After being declared healthy enough, I was allowed to go home. "sorry I can't take your father home" James stared fixedly at Katie as she had to face a trial that no one could represent. "it's okay, we're here" Katie said with a smile. "be patient when I get home, I'll catch up with you as soon as my business is done" James stroked Katie's cheeks gently with a smile. "yes" Katie replied with a nod, then James left the hospital for the court office to follow his client's trial.
"You're so lucky to have James, he loves you so much" Janie, who has since observed her twin brother, commented next to Katie, who was staring at James' departure, "he's just my teacher and boss, not my girlfriend, you don't make a shit up!" Katie insists on their relationship. "but she loves you so much, aren't you aware of all her treatment of you all along?" Marie was gripped by Katie's constant attitude to close herself to James. "you who don't know who she is yet, she behaved so just out of pity for me, later when dad is healed too he will turn into a shitty human back!" katie said in her heart.
After arriving at Katie's house, she rests in her room. For almost four months he had not slept in that room. The longing he had felt paid off already. Katie was asleep most of the day. He felt very tired because he kept watch in the hospital for more than a week.
Katie woke up to the sound of knocking on the door in her room. "Katie, get up, it's dinner time" mother exclaimed from outside the room. "yes Mom, I'll be right down" Katie replied lazily. to be honest he still really wanted to linger in this bed, but the hunger in his stomach because he had not eaten from lunch earlier made him forced to wake up.
"Sir James? since when did you come?" ask Katie who saw James sitting in the dining room with the rest of the family. "already since afternoon, I wanted to wake you, but Mr. James forbid it" Answer the mother while preparing the food to be served.
"what have you been doing here since this afternoon?" Katie asks curiously. "chatting with dad and mom" James replies casually. "about what?" search Katie. "our marriage" James replied again casually. "what???" Katie suffocates to hear it. "what did you say?" Katie felt she had misheard James' answer. "our marriage" James repeated flatly. "no way!!!" Katie still doesn't believe what she hears "what does our marriage mean? who wants to get married?" Katie insists on the question, "of course you and I, Katie and James are getting married!" James then flashed his usual smile.
"why do you always decide things by yourself? I've never heard of and agreed to anything about this marriage!" Katie's upset about James. "i need to ask for your approval, right?" james whispered in Katie's ear threateningly. "i don't want to marry you, period!" Katie starts to get emotional.
"it's up to you, you know the consequences? remember that tape?" james whispered again to Katie and reminded her of the cctv recording when Katie slapped James in the hallway of the campus. "you're threatening me? get out of here, don't ever dream of marrying me!" Katie who did not accept then glared at James while tracking his waist. "good night dear, sleep well tonight, tomorrow morning I'll pick you up back to our apartment" then James kissed Katie's cheek which made Katie more emotional.
