The Secret Love Story (End)

The Secret Love Story (End)
You're Finally Lost

You're finally gone

You left me

And memories...

It is the only future left

~Finally You're Missing, Aan Mansur~

Two weeks went on as usual leaving all the memories some time ago behind. However, still remembering the event happened, like a movie playing again on the front, my memory is too. I still remember when she shed her tears while reading the poem. Right at the last stanza of the poem, he looked at me wistfully, and then several streaks of tears fell down his cheeks before he finally fell unconscious in the next few seconds. I don't know why I felt that there was an oddity created at the time. Was it because the poem contained the sadness he read that made his tears slide just like that, or is it because of the memories in his past that suddenly barged in without permission when he was not ready to make it fall into a daze instantly. Or is it all because of me?

Ahhhh.I don't know. I was frustrated that I couldn't do anything when I saw him like that. I could only stay in my place and not flinch at all while the others were busy with their anxiety towards the girl. Until a sense of relief was finally created on their faces when he was taken to the hospital and treated by his doctor. The doctor who has been with him since when. Yes, the doctor, dr. Mahdi Partners Adhytama. I have been damning myself ever since. It reminds me of my past with him. Where I could only remain silent without giving a defense to her at that moment, just where she was looked down upon and underestimated, I could only quietly withdraw myself from not interfering with what was happening to her at that moment.

"My mother did not accept it..," said one of the students to Ara at the time.

"Why deck...?" ask Ara.

"This is why I don't get the grades. Did you not check the work I sent you?"

"Ma'af deck, mbak already checked e-mail but sister has not sent her duties..,"

"Lohh I've sent my duties mbak. I always send tasks. And this is why my value at yesterday's meeting was so bad, '" said the student by showing a practicum control card to Ara and her partner, Erlangga.

"Oh.this is the value of an ugly sister because the sister is late to collect her duties." explained Ara.

"Loh, but I said in the email that I was late.", said the student.

"Dek, I've tolerated repeatedly delaying my sister collecting assignments over and over again for many of the reasons that my sister wrote in the email. But, if like this continues it won't be fair to the other deck. Others try hard to collect tasks on time, while his sister even repeatedly make the same mistakes." explained Ara.

"I just don't accept it. I can report Mbak to the head of the laboratory if I think it's good," he explained with a cynical and rude look to Ara.

Ara was about to ride the apoplexy when it was but suddenly an instructor who was none other than the alumni of the assistant broke them. The instructor asked the ma'af to the student for what was happening because he did not know. Ara came out for a few minutes and then came back with the evidence in her hands. The small white laptop featured an email containing the duties of its students and that was where the Instructor finally knew that Ara was innocent at all in this regard. And the instructor finally told the student because it turned out that the student was wrong.

The practicum also went back to normal as different students were protesting students who no longer dared to ask either Ara or Erlangga. Erlangga, approaching his partner who is now sitting on the student bench at the back.

"Don't cry..," he told the girl.

"I don't cry.." said Ara.

"Well....?"

"Why should I cry. I was angry because of his words. His words were more rude than the harsh words you once said to me," said Ara as she tried to hold back her tears that were about to fall.

Deg, Erlangga who heard that was very surprised that the girl still remembered the harsh words she had said to her first.

"We agreed earlier, before the lecture began not to give value to the student. And you said you'd defend me if something happened" said Ara, sighing, who felt tight from holding back the tears of her anger. "Tap.but when something really happens you just shut up don't help me. You know I hold back crying because I can't get angry, but you don't even do anything when I'm looked down upon and underestimated like that. Turns out I was wrong, Gha, I was wrong to believe what you said. And this is the result, I have to bear all the consequences myself right..?" said the girl by trying to keep smiling in front of Erlangga. Erlangga only kept silent a thousand languages and let the girl then pass away from him.

On the other hand, Ara was packing up to return to her workplace. Well, since a few months ago Ara was transferred to Sragen, where the new branch office to see the condition and development of the office. In the tentengnya large suitcase black with red lines on the side of the bag. He kissed his father's hand and asked permission to leave.

"Take care of yourself, son." said his father.

"Yes Well..," replied Ara.

This time Ara went alone to Sragen, without being ushered in by the Mahdi. Mahdi had a scheduled surgery at the hospital this morning. Ara went on a public transport ride to the train station and then darted by train to the sragen station. After that, he walked to take public transportation again to his rented house. During his time at Sragen he contracted in an area not so far from his workplace.

A fairly small sized house that only contains one bathroom adjacent to the kitchen and one bedroom adjacent to the living room is a place where Ara unwind from her daily work routine. He put his body on a mattress wrapped in sheets patterned with large roses that are sky blue. She tried to close her eyes for a moment, but then she woke up instantly after hearing her hanphonen ringing.

Mahdi Calling :

"Hallo, Assalamu'alaikum.." said someone across the street.

Ara Calling :

"Wa'alaikum salam, Mas..," said Ara.

Mahdi Calling :

"Have we reached Ra...?"

Ara Calling :

"Yes already, just got to Mas..,"

Mahdi Calling :

"Yes, rest there. Take good care of yourself there..,"

Ara Calling :

"Okay, too...,"

Mahdi Calling :

"Yes, don't forget to take the medicine, and call Mas immediately if anything happens there. Or if you feel something strange you feel. I don't want you to faint again like some time ago. Don't try too hard to remember yes...,"

Ara Calling :

"Yes, I don't have to worry. God willing Ara will take care of herself. Wasn't it before Ara was also fine here. So I don't have to worry anymore. Okay...?"

Mahdi Calling :

Ara Calling :

"Iya Mas, Wa'alaikum salam..," said Ara at the end of his conversation with mahdi via phone.

I woke up from my sleep when my mom screamed and banged on my bedroom door. I swear that you asked the most powerful alarm in the world that ranked first was the cry of mama. His shrill voice was very deafening and if it was like that how could I not wake up immediately. I could still hear her voice even though it wasn't so loud anymore because I knew that maybe my mother had walked a bit away from my room. I sat down and drank water in a glass neatly located on my bedside. The alarm of life, when I speak like that I think back to the past. Right then, my college days. In the last two years during my college years there has always been one that wakes me up in the morning and even in the third of the night.

Flashbacks

"Tomorrow to leave at what time?" ask the little girl.

"Three o'clock in the morning..," I said.

"Oh, what's the car going up?" he asked, which I answered with a nod. "You're picked up, right?" ask again.

"Yes." I replied. "But.the problem is...,"

"Why is there a problem?" the question was to give the leptop with the doraemon bag to me. Yeah, I was in his room at the time to borrow his leptop because my leptop was broken.

"The problem is, I can't get up early in the morning....,"

"Oh.ya will not wake up later deh..," said the girl.

And I knew then that his words to wake me up in the third of the night were real. I woke up when I heard my phone ring because of a call from him. I don't know if he woke up that night to wake me up. But, a few days later I knew that he was used to waking up in the third of the night to pray at night and maybe he was also reminded to wake me up. You know, honestly I had a little spiciness at that time, I think he was willing to wake up from his deep sleep just to wake me up who was about to go to Jember at that time, but it turns out he was used to waking up because of his night prayers. But I can not deny I was quite touched by the good habit, where when everyone was soundly sleeping he even woke up and set up prayers in the fork that night. Perfect, she's a completely different woman than most, that's what I thought at the time.

I came down from my bedroom on the second floor and grabbed the food on the dining table in my disheveled state because I had not yet taken a shower. Well, I haven't had a bath since I woke up and just washed my face and brushed my teeth after that I went straight down to the dinner table because I found my rebellious stomach voice asking to be filled.

"Gha, take a bath there.." Mama's pinta who got me was enjoying the warm fried tempeh that just came down from the frying pan.

"Don't be mah, lazy..," I replied as I chewed the tempe.

"You always do that when I tell you to take a shower.." Mama just bobbed her head at my behavior. Also followed by Papa and my younger brother who is now perched at the dining table with me.

"Tau tuh kak, bathing sono. Loe's body stinks of tau.." said my sister as she pushed me from my seat. But I just kept quiet and focused on the food I ate without poking them all.

"When are you back in Singapore, Gha?" ask Papa.

"Don't know pa, any later." I said.

"But kesono cepet and the completion of the lecture loe..," cried my sister.

"Loe ngusir me..," said I respond to the words of my sister. "Duuhh.loe if I don't go home asked when I'm coming home. My turn at home You tell me to come back..,"

"It's not Gha, right your sister said. If you come back you can mepet complete your S2 and then you can come back here again for work here forever." said Mama. But I didn't say anything and was just busy eating the food in front of me. "Cepet passed and cepet got a good job. Do you really want to bother with Brina?" asked the mother who then suddenly made my eyes switch from food to look at mama.

Mama immediately turned to the kitchen to bring some fruit that had been peeled. But I know that you did that because you saw my gaze on the mama who seemed cold after hearing my mama's words.

"Yes, by the way why don't you bring Brina here Gha. You've been home for three months. You're not gonna get him?" ask Papa.

I just shook my head. I don't know why I don't want to talk about him right now. My head is filled with only one name at the moment. "Aerylin Bellvania Az-Zahra", I'm just thinking about the current owner of the name. Ever since I found out she lost her memory a while ago, ever since I saw her faint back then, I've always thought about that girl. Ah, nothing more than that I thought about that girl even when I was in Singapore. I don't know why I remember him all the time. I knew this was not something I deserved, thinking about another girl when I had a girl with whom I had a date status. But, I can't avoid it, I can't let go of my memory from thinking about it. When the girl remembered nothing of her past with me, I could recall every memory I had with her. Isn't that weird?

Ara was walking towards her office. She wore a navy-colored blouse with a matching long headscarf and a wide black skirt perched on her hips. His red bag he wore on his left shoulder. His right hand carries a neatly wrapped supply box in a small bag of light blue. Some of his co-workers who were boarding around his area greeted him and offered him boncans. But Ara refused and kept walking to her office.

Meanwhile Erlangga who was bored at home during her vacation now decided to visit one of her High School friends. He chose to drive a motorcycle rather than a car to get there faster and avoid traffic jams on the road. He looked around and realized that a lot had changed in the area.

"Loe seriously..? I became curious what kind of girl can make a Vino until it turns 360 degrees..," asked Erlangga shook his head.

"Yes Gha, he's really crazy because of that girl. Every day he would come to my house just to see the girl walking home from work ckck..," explained Ferdhy and all of them laughed at Ferdhy's talk about Vino's behavior.
