Chapter 24

The time of the wedding is getting closer to make Katie and James made a hassle because they have to prepare everything very quickly and instantly. Mom, Dad, Marie and Janie are also forced to move to the capital temporarily to help Katie prepare for her wedding day. They live in James' apartment with Katie, while James lives with his father in their mansion.

"mom and Dad can use my room, while Janie and Marie can choose the guest room you like" James then put the suitcase of his future father-in-law in his room and resigned because there was a trial of his client that must be attended. "thank you son" Mother then began to tidy up her clothes.

James walked out of the room and approached Katie who was in the TV room with her two twin sisters. "unfortunately, tonight after all my work is done, I go home to my father's house" james said to Katie who was answered with just a nod. "you're okay if you have to choose your own wedding dress?" then James stroked Katie's hair gently and again Katie just nodded "of course it's okay, this marriage is not real either, so it doesn't matter to you if I want to wear a dress like what at the wedding" Katie muttered in her heart. "i go first" James then kissed Katie's forehead fondly. "cihh, "cihh, could you take the chance to kiss me in front of my brother!!" An annoyed Katie just silently stared with a flat expression as James walked out the apartment door to the elevator.

"you're so lucky, to have such a handsome, smart and rich husband" Marie went around the apartment of her future sister-in-law in awe. While Katie only responded to her twin comments with a bitter smile while muttering in her heart "you don't know who she really is yet!"

"If you get married and live with Uncle Jeremy, then this apartment is empty?" janie asked Katie. "maybe" Katie replied lightly. "It's a pity, even though this apartment is very luxurious, the extent of it is double our house" Janie shook her head.

"what are you doing? let's get ready quickly, we'll find a wedding dress for Katie" said the mother reprimanded her three children. Then they all set off for a luxury boutique that James had recommended using James's two most recent private cars delivered by two drivers. "dad and Mom got in the red car, the three of us were going up the black one" Katie directed her family while in the apartment lobby while waiting for the car that was heading their way.

The day that awaited has arrived, Katie who was initially always indifferent to her marriage, somehow today feels very nervous like being a real bride. "calm Katie, Katie, it's not your real wedding day" Katie tried to remind herself. James, who was ready in his tuxedo suit, approached Katie and her twin sisters, who were getting ready in a VVIP-class hotel room. James who never saw Katie dress up feminine had flabbergasted disbelief and pecked for a moment when he looked at his future wife who was very beautiful and different from his daily life. "are you ready?" James asked Katie without blinking her eyes at all which was answered with a nod by Katie.

The two of them walked to the hotel ballroom where the wedding reception was held, accompanied by Janie and Marie who became bridesmaids at the back while lifting Katie's long wedding dress dangling to the floor. All the invited guests present stared at the two of them with happy smiles.

"what the???" Mark who was standing not far from the bride was suffocated and gawked. "you why?" Charlie, shocked by Mark's screeching, then headed toward Mark's eyes, staring at "that's Katie?" Mark still doesn't believe. "you mean James' wife?" Charlie asked in surprise because of his friend's strange behavior. "so the girl James was telling us about was the Katie I knew?" Implied a bit of disappointment on Mark's face saw Katie walking towards the altar along with her best friend. "you know James' wife?" charlie asked inquiring. "of course, she was Katie, the jolly and fun girl I had met at the mall a few months ago, I had wanted to continue my relationship with her, but at that time my HP was gone, so I lost the number!" mark replied, who was still disappointed because the girl he was expecting turned out to be his best friend's wife. "basic playboy, your own best friend's wife just want you to sabet too!" Charlie's slut was then fiercely stared at by Mark "I liked him long before they got married!!" Mark, upset by Charlie's comments, finally prefers to go for a cold drink to refresh his heart and mind.

Janie who from the beginning of the show held down wanted to urinate then walked towards the toilet. BRUKKK, Janie bumped into someone who made them almost fall, fortunately the two were reflexively hugging each other so as not to fall. "sorry, I don't see anyone" Janie apologized while looking down. "it's okay, I'm sorry too" a friendly-sounding male voice apologized. "ohhh, ehhhh" Janie was misbehaved when she realized she was still hugging the man she hit. "sorry!" The man took off his arms, a split second later Janie looked at his face, "very handsome wahhh" Janie said in a heart amazed at the man's good looks in front of him. "i'm sorry" then the man passed from Janie's presence and made Janie aware of her goal of finding a toilet because she could not bear to urinate.
