Chapter 3 KATIE

Time felt so fast, already six months after Marie decided to study in the fashion designer department. Now the triplet has prepared the file to apply to the university they crave. Katie, who wants to become a lawyer, chose to go to Laws International University in the capital. Marie who changed direction in the middle of the road decided to proceed to Universal Art School at the end of the city border of Alexbad with the capital. While Janie who became a doctor chose the faculty of medicine at Alexbad University.

That morning as usual Katie always woke up late, she forgot to set the alarm on her phone in order to get up early.

"Arghhhhhhh no kkk" the loud voice again sounded from the corner of the room of the second floor of the modest house. Katie ran straight to the bathroom and prepared to leave for her campus.

"Stupidly you're Katie, the first day is so important, why did you forget to set the alarm?" grunts to yourself.

After finishing the shower he immediately dressed as usual, namely using jeans, jersey shirt, training jacket, sneakers and back bag. He did not daub his face at all with make up, just mirrored tidying his hair and applying lipbalm so that his lips do not dry and cracked.

"Mom, well, I'm off yes" Katie said, grabbing the bread in her right hand and downing the milk with her left.

"Slow down, choking later" mother reminded as she bellied to see the behavior of the child who did not change until he was sitting on the bench in college.

After finishing her milk, Katie immediately ran with wide strides down the yard and the path to the nearest bus stop.

"Hopefully I'm not late, please bus come" Katie hoped in her heart.

After about an hour's drive from her suburban home, Katie finally arrives in front of the gates of her new campus, located in the center of the capital. He stared still in disbelief that he could study in this prestigious and expensive place. For a moment he fell into a daydream and felt like he was in a dream.

"Gosh I have to go in" Katie awakens from her daydream and rushes to the re-list counter for the freshman.

Meanwhile, in a room on campus, there was a fierce conversation between father and son.

"Please well, I don't want to be here, this is not my goal" grumbled the boy who refused his father's request to continue his struggle to manage the campus where Katie attended college.

"James, if you don't go on, then who do I have to ask? you're the only son of my father, so all of this legacy is bound to fall on you, including this campus, so whether or not you want to continue to manage all of this" he said.

Profs. Jeremy Gamaliel is the number one and most famous constitutional law expert in the country. Almost all the cases he dealt with always ended in victory. He is also the head of the state legal advisory team. As a jurist, he dedicates himself fully to the law enforcement of his country, including by establishing a university in the field of law that became the most popular and prominent. Many graduates of this campus who became jurists and successfully enforce justice. One of them is his own son James Gamaliel who managed to become a reliable lawyer and has a law firm that is widely used by the elite in the capital. That is why James refused to take care of the campus, because for him being a lawyer is the most important and foremost thing.

"If you insist on rejecting my request, then instead you should get married" the father said in a high tone and cold stare that he was furious.

Not without reason his father forced him to marry, at a fairly mature age of 30 years James is still enjoying his life as a bachelor, the father was getting older and had no other children besides James. His father knew very well that James was very uninterested in campus affairs, therefore, this was the reason he made a weapon so that his son could not refuse his requirements to marry instead of becoming a rector in his place.

James realized that his father was so angry that he could no longer answer his father's words. Even though he has become a good lawyer, but still for him every word that comes out of his father's mouth is a scary thing and must be done.

"Alright, I'll think again" James who didn't want to argue with his father any longer chose to leave his father's study with a very upset and confused heart.

"Why did you always force your will on me?" james grumbled inwardly as he walked towards the campus parking lot.

BUGG!!! a violent clash between two people occurred in a corner of the campus hallway.

"Awwww" screamed Katie while holding her shoulder that hurt because it hit so hard.

"Hey boy, you don't have eyes huh? why run in the hallway of the campus?" james said in a high tone.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean it" the guilty Katie apologized immediately.

"Sorry, sorry, you stupid woman doesn't know herself!" james' emotions that he had been harboring since in the workspace of the father immediately he vent to Katie who accidentally hit him.

"What did you say? I'm a stupid woman who doesn't know herself?" Katie who already feels sorry does not take being scolded.

"Yes you're a stupid woman!" james said back and responded with a hard slap towards his left cheek
