The Love Story of the Twin Three Girls

The Love Story of the Twin Three Girls
Chapter 76

After lunch they all chatted in the living room, except for Dad and Aunt who were talking about something serious in the workroom.

"Sister, come home, look at me!" Agatha persuaded August.

"You know I can't go home!" August looked into his sister's eyes.

"Do you still hold a grudge against dad so you won't set foot again at home?" Agatha clasped her brother's hand.

"Aren't you the one who didn't want to see me and Rossie?" ask August.

"Father has changed brother, after mother died, father felt very lonely, he just spent his time busy himself by working without knowing the time. Now that father is in such a hard pain, there is not a single person who can accompany him at home except the housekeeper, at least if we are by his side, it can slightly treat the pain he is suffering from!" Agatha explained at length.

"He only needs me when he's sick, and where is he when he's happy and healthy? does he ever remember my struggle crawling from scratch? does he recognize my wife as his son-in-law? does he regard my children as his grandchildren?" august's speech sounded so bitter.

The arrogant and stubborn attitude of the great master Peteroy who opposed his marriage to Rossie twenty years ago made August feel very disappointed and wasted.

"So don't you really want to forgive her?" Agatha persuaded.

"I've forgiven him for a long time, but I don't want my wife and children to experience the same heartache as me!" August almost shed tears.

"I'm sure they'll understand, your children are adults, and even if Rossie's sister is a good person with a heart as big as the ocean, she'll definitely forgive the mistakes you've made against her!" Agatha stroked August's shoulder.

"I'll ask Rossie first, if she agrees, I'll come, but if she's uncomfortable, then I'll stay the way I am!" August asked for time.

"Thank you brother!" Agatha hugged her sister.

..........

"Let's go!" Rossie convinces August to meet Peteroy's great master when Agatha is home and they both lie in the room at night.

"Are you sure?" August looked at his wife for answers.

"We as children should have come to apologize if we were wrong to our parents!" said Rossie.

"It's been decades baby, now everything has changed, I've even forgotten it!" Rossie said honestly while hugging her husband to reassure him.

"Well, if that's your decision, tomorrow morning we explain everything to the children and let them decide for themselves, whether they want to come or not to see their Grandpa!" august said returning his wife's embrace.

Although Rossie and August have been married for more than twenty years, but the love between the two never decreases, even increasing every day. August loves Rossie with all his soul, willing to sacrifice anything for the woman who has now become the mother of his three children.

..........

The next morning, at breakfast, the father finally ventured to tell all the truth to his son and daughter-in-law.

"Dad wants to have a serious talk with all of you!" said the father staring at all the faces of the son and his son-in-law.

"What's up, huh?" Marie enthusiastic.

"Does this have anything to do with Agatha's aunt's arrival yesterday?" Katie tried to guess.

"Yes, as you know, I always seem to live a family without family, but I still have a father and a sister!" Dad opened the conversation.

"Why don't you ever tell me?" ask Janie.

"Honestly, I'm not ready, son, I'm afraid that if you hear the real story, you'll get hurt, just like your mother did!" dad breathed heavily.

"Now that you are grown up, even married, it is time for you to know the truth! moreover, your husbands are the children of the best friends of father and mother, who in fact know all the facts that we have kept all this time!" I helped Dad explain.

"So my father-in-law and uncle and aunt know?" Katie slips.

"Yes, they are the witnesses!" said father.

"why did my father-in-law and mother-in-law never tell me?" Janie wonder.

"We asked to keep it a secret, we wanted you to know from our own mouths, and we thought now was the time!" mom smiled.
