Chapter 23: The Warmth

Luna opened her eyes and found herself already on the bed, in the room she knew. Brother El's room, or can he call it his room now?

"Are you okay?" ask El. "I'm sorry you did it without your permission" he continued.

Luna was misbehaving the words of El. Since when did he become so aggressive? Are hormone levels rising?

"A-a-i'm good." said Luna. Because Brother El asked, he was only aware of the pain and soreness at the base of his thigh. Luna's face turned red. "I'm gonna take a shower." Luna immediately grabbed her blanket quickly, getting out of bed.

Luna rubbed her head that hit the nightstand when she fell just now. It was also the second time he had fallen out of bed. Is he that smart?

"Come here" said El who was suddenly in front of Luna. He raised Luna's body with both hands and let Luna hug her neck so as not to fall, although it was almost impossible for her to make her fall.

Luna was silent a thousand languages while hiding the red tinge that had started to appear on her white ears. El escorted her to the bathroom door, then dropped her off. "Thank you" said Luna.

"Do you want to help?" ask El. He was actually worried about Luna. Of course because it was a first for Luna, even for her as well. She was sure Luna must be feeling sick. El had seen the blood flowing while doing so, but by that time he was already covered in anger. He should have done it more gently. Or maybe not do it at all.

"Luna??" El shouted even louder as he did not hear the answer. "I'll break down if you don't answer" he shouted.

It finally sounded authentic from within and El could sigh in relief. A few moments later the door opened. "Why are you so long?" ask El.

"Sorry, brother. Are you going to the bathroom?" luna.

El shakes. "No," he said. "Do you need anything? Do you want to eat? Want cake? Or chocolate milk? What is mango juice?"

Luna was astonished to hear El's line of questions. "No," Luna smiled slightly. "I want to learn."

"Why?! Isn't the exam over?" ask El. A week ago Luna has been studying continuously, is not enough?

"There's still a college entrance exam" Luna replied. He wants to at least get a place in a state college that costs him more to be friendly, or maybe he can try to get a scholarship. He had wanted to just go to work, but maybe it would make the El family embarrassed if it turned out that his son-in-law was just a high school graduate.

El took a deep breath, trying to understand. "Alright, brother won't bother you." El rubbed Luna's head slowly and went outside the room. He was able to calm down because Luna was fine, now he needed to take care of some of the things he had left behind. Reza and Kris were waiting for him.

But as night fell, Luna felt bad and her tears began to drip. He went out of the room and looked for El, but did not find him. He just saw my mom watching TV.

"Mami.." call Luna soft. Her tears are flowing.

Mommy stood up to him. "Why baby?" tanyakanya. Mami stroked Luna's head and could feel Luna's body temperature different from her. "You're hot" he said.

Luna hugged mommy. "Dizziness... Luna's stomach hurts.." whining.

"Have you eaten?" ask mami. Luna shook her head. "Eat first, mami maiapin ya..."

After eating Luna remained spoiled to mami, not wanting to let go at all. "Do you want to go to the doctor?" ask mami.
