Chapter 60: Sepi

"That means, sometimes unconscious, except when it's gone.." - Luna-Luna.

The goddess stepped her feet slowly towards her rented room. Since that incident, he did not dare to stay back home with Hendra and his four sons. Besides not daring, he was also embarrassed to show his face again there.

CKLEK.

The wooden door opened slowly, displaying a patch of rooms that only had an area of 3 x 3 meters. He took off his shoes and sat on a thin blue folding mattress.

"Hhh..." The goddess let out a long sigh then laid herself down there. He just got home from work. Usually after this he will tidy up the house and cook, while taking care of the youngest of course. Sometimes there is a screech when the child starts to misbehave. Watching TV or not taking a shower.

The goddess tilted her body. There was only a white wall staring back at him. The room was empty, just like his heart.

The hand of the Goddess slowly felt her bed, just a bed, without a bed or pillow. The goddess glanced at the other things in this room besides the things she was sleeping on, it was a small cardboard box containing her clothes. There's nothing else. Yes, a few days ago he decided to get out of the house, leaving behind all the knitted memories that have happened over the past 15 years. If only, if only, at that time he was not consumed by Daniel's seduction, maybe now he can still sleep comfortably, eat, and chat with his husband and children.

No more laughter, screeches or even the fighting sounds of Arga, Arka, Arsya and Arya. Arka grunts that he used to hear when the child was busy playing with his cellphone, always connected by the loyal ledkan Arga into a supporter, ready to blaspheme. As for Arsya, she is more calm. Solicitor. He prefers to accompany the youngest Arya to play, or just watch children's shows together.

The goddess closed her eyes, began to imagine again, throwing herself into the past. This time she heard the sound of knocking on the door and greeting when her husband came home. Events that begin to blur from his memory. He tried to remember again how he welcomed Dad, and then brought his bag, prepared food for the man, like a wife. She also always remembered how her husband always gave up, gave everything he wanted, obeyed all his will, never protested let alone angry at her. Only then did he realize how much Hendra loved him. Love, not just love.

Her tears slowly drip down her cheeks. The goddess let it go, reluctant to move. His lips were tightly clenched, withstanding sobs that might have been heard into the next room due to the extremely thin barrier wall. He clenched his lips as tightly as he could, trying to block the sound coming out of it.

This made him suffer. Being alone like this is horrible. Without life, without love...

DESERTED

It's quiet here, not because there's nobody

Silence is not the result of no sound

But because there is no love

Half the heart goes

without carrying this self

the raga that was left behind

out of breath

Tired of soul

as if nothing else could be felt

Tired kills dreams

feel like no one cares

even if just pretending

in a moment

This life is empty

loss of meaning that is supportive

everything is a lie

the memories that used to destroy everything

The universe is laughing

scorn for the wounded

not for what

it all comes from his stupidity

I don't know, it seems that after this I will run

finding a purpose to pull over

avoid lonely days and nights

they may also choose to die...

📞 Sister...

Luna, who was previously happy to be extraordinary when picking up the phone from Arsya, in an instant turned gloomy after hearing a panicked voice from across there.

📞 Why Arsya?

📞 Brother can go home? Please help us...

He could hear his sister's voice squeezing out from inside the object.

📞 Brother is there now...

Luna closed the connection and headed straight for the closet, picking up a change of clothes. His head was full of question marks. He wondered what was happening. Everything's opaque.

As fast as lightning Luna changed clothes. After that he immediately grabbed his cellphone and wallet, put it in a small bag that he had taken out of the closet. Half-running, Luna headed to the courtyard of the house with gasping breath.

"Sir, take it to my house." he said to the driver who was sitting relaxed while playing chess with the house security.

The man immediately stood up and raised his hand respectfully, "get ready, boss.." he said.

Luna briefly smiled, before she finally regained her senses with what seemed like, according to her premonition, she had to get home as fast as she could.

In less than an hour, Luna arrived home. Arsya opened the door and immediately pulled Luna inside.

"Sister, Arya's sick... Don't know why..."

Luna was surprised to see Arya who was lying on the bed, bathed in sweat while delirious.

"Arya, what's sick?" Luna held her sister's forehead, hot. Arya fever.

"Mother.." whining Arya.

Luna looked back quickly, looking at Arsya. "Where's mama?" tanyanya. He was too panicked to realize it. But now, when Arya mentioned it, she realized. He probably won't be here when you're around. Is it going?

"Try the phone first..." Luna grabbed her phone from the bag, about to press a button, but Arsya prevented it.

"Sister..." His hand held onto Luna, then he shook his head slowly. "Mother is not living here anymore..." Arsya speaks softly.

"You mean?" Luna frowned confusedly. "When don't you live here where?" Luna's brain is not yet connected to her current state. He still guessed what Arsya meant.

"Explain..." Luna wanted to know more, anything she had missed.

"Hm..." Arsya muttered for a moment, hesitating to say.

"Quick, Arsya..." Luna clucked impatiently. He really wants to know what's going on.

"Hm... Mother.. leave the house..." Arsya smiled wryly.

"Why? When's? How can? What's up?" As Arsya had expected, Luna must have been shocked. Arga must have not informed Luna.

"Since then. at Alex's house... Before long... Mother left.. until now..."

"Where??" Luna involuntarily snapped at her sister. He was upset and disappointed that no one told him his family was this broken. Why are they all silent?

"Do not know..." Arsya drowned. He looked at Luna with a hearty look, as if apologizing when he was not the wrong one.

"Mother..." Arya's moaning voice shocked Luna. He forgot about the more important thing, Aryan's health.

"Hhhhh...." After taking a deep breath, Luna looked at Arsya for a second then said. "Prepare Arya's clothes, we take her to the hospital..."

Arsya nodded and immediately everything was ready. Luna asks Arsya to bring their youngest sister into the car. After that, the car drove quickly to the nearest hospital.

Once there, his sister was immediately treated by a doctor. Luna bit her finger worriedly looking at Arya whose face was getting pale. Arsya is just as tense. They were just two there, confused, without a father and mother, like chicks losing their mothers. I really don't know what to do or how. You can only look at the doctor and the nurse who examined you.

Panic? Sure oes. Worried? No need to ask. But, the thing that was more worrying than all of that was, they lost their way.

"Symptoms of typhoid, should be treated... Please take care of the administration first..." The doctor's words made Luna stunned. How do I manage administration? Earlier because of panic he just took his sister to the ER.

"Just calm down, the doctor will immediately take action here. You can go to the front desk." The nurse handed Luna a map containing doctor's notes. It's just, Luna doesn't understand. He stood up. Seeing her unmoved interlocutor, the nurse led the way. Luna followed him clumsy.

"Here, brother..."

Now, Luna was in front of a large chest-high wooden table. Sister gave a note that Luna did not welcome to the woman behind the table. The person in front of him who was sitting in a chair immediately typed the data he received in the computer, while several times asking personal data to Luna. Luna who had just first gained this kind of experience stammered in answering, making the white uniform crinkle a few times.

"The total cost is...."

Luna glared at hearing the overwhelming numbers. For a moment, he felt like fainting. He forgets that administration is about money, it seems like his brain yawns and shrinks, making him less smart.

"You paid cash or debit, brother?" Now the woman looked at him, expecting an answer.

"Aah!" Luna was wrong. "Pay ya..." He opened his bag and took his wallet. With trembling hands, he researched the contents. Instantly, he became tense. If you remember again, Brother El did give him pocket money, but not as much as the numbers mentioned earlier. Not because of stingy, it's just that Luna who often refused him if El gave him money when he still had a sheet in his wallet. And now he's sorry.

Luna was glued for a moment before pulling the rectangular object that she had never used before. "Wear this, can you?" tanyanya doubt. It was the card El had given him once. Luna kept it, she had never tried to wear it. It must be the right time.

"Can..." Luna let out a sigh of relief as the card moved from her hand. Praise God, he survived. Hopefully the money in the card is enough.

"Please..."

After pressing a few numbers on the shining machine, it took out two copies of the paper. Once again, Luna breathed a sigh of relief. Success, indwelling.

"It's over, brother. Thank ye. Hope you heal soon..." Luna returned the brother's sweet smile with her stiff smile.

"Huh-ha..." He started laughing at himself. First experience taking care of people in the hospital. So this is what it feels like to be a parent.

Luna's steps came to a halt as the phone in her bag shook. He was surprised to see his name on the phone screen, Brother El.

📞 Luna!

Luna was shocked by that sudden voice. It's not usual for El to talk with screeches.

📞 I. yes, sis...

Luna answered timidly. Directly pelt.

📞 What are you doing in the hospital?!

Ultramennn... I know I was in the hospital...

📞 What are you sick with? Brother will be there soon...

Oh my... Luna could not say anything because El was far beyond her expectations. If Luna had just thought about stepping up or not, then El was already at the finish line waiting for her.

📞 I'm not---

📞 Wait there. Don't go anywhere...

The phone just shuts down. Luna could only stare at the screen of the phone whose light had dimmed. He moved his feet. Better get back to Arya's place.

CKLEK.

Luna opened the door to Arya's ward. Arsya was already there, sitting in a chair waiting for Arya who was asleep next to her. Luna is approaching Arsya. He could see Arya who was lying weakly with a tangle of infusion tubes in her hands.

"Was Arya crying?" ask Luna.

Arsya answered with a head. "No, sis..."

I don't know why Luna doesn't feel as grateful as she should be. He felt Arya was too mature to endure pain and not cry. It didn't seem to have even protested or whined at all earlier.

"Mother..."

Ah, again that groan...

Luna sat on the edge of the bed and stroked her sister's head slowly. "Yes..."

His sister who might be delirious was grimacing for a moment. "Mother, Arya won't be naughty anymore... Don't stay in Arya..."
