Chapter 63: The End
"It will be over if you feel so.." - Luna-Luna.
"Mother..." Arsya was the first to approach the Goddess.
"Archina..." The goddess almost cried when her son touched her hand. There was a sense of haru that was gushing in his chest. A sense of happiness but also with sadness envelops it. He stroked the head of Arsya dear, his most tender-hearted son. His son is the most sensitive and always attentive.
"Mother where have you been? Why not go home?" Arsya's question made the Goddess' throat choked.
"Emm..." The goddess took a breath and slammed at him several times. After a minute passed he was still doing the same thing, until finally Luna pulled Mother Goddess closer to Arya's place.
"Already, Sya... What matters is that you are here..." Luna mediates.
A moment the Goddess was grateful. I don't know, he feels stupid. He didn't know where he was all this time, where his little heart was and where his common sense was. Luna is such a sweet and nice girl, but there is no love and affection she has ever given to that child. For the first time, he gave his most sincere smile that he had ever addressed to Luna for 18 years. For a moment, he stroked Luna's head. Just seconds. A second, which to Luna, was precious. A second that makes himself finally real in front of Mother. A moment that made him feel loved. A second that made him finally feel that he was part of the family, if the blood flowing in their bodies was the same. A second that gave her the recognition that they were mother and son.
All eyes saw the Goddess and Luna. I don't know what the other heads were thinking, but, for Arga, this was an unusual thing. Arga walked over. She felt, Mother had opened her heart to her brother. And he felt, if he could do the same for Mother. Mother did make a mistake, but anyway, they needed Mother, and she was sure that Mother felt the same way. Everyone can make mistakes, and it is for this reason that the word 'sorry' is created.
"Mother..." Arga gave his regards. The goddess felt her heart which had been crowded with longing, burst forth instantly. He let the longing overflow. Fucked Arga's forehead, his first baby with Hendra. Hugged him for a moment before he stroked his head slowly and released Arga from the crib.
The warmth given by the Goddess made Arga lose her hatred. Granted, the disappointment was there, but more than that, he could feel an abundance of affection.
Actually, all this time, Arga and Arka knew where Mother was. In fact, Arga felt that Dad knew this too. Once upon a time, he wanted to ask his father if they should ask Mother back. But, Arga's voice seemed lost, as he saw Father begin to put away their wedding photos. Arka pulled Arga away, feeling they should not have watched the moment from behind the door secretly. Fathers need time to be alone, and they don't feel the need to interfere in that.
"Do you take good care of your sister?" The goddess asked raucously. The water had pooled in the woman's soft eyes, desperately trying to resist the strangling taste. "I'm sorry, Mother has troubled you..." He had the head of Arga. To him, not quite once, he had already endured longs for so long.
Arga smiled bitterly. "It's not as good as Mother is looking after us." she replied slowly. The goddess turned her head towards Arya, but before going there, she saw Arka who glanced at her several times. The kid always seems to care less, but he's actually just as attentive as Arsya.
"Carcinium..." The goddess kissed slowly on the right cheek of her second son. Arka's face immediately met with red. She did not expect her mother to do that.
"Mother-mother..." Arka blushed in embarrassment as she rubbed her cheeks. "I'm not a kid anymore..." Arka decided to give up on acting like a bitch and then followed by greeting the Goddess.
"Did you keep playing games all day? Stop for a moment, take pity on your eyes..." Hearing Mother's advice, Arka kept the phone that had been grasped earlier in her pocket. For Arka, Mommy is a chatty figure who always advises her to keep a cell phone. But, he prefers to be scolded by Mother than her crazy brother. Arga was a little brash when ruling, not because of what, but because it was sometimes accompanied by physical contact such as an anxious pinch that made Arka shudder amused. Horrifically. She feels like Mother is better.
"Don't keep playing, learn sometimes..." The goddess rubbed Arka's head while looking at her deeply. "Mother knows you're a good child, then Mommy hopes you can be smart too..." The Goddess put on a smile that Arka could not refute, she was only able to nod obediently.
After finishing with her second son, the Goddess walked over towards Arya. Hendra's father reflexively took a step back as Mother Goddess approached. Not obvious, but felt. The heart of the Goddess paled for a moment, but she covered it with a faint smile.
Slowly, the Goddess escaped her hand on Arya's forehead, stroking the head of her youngest son. Arya who had previously slept soundly, woke up for a while, then smiled widely to find her Mother was already in front of her.
"Mother..." His complaint. Arya moved her lips, pouting in annoyance while sulking spoiled. "Mother where have you been? Why did it take so long to get home?"
The goddess continued to caress Arya's head while looking at her gently. "Not anywhere... Mother is always in Aryan's heart..."
"Mother's love is always there. But Arya also misses being hugged by Mother..."
The goddess turned her face away for a moment, trying to keep Arya from seeing her tears. He cried, and a tear had come down beyond his power. After finishing wiping away as fast as lightning, the Goddess looked back at Arya gently. "I'm sorry, if you work a long time..." He stroked Arya's head again, trying to calm down.
"For a long time..."
"Sorry baby..." The goddess kissed Arya's forehead gently. "But now you're here, so you need to get well soon... Don't be sick anymore... Mother's child must be strong..."
Arya nodded in spirit. "Yes, Bun... Arya promises to heal quickly, we will go home together, yes! Mother made a favorite fried rice Arya yes..." Arya spoke with sparkling eyes, making the heart of the Goddess melt. He bit his lips tight before speaking.
"Yes, get well soon, baby... Mommy will make it at home..." Mother's words made Arya calm. And before long, he fell asleep again.
The goddess turned her body, the rest of the one she had yet to greet. Daddyh. The goddess inhaled a lot of breath before finally being able to stare directly at those two shady eyeballs. The figure of the man who became his life companion so far. Truly his FRIEND, who was always there when he was happy or sad, held his hand when it was difficult and gave his shoulder when he was tired. People who love him unconditionally or without reason.
"Go home..."
The goddess did not believe what she heard. That one word alone came out from the man who did not budge at all in front of him.
Go home...
The goddess took one step back. He nodded slowly without any intention of raising his face. In fact, his presence here is not part of the hope of his heart.
"Wait!" Luna pulled out her mother's hand before the woman went any further. "I mean you're coming home, right?" Luna asked to make sure. "Right, Dad?" Luna asked once again, in a higher tone, expecting an answer or just a nod.
The goddess strengthened her heart. Clenching his hands as tightly as he could then raised his face, looking straight at the man, waiting for an answer. The result he got in fact was that the figure was staring straight ahead, not at him. Silence, no moving or talking. Time passed without anyone willing to give up on issuing his ego, whether in the form of sound or action. There is only perfect silence.
Luna looked at Father and Mother in turn. He's out of words. "Haha.. That must be so, Mother..." Luna forced her smile. He could not just see his mother languish, nor could he force his father to answer.
"Come, Luna between Mothers take Mother's belongings, we go home together..." He doesn't know what will happen after this. But Luna thought maybe Father and Mother still need time to be able to sit together and talk from heart to heart. Clearly, now is not the time.
Luna held Mommy, half pulling a hand that she had never held so tightly before. "I'm taking Mommy. Later Daddy and Mommy can talk again well at home..." Luna reassured Mother.
The goddess smiled faintly seeing Luna trying so hard. He pulled Luna into his arms, then kissed Luna's forehead for a moment. Once again, Luna felt that today was a dream. The love that he longed for, he finally got in this moment.
"Thank you dear..." Luna melted to hear Mother's affection for the first time. Not that he did not love El, but this was a luxury that even he did not dare to dream of. "Thank you very much..." The goddess stroked Luna's head and smiled at her. "Yeah, we're home..." The goddess let go of her embrace and then took Luna walking side by side.
It did not take long for them to get to the rented house of the Goddess. As she opened the door, the Goddess seemed to remember something.
"Oh, yes... Can you buy food for your brothers? Mother does not want to come empty-handed..." The goddess reached into her pocket and gave Luna some money. "Buy Mommy food too, Mommy hungry." Luna nodded in understanding. "You can get ice cream if you want" he said with a smile.
"Ready, Bun..."
"Be careful, yeah..." Mother waved at Luna who walked away.
The goddess opened the door of her room and then went inside and locked the door. He sat behind the door, then cried.
With tears still streaming over her gaze, the Goddess scrambled her belongings, retrieving a paper and a pen from there. She shifted to her bed, there was something she had to do before she started writing.
"Ash...." The goddess grimaced a little after making a mark on her wrist. Fresh blood flowed from there. Not caring about the warm red liquid, Dewi picked up the pen and began to write.
