Chapter 66

After returning to their respective homes, Janie and Charlie continue their activities as usual. After breakfast, they leave together. Charlie escorts Janie to the nearest bus stop.

"Sister I'm down at the front fork only yes" Janie pointed at the road in front of her.

"Did you make a deal with your friend again?" ask Charlie to investigate.

"Yes, I promised Jack that this morning would be waiting for him in front of me" Janie said.

"Alright" then Charlie stopped his car by the side of the road.

"Thank you brother, be careful on the road" Janie then got out of the car, closed the door and waved and walked away to approach someone who was on a motorcycle.

Charlie did not flinch at what was happening in front of him. He felt something burning in his chest. His emotions were so high, he wanted to get out of the car and pull Janie back into the car. Nevertheless he just kept quiet, watching the motor move away and disappear from his sight.

"Darling, why did you just come?" Vicky immediately hugged Charlie who had just entered his room. "I've been waiting for you!" Vicky is now pampered in Charlie's arm.

"I'm sorry, I was driving Janie first" Charlie said, a little lying, because what really happened was that he just lingered on the sidewalk to ease his emotions after seeing Janie go with Jack.

"Don't tell me you're starting to like that girl!" Vicky was jealous.

"Here you go, don't provoke a fight in the morning, I drive him every day because it's the father who asked for it!" Charlie who has not been a hundred percent relieved of his emotions because Janie left with another man does not want to be re-ignited because of Vicky's actions.

"Never turn away from me okay?" Vicky who was already holding onto Charlie's cheek began to kiss him very demandingly. They kissed long enough, until finally a knock on the door broke their romance.

"Come in!" Charlie ordered to enter.

"Doctor, it's your schedule today" Andy said as he thrust a map into Charlie's hands.

"Alright, thanks for the help" Charlie accepts and codes Andy out of the room.

"Excuse me doc" Andy said as he exited the director's room.

"I have to work!" then Charlie turns back and talks to Vicky.

"But later in the afternoon accompany me to the mall, huh?" Vicky begged.

"Well, we'll be gone in the afternoon!" Charlie consented.

"Okay, then I go first huh, bye baby!" Vicky again gave her hot kiss as a farewell.

Charlie and Vicky are dating at the mall as agreed on in the morning.

"Darling how about we eat first? there's a restaurant that just opened and said it's pretty good" Vicky persuaded Charlie by wriggling on his girlfriend's arm.

"It's up to you" replied Charlie.

They then walked towards the restaurant in question. After arriving at the destination, they booked a seat for two people near the window.

"Janie!?" vicky's gaze was on the girl sitting right across the table.

"Sister Charlie? Vicky?" Janie is surprised to see her husband with a lover who has made her feel unloved as a wife.

While Charlie just fell silent without responding at all.

"Are you dating?" it was Goda Vicky who saw Janie with Jack.

"Hello, I'm Jack!" Jack introduces himself and extends a hand to Charlie and Vicky.

"How about we go on a double date?" Vicky gave me an idea.

"Ah, we'll disturb you!" Janie is feeling sad.

"Absolutely not, don't hesitate!" said Vicky then called the waiter to put their table together.

After ordering the food menu, they then began to eat while talking about their daily lives.

"It's Jack, don't you like this so much?" Janie thrusts a piece of mushrooms into Jack's plate.

"Thank you" Jack smiled accepting it.

"You are so romantic!" Vicky feels that Janie and Jack's romance is a good thing for their complicated relationship.

Throughout the meal Charlie did not speak a word, he was more silent and focused on eating his food. Only Vicky and Janie talkative are greeted occasionally by Jack.

"Well, when it's over, it looks like we can go home, come on Janie!" charlie finally spoke.

"Darling, we're not going for a walk?" Vicky asked his girlfriend.

"Oh yes, brother, if you want to go for a walk again just leave, Jack and I also still have some business that we need to finish until later tonight" janie said, surprised that Charlie invited her home together.

"Well then, we're parting ways here huh?" Vicky hugged Janie and shook Jack's hand. Charlie paid for their food.

"Thank you for the treat" Jack reached out to Charlie and was met with a flat reply.

Charlie who was not in the mood to walk directly took Vicky home. He arrived home first compared to Janie. An annoyance spread throughout his body seeing his room empty. She kept on being restless waiting for Janie to come home until nightfall.

"Where have you been?" Charlie immediately greeted Janie who had just entered the room in a hostile tone.

"So you're home?" Janie is confused what to answer with Charlie's attitude that looks upset.

"Is this how young people are dating today? go home late at night without giving news to the house people?" Charlie's like a man of disobedience.

"So why are you angry? didn't you know I was going with Jack? anyway, I told you I'd be home tonight because I still have some business to do!" Janie is completely inexhaustible with Charlie's attitude suddenly getting angry with her.

"What did you do with Jack until tonight?" Charlie is still very emotional.

"Ah nothing, just a small project!" Janie is still keeping herself from being ignited by Charlie's attitude.

"Ohhh, so is that your attitude when asked by your husband?" Charlie could no longer bear his frustration.

"Why are you? what's wrong with me? I just went with Jack to do a job!" Janie who initially did not want to respond was finally unable to bear to let go of her frustration.

"Did you forget your status was married?" Charlie pulls Janie's body and hugs her waist, making no distance at all between the two of them.

"Cih, did you say status is married? you yourself forgot that you were holding your girlfriend? did you forget that I was never considered a wife?" Janie replied to Charlie very strongly.

"Let go of me, I'm tired, want to rest!" Janie rebelled and broke free from Charlie's embrace.

After cleaning up, Janie immediately turned her back to Charlie without saying a word.
