameera's face, which has been flushed like boiled shrimp.

That's right, my mom will laugh at me. Watch out for you Ameera! Ozan's mind is getting upset.

And lunch continues with an eye war between Ameera and Ozan. While a laughable smile continued to adorn Zarima's face.

"Mama, I'm going to Dad's grave. What can?" asked Ameera who came to her mother-in-law who was watching television in the family room.

"May, but it must be between Ozan, yes." replied Zarima gently.

"It's nothing mah. I'll go alone, Brother Ozan is sleeping..."

"Loh, don't call brother donk, call mas let's be romantic, hehe"

Not that it sounds more strange, when the Caucasian I called Mas. It does not fit. Inner Ameera.

"Yes mah" he said, smiling forcefully. "Well, thank you, you prepared everything for me. Mom gave me a lot of stuff. Mama must be bothered, huh? " said Ameera recalled in her big closet full of nice clothes and branded. Which is definitely very expensive.

"You sit here first. Wait for Ozan to wake up.

Ozan is taking a nap not long. "

Ameera sat beside Zarima, and they chatted at length until Ozan came to them.

Dina was in the living room at Rangga's house. He and Aliyah, Rangga's mother was chatting casually while drinks and snacks in front of him. Rangga came out of his room, then sat down beside Dina.

Rangga then scrambled Dina's hair, making Dina pursed her lips while tidying back her messy hair because it was random.

"What the hell are you. It's messy with my hair" said Dina.

"Sorry..."

Aliyah smiled at the interaction of Rangga and Dina, she then decided to let them talk together.

"Mama stay first." said Aliyah then left Rangga and Dina in the living room.

"I'm sorry, Din. I must have talked a no-no last night." said Rangga.

"No. I I'm I'm okay. You don't talk much either."

Rangga grabbed Dina's hand and held it. He breathed a long breath.

"Next week I'm going abroad, taking care of my college application. Maybe I'll be back long."

Dina. A feeling of sadness was clearly reflected on his face.

"Didn't you not want to study abroad yesterday? Papa you're in jail, right? No one is forcing you to study abroad."

"I want to start a new life, Din. Looking for a new mood. If I stay here, I won't be able to forget Ameera. I can leave in relief now. Because nothing else threatens Ameera's safety." Rangga leaned his head on the chair.

"So, you don't think of me?"

Rangga closed his eyes. Breathe in deeply.

"Din, I've only hurt your heart all this time. You hold on even if you know how my heart is. I feel like I'm the most evil human being in the universe."

Dina looked down, her feelings were very broken. But after all this was his choice to remain beside Rangga. Although he knew, he was only made a barrier between Rangga da Ameera. Rangga pretends to love Dina in front of Ameera, so that Ameera does not cultivate more feelings for Rangga.

"I'm not giving up Rangga. Will you promise me one thing?" dina Pinta.

"What?"

"One day you can forget your love for Ameera. Do not seek another love. I'm the only one who can be next to you."

Rangga smiled. Still holding Dina's hand.

"I promise, Din. But if that day really happened, where I could forget Ameera. You'll be my only temple back."

A drop of Dina's tears fell down her cheek. He rested his head on Rangga's shoulder. All this time only Rangga's shoulders can be owned. So that leaning on Rangga's shoulder becomes opium for him.

In the corner was the eye of a mother who was shedding tears. Aliyah looked at Rangga and Dina who were both slumped because of excessive love. They were injured but he could do nothing for the two of them. Although Rangga and Dina are teenagers, they are very mature. If in the life of a teenager there is only the love of monkeys, in contrast to Rangga and Dina, whose love is deep but full of sacrifice.

The one who was most hurt was Dina. He had been waiting for Rangga for two years. But not one bit of Rangga's heart was open for him.
