Chapter 43: A piece of past memory

"Maybe God has indeed linked our destiny from the beginning." - El-El.

"Mami told you you have to be careful!" Mami yelled in annoyance at the little boy in front of her. The seven-year-old boy did not answer, he just looked down in silence feeling guilty. He looked at the small pebble at the end of his foot. He played it slowly.

"El just wanna try skateboarding, mi..." The raising of his lips pouted, making El's mother no longer able to anger to see the priesthood of his youngest son.

"If this is the case, mommy would rather you be a lazy child than a bad boy..." Mami pulled little El to sit on an empty chair near them.

"Sit down here, you'll be back soon. Mami wants to see you scolded." He saw the right hand of his son who used the brace. Don't forget the bandages on his feet and the plaster on the cute face of his favorite child. Ah, he wanted to scream annoyed.

Indeed, he had El play outside, trying to socialize with his peers. But there is even this child following a teenager playing skateboard. Unmitigated, El immediately tried the flying style to jump over the existing garden chairs in their housing complex. Of course you can guess what happened next.

El sat sweetly on the chair while her mother turned her head in search of her husband's whereabouts. Why so long? He began to hide.

"Mi, it's still a long time?" El was getting bored.

"Wait a minute, son.." Mami stroked her head slowly.

"I'm gonna take a walk." El looked around. The hospital garden looked beautiful with some shady trees. The weather was still cool this morning.

Mami nodded at a glance, feeling quite safe because the large garden was still within reach of the eye. But her name is a mother's instinct, her eyes keep an eye on El. She saw El approaching a nun who was carrying a baby in her hand. He seemed interested in the baby. Mami decided to come closer and look at it as well. Is it possible that El actually wants to have another sister?

"Male or female?" ask the nurse who was holding the baby.

The woman in the white uniform smiled at her mother and then replied quietly, "woman..."

Mami observed the tiny white-skinned baby smooth. Beautiful, with a pointed nose and thin lips reddish in color. He seemed to squirm slowly even though his eyes remained closed.

"Mi, is she sleeping?" ask El.

"Yes, honey..."

"Funny, mi. Can El take it home?" tanyanya polo's.

Don't woi! People's children...

"Can't El, his mother can cry looking for him later. You really have the heart?" ask mami. She knew El was soft-hearted, softer than her other two brothers.

"Well..." El was disappointed. "El likes him, mi. Can't you?" ask again. This time in a light tone and a little pleading.

"He's not a darling. What if your mom loves you to the sisters you want?" ask mami.

"No way, mi! Bad mom..." El hugged my mother tightly, afraid that her mother would leave her.

"Either, you shall not take the baby from his mother." El nodded in understanding.

"Yes, mi..." El nodded.

"What's his name?" My mother asked the sister.

"Not yet named, ma'am." she replied sadly.

"Why?" ask mami curious.

"No idea, Mom. But it seems like her mother doesn't like this baby. Just look at him he's reluctant. And her son is perfect and beautiful."

Mami El shook her head in concern. "What a pity.." he murmured softly. He began to think about adopting the beautiful baby.

"But her father is dear to this baby." continued the sister.

"Oh so." At least someone still loves him.

The nurse was silent, she had not responded. Mami El is starting to feel bad. "Ehm..." He cleared his throat slowly. "It doesn't have to be a name, Sus. Just a nickname from me." he said.

"Come on, Mom." The nurse nodded. "Let me propose to his parents."

Mami smiled happily. "May I know when this baby was born?" tanyakanya. Mommy likes to give a name based on the circumstances when this baby was born.

"Night, I remember. I was watching that day" he replied.

"Night..." Mami rubbed her chin thinking.

"It doesn't rain tonight." The nurse added information to the mother, trying to help her think.

"Hm... A bright night for girls..." Mommy's still mumbling. Ah, he found a suitable name.

"Moon?" ask mommy to the sister. El scrunched his forehead, looking dislike. My mom tried to think again.

"What about, Luna?"

Mami could see a smile rising on El's face. "That's a pretty new name, Mi. Suitable for her beautiful..."

"That's it..." Mami melengos. "It can be you..." He's shuffling El's hair.

"Lunaaaa~~~" El called the baby in the typical voice of a small child. The baby was wiggling to welcome his call.

"Look at it, mi. He also likes that name like El."

Mami laughs in the heart of El's incredible imagination. "Yes, yeah."

"Luna~~~" He called again the baby, and again the baby wriggled as if to deny it.

"Mommy," the pat on mom's shoulder shook it. Papi came to pick them up.

Papi watched the baby. "Who?" tanyakanya.

Mom shrugged her shoulders. "don't know. We just met."

"Luna~~~" El is still not tired of greeting the baby. Papi who saw that smiled to himself.

"Did El want a sister?" ask papi. "Mommy can make it for you later."

Mami welcomes guyonan papi with a spicy pinch in the stomach, making papi squeal restrained for a moment. The nurse who saw that smiled knot.

"No, Pi." Unexpectedly it turns out El answered the question without a papi answer. "El doesn't want a sister. But El wants this." He pointed at the baby innocently, as if he asked to buy a toy and wanted to bring it home immediately. Still strong apparently.

"Can't we take him home? Can't you?" El weld to papi now. Papi started to go wrong. He does have a lot of money. But not to buy people's children either....

Finally my mother mediated. "Can't now, baby..." Mom tried to understand. "Wait until he grows up you can take him home..."

"Well..." El complained disappointed.

"Here, don't be sad anymore. I'll buy you a toy, yeah..."

"Yes, yeah." El nodded according. "Dadah Luna's... When you grow up, I will take you home. Wait yes..."

Papi and Mami poked a smile at the sweet farewell.

"Wait ya.." said El who still pointed when they say goodbye to the sister.

"Dear, if God wills. He'll be waiting for you..." Papi and Mami finally could no longer resist the urge not to chuckle softly. Little El could only look at them with an incomprehensible look.
