The Lover In Dream

The Lover In Dream
Not Really Going

The room cannot be called an apartment, there is only one room full of goods and a bathroom. More correctly called a boarding room. The boarding house occupied by Naya is near from Kubo's apartment. That's why the cost of the room is a little more expensive than the market price. Its strategic location, close to the city center and easy to reach is the main reason Naya chose the boarding room. The woman had never moved since she first set foot in Japan.

Since returning from the office, Naya just sat next to her bed and looked at the entire room. It looks wider because all the goods he has sent to Indonesia since last week. All that was left was one suitcase to store his clothes and a small carry bag to carry personal items. Sometimes he sighed, recalling the things he had done in this sakura land.

The atmosphere of the boarding room was so quiet, there were only the sounds of a few people passing in front of the room. Then then silence came back. He had agreed with the hostess that he would be out tomorrow morning. And went straight back to Indonesia after her farewell party. Naya is not a person who likes to postpone nunda, she has prepared all her documents since far away. He has been busy since he submitted his resignation letter.

Silence, in his heart there is doubt when he again saw his photo in the past. While smiling, and sometimes laughing small in the corner of his eyes there was a drop of tears. The fact that he would again start his life without a bustling Japan, Kubo taught him many things, and everything he has done in recent years. He believes Kubo would accept it for no reason if Naya said she wanted to cancel her resignation. But Naya didn't want to do that. Although difficult, he wants to try not to be shackled in the feeling of loving all his dreams centered in Japan.

A dream that took him far away to the land of Sakura, lived there and forgot everything he had in Indonesia. His family, education, career, and adolescence. Actually he did not want to give up, but the fact that he had left behind many things that he should not have left made the woman aware. That he has lost a lot of things.

"Have my things arrived yet?" Say Naya when the call is connected.

"Here, this is again redeemed at the airport. There's a lot of Nay" grumbled a man on the other end of the phone.

"Hehe, yes ka. I have never returned anything to Indonesia. All stacked up here. So once taken home, a lot" explained Naya.

"Ri, hunt here help liftin. Nay, yes, yes" The call was interrupted shortly after the man shouted for help from someone.

In Naya's mind, imagine how troublesome her brother is to bring all his goods. But Naya did not care, she felt happy if she had to trouble her only brother.

*****

Kubo has already downed two bottles of sake tonight, he did not even go home to the apartment. His heart was not happy because Naya would return to Indonesia tomorrow. He wants to ask Naya to stay, but she can't. Naya was already so round to leave.  Tonight, in a crowded club, filled with the sounds of irregular DJ music. Around him, many people danced even to the floor. People who know each other, or have just known each other.

If you think, Kubo does not understand why he can feel so confident in Naya. When Naya first came to Japan, Naya did not know what, the woman was just a regular university graduate in Indonesia, had no experience, and even her Japanese language was not certified at all. But when I saw Naya during the interview using a video call. Kubo only took ten minutes to see the spirit of the young woman burning. He saw a woman who was full of confidence that she would quickly understand new things later. And it makes Kubo sure, that Naya will not disappoint him. And it was proven.

The first few days, when Kubo also just started his career as a company leader at a young age. He often saw Naya sobbing behind the table, or the sound of loud cries being restroomed for some time. At that time Kubo learned to understand the siatuasi Naya, that at that time Naya had difficulty in her work, especially her Japanese language which was not so fluent, but also, and made worse by longing for the hometown that continues to haunt him. And Kubo could do nothing but try to ease Naya's discomfort. Such as changing the menu of the canteen into Indonesian food, preparing the meeting materials themselves, trying to re-explain the material that Naya handled using English. Kubo tried so hard, just to keep Naya. Naya, the woman who accompanied Kubo began his adolescence as a successor to his company leader.

"You should know, this meeting is important to me. Sia wasted you coming home the night if the results remain this wrong" he cried again.

"Naya, you must study carefully. Don't get this wrong too much" He continued to scold Naya.

"Why do I pay you high if I end up having to do this little thing"

"It's your fault you're gone now. I don't want to be in touch with you"

Kubo recalled everything he had done, especially the bad things that made Naya cry several times. But after that day, Naya changed. His mind turned around, recalling his memories with Naya. Naya is struggling with herself.

"Not yet to come home ?" kubo asked when he saw that Naya was still on his desk, while the time had shown at eleven o'clock at night.

The entire office was deserted, there were only the two of them there. The entire room around was dark, only Kubo and Naya's room was still lit.

Naya turned her head, "Looks like I want to stop working" Lirih Naya.

Kubo just nodded, he then started to take a sitting position right in front of his desk. Facing the woman, while smiling thinly and trying to stay calm.

"I will not forbid you, nor ask your reasons. I just want to say one thing" Kubo explained.

"You haven't started anything yet, so far I'm just trying to get you used to my attitude. Because later on, you will spend more time with me than you have time for yourself. But if it turns out you can't, I won't force it" Kubo added.

From then on, Naya started working hard. Starting to find out about Kubo, he did not hesitate to ask what he wanted to know about Kubo. About the man's habits, his past, and what Kubo wants. Kubo remembers the first time he went abroad with Naya. The china. One week before departure, Naya was so chatty and busy preparing everything for Kubo. For the first time, Kubo felt comfortable when going abroad for a long time.

For Kubo, Naya didn't really leave. The woman had her own space in mind. Naya will always be there, and always be remembered.
