“How is His Majesty doing?” asked Empress Dowager Shen while watching the figure of Mudan who was cleaning his equipment. “What will he soon realize?” Her bead glanced at Emperor Weixin whose hue looked much healthier compared to the past few days.

Mudan saluted Empress Dowager Shen and replied, “The Queen Mother's answer, Her Majesty's life is no longer in danger.”

“Thankful to the sky,” replied Empress Dowager Shen who was followed by the sighs of Empress Mingmei and Wang Qiuhua who were in the room.
